About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own 15-year-old dog, including gentle walks and regular baths. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and loved while maintaining their daily routines. I work remotely, which allows me to be home and attentive during the day. I’m fully available on Fridays and Saturdays, and I’m also available during mornings on other days for walks, feedings, and check-ins. I always talk to the owner first to understand the dog’s routine and preferences. Then I follow their schedule closely, ensuring pets get walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention, while keeping the home tidy and sending regular updates so owners feel at ease.

About: I’m always looking to help someone in need. Whether you have a dog, cat, parakeet or hamster, I can show up to the scene and make sure your furry, feathered, or scaled friend is well taken care of. I can take a wide variety of pets and I do not mind live feeder animals or messy situations. My 12-year old daughter is an animal enthusiast and will tag along! Please only book with me if you are okay with that. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Can work with you to find a time that works for both of us. Message me please! My cats are allowed to run all over the house as long as they don’t conduct major property damage. I will walk your dogs according to your preferences and treat your smaller friends with care.
“My dog Harvey loves Vicky! she’s dependable, always on time and does everything we ask of her when she comes in for drop in visits. We have already rebooked her. She’s great!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and breeds for over 10 years. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide companionship for their pets. I am patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and senior pets that require extra care. My priority is always to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I work part-time, I have lots of extra time to spend with furry friends. Whether it’s weekday evenings or weekends, I’m happy to give your pets all the playtime, snuggles, and walks they need. I’ll make sure they never feel lonely while you’re away. I live in a bright and cozy 2B2B condo filled with sunshine — the perfect spot for kitties who love to nap in warm, sunny corners. Since I don’t have pets of my own, your cat will get all of my love and attention. I enjoy playing with curious, active cats as much as I enjoy giving gentle care to shy or quiet ones. From feeding to litter box cleaning, cuddles, and playtime, I’ll make sure your kitty feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care our kitty received while we were away! Michelle was attentive, reliable, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our furry friend felt comfortable and loved. We appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind. Our kitty looked happy and well cared for when we returned. Highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”
“Stephanie took such great care of Timbie and made our first Rover sitter experience perfect! She was so kind to Timbie and followed all care instructions carefully. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Tiana did a great job with our cats! We booked every other day of a 2 week trip and she was always on time and sent lots of pictures. She also vacuumed! I would definitely recommend her and will be booking her again soon!”

“Jenn was super friendly, responsive, and easy to work with! We had left a couple of things unclear about our pet's care (sorry about that, Jenn) but she was awesome and reached out to us for clarification to make sure that our cat Charlie was well taken care of while we're away. Would recommend!”

“Elaine took care of my new pup during her first week at my home; she definitely went above and beyond. Pekoe was happily tired out when I got home which is more than I could ask for. Thanks Elaine!”

“Athena was fantastic with my 2 kittens. They’re still a bit mischievous and she went above and beyond to make sure they remained safe while I was gone. She was very responsive and I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Destiny, im an animal lover. I grew up around both dogs and cats and had taken care of neighbors dogs before. I have experience with Huskies, goldens, labs, Chihuahuas, and Frenchies, But im always looking to meet and care for all breeds. I have taken care of both puppies and seniors before as well as those who need oral medicine. I also grew up and have experience with cats. I also like to volunteer at my local pet shelter when possible. I currently work Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at an office though on Thursdays I only work until 1pm. The rest of the week I work part time at a restaurant the schedule of is given to me bi weekly and is only one 5 hour shift. I am also looking to leave said office job for something more physically active so hopefully those days will be freed up soon. I love animals and have my own fur babies as well. In terms of comfort I will try my best to make sure your fur baby also feels safe and loved while they are with me just as i do with my own. In practical terms any info you are willing to provide will be most helpful. I would like to know if they have any allergies, have physical or mental health problems i should keep in mind, medication needs, are they escape artist, favorite food/ treats/ toys etc. Anything would be useful, I want to make sure my visits are safe and fun , for my own part I will take safety precautions. If you are wanting me to give a simple bath I can do that as well just know im not a professional groomer and therefore will not be bathing dogs or cats that bite, scratch, or have anyother behavior problems with baths both for my safety and theirs.

“I cannot recommend Hejie ‘Kristen’ highly enough! She has visited my Husky, Kato, twice now, and Kato has clearly chosen her as her favorite new playmate. During her 30-minute visits, Kristen does an amazing job not just exercising Kato physically, but truly working her mind. Kato absolutely loves to learn, and Kristen takes the time to practice and strengthen her existing commands while keeping it fun. It is wonderful to have someone who understands exactly what a smart working dog needs. 5 stars!”

“Conner was awesome- we needed someone to watch our elderly cat and bunny rabbit and Conner was an awesome choice! He was a clear communicator and we felt that our animals were very well taken care of! Thanks Conner!!’”

“We had a great experience with Hsuan-Chu. She took such good care of our cats and really spent time playing with them, which they loved. Clove is usually pretty shy and nervous around new people, but she actually felt comfortable with Hsuan-Chu and even warmed up to her, which meant a lot to us. Cumin also enjoyed spending time with her and clearly had a great time playing. Communication was easy, we always got thoughtful updates, and we could tell they were both happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again.”

“This is the second time I’ve had Vanessa take care of my cat. Both times she has been excellent with communication, timeliness and giving my cat plenty of attention while I’m away. Would absolutely recommend and use again in the future!”

“Excellent care of my two cats. Litter box stopped working and she was able to clean and manage the issue for me while on vacation. Even accommodated another visit. Thank you for easing my worry.”

Stephanie was amazing with Trackie! She was reliable, paid close attention to all the care instructions, and gave thoughtful updates that really put my mind at ease. It was clear she genuinely cared about Trackie, and she looked so happy and comfortable during her visits. This was my first time using Rover, and Stephanie made it such a great experience. I would rebook her in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!

This was my second time booking with Hejie, and she was amazing as always! She’s patient, caring, and very detail-oriented. She took wonderful care of my cat, Boba, and kept me updated throughout each visit. It’s such a relief knowing Boba is in such good hands. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely book with her again!

Michelle took great care of my two cats during my travel. She made sure they had access to enough food and water, and cleaned their litter box as needed. She also played with them so they were having fun during her visits. I'd definitely use Michelle again when similar needs arise again in the future!

This was my first experience using Rover, and I am so happy that I found Sydney. From the moment I contacted her, she was punctual, kind, and professional. I am truly grateful for the attention, kindness, and dedication Sydney showed throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend her and would gladly book with her again.

Jenny is a great communicator and provided updates with many photos, which I really appreciated. She followed all feeding instructions carefully and gave consistent updates on how my 1-year-old cat was doing after each visit. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in good hands. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cupertino. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
