For dogs, I’m especially a great fit for higher-energy pets that need more activity and engagement. I am particularly experienced in caring for and training senior dogs. I understand the need to prepare special meals for dietary needs and catering playtime to a dog's health and interests. Administering oral medicine is no biggie for me, as long as I'm made aware of how they usually prefer to take their meds! If the dog is able to, I love taking them out for walks and playing games to keep their mind and body stimulated. There is nothing better than loving our furry family members who always give us unconditional love! I also have experience caring for cats and knowing the importance of respecting their space and letting them come to me when they're comfortable! I love playing with cats or even just watching them sunbathe in the most random parts of a home. I am open to caring for all types of animals (I've had to watch hamsters in addition to dogs before), so your pet will always be showered with love! Prior to Booking 🗓️ I will always ask to schedule a meet & greet to ensure your pet is comfortable with me. During this meet & greet, I'd love to know more about your pet's daily routine, a tour of your home, and any other housekeeping notes I should know during the stay. The meet & greet is to see if we're a good fit and make sure we're both comfortable proceeding with the booking. I always ask my clients to type up a document with pet care instructions and any notes about the home to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. If your pet requires constant supervision due to separation anxiety or behavior that requires special attention (aggressive behavior, chews on personal items, constantly barks throughout the day, always pulls on the leash, not potty trained, has a habit of biting or scratching unprovoked), an additional flat fee of $20 will be added to reflect the additional care that they'll require. What to Expect 💭 Multiple photo updates during the day! I always send photos before they're requested. You'll see what your pets are up to, whether there are any issues going on that you need to know, or just silly moments of them that I happened to capture. It'll be like you never left them. Many walks (around 2-3 times a day), cuddles, treats (as allowed), and toys to keep your pet entertained during the day! Your home will be respected and kept in a clean condition. I understand the anxiety of having someone else in your home, so I'll always respect boundaries about rooms to leave untouched, taking out the garbage, bringing in mail, and washing any dishes that may be used. I also try to clean your pet's food and water bowls daily to ensure their health and safety! I will often put any used towels or bedsheets in one place or pre-loaded into the washing machine so that you're aware of what was used. I am available during the entire week, including weekends, so I plan my day around your pet's schedule for quality feeding time, play time, and cuddles! I typically spend most of the day with your pet, stepping out to run errands as necessary. To respect my time, if you require more than one meet & greet, they will be $15 for 30 minutes each. The first meet & greet is free! I always keep track of where the pet is in the home and maintain a watchful eye of what they’re eating, playing with, or exploring. Since I have a senior dog of my own, I understand the need to react quickly to any alarming noises or behavior and am able to think on my feet to address concerns while also keeping you in the loop! I am also quick to notice when play time is getting too intense and a fight might break out so I know when to step in and distract pets to help de-escalate the situation.

About: I have taken care of my own pets since I was 10. I have also shown dogs the basic commands of sit, wait, jump paired with hand gestures. I have 3 dogs of my own that I care for as well as a cat. I have fostered kittens and found them good homes as well as cared for an stray, injured kitten. I am a university alumni, currently unemployed but do volunteer work. I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I am available to do drop ins to play with your pet and taken them out on potty breaks as well as take them on walks. I am available to care for your pets any day. I can care for your pets by doing drop ins to engage in play time/have potty breaks and taking them out for their walks to release energy and promote a healthy lifestyle. I have a crate in my home and pet supplies (dog wipes, food, etc) to use if necessary.
