“Jordan was kind, communicative, friendly, and respectful. She was a great choice to stop in and look after Finn and Remi. She stepped up when I reached out with short notice and gave the boys the best care (and day) ever. I highly recommend her to watch your pets!”

“Miriam was the absolute best! She took great care of my cat while I was away on a two week trip. She communicates regularly and often, made sure to send detailed summaries of every visit, and sent several pictures and videos every day of my cat. In fact, she even went above and beyond, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the area around the cat's litter box thoroughly cleaned and well kept, as well as a cleaned up feeding machine -- even though we didn't ask her to do either of those things. Thanks a lot Miriam!”

“Alexis was fabulous! She took care of my cat Alfred over a weekend while I was away, feeding him and changing his water, and made sure to send me plenty of pictures of him enjoying himself! I would definitely book with her again.”

“Michelle has done a fantastic and meticulous job on taking care of my Shiba Inu who is not easy with lots of caveats. We feel fortunate to have found Michelle and felt at ease to have her drop in visit, with everything take care of per instruction. Her experience and great communication is another bright spot. Strongly recommend!”

“Anahita took excellent care of our cat, while we were away. She was punctual, professional, and very responsive, and her kindness toward our cat gave me complete peace of mind. Seeing photos of Ms. Moushi happily lounging and cuddling with her was so reassuring. We’ll absolutely be using her help again.”

“My dog Harvey loves Vicky! she’s dependable, always on time and does everything we ask of her when she comes in for drop in visits. We have already rebooked her. She’s great!”

About: I’ve been a dog person in my entire life, and during Covid I got the chance to raise a puppy from infancy that now is my parents beloved pet. As a youngster, I frequently made a habit of watching and walking other people’s dogs, and very quickly loved the opportunity to meet and hang out with new animals. Once I moved to college, I began rescuing and fostering dogs and eventually ended up with one of my own. She and I adore the company of dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments! I’m currently working part time from home, so I will have a lot of extra time to care for and walk and play with any animals in my care. My house has space for animals to run around and play in, and I have access to a large fenced yard at the back of my building. This is my dog‘s favorite place to play. I have lots of toys and my house is very pet safe, with no random bits and bobs that could be harmful.
“Caroline was so wonderful!! She was prompt, responsible, and sent so many photos each day. She was great with my kitty who adored her and even sacrificed some of her own hair ties for her to play with!”

“Peanut loves his Aunt Krista!! She keeps him busy with a full playtime session. We attribute his good puppy demeanor to her care and time spent with him. We are so glad we found Krista!”
“Shannon took great care of my puppy Pekoe. I didnt want to change her crating routine too fast too soon with returning to work. She gives great detailed updates and goes above and beyond with expectations.”

“This is my first time having Shannon do a drop in visit for my dog. There was a hiccup during our first appointment but I’ve decided to still go ahead and meet her. I’m glad I did! She went above and beyond in taking care of my dog. She also sends detailed report after her drop in visits. I highly recommend her.”

“Cordigen D always is super flexible and is able to come at specific times to make sure my cat is in the house. She’s kind and my cat clearly loves her. I always get her when I travel. She’s the best.”

About: Hi, My name is Alex, it's nice to meet you. I have loved dogs my whole life. I enjoy taking care of them and the care they give back in return. Walking your dog will be as rewarding to them as it will be to me. I am a 33 year old male currently living in Mountain View. I am here to walk dogs and to do my best to care for them when I am on the job. Although I've attended a few dog training classes. Most my experience comes from being with dogs and research I've done along the way. I've been walking dogs for years now. I'll do my best to be observant, safe, and professional. My schedule is fairly open so I have the ability to be flexible with my customers.
About: Pets are part of the family! Let me make sure your family member is taken care of while you're away, and spoil them like mine! I work with differently abled kids at school, and my nights are flexible which leaves me time to hang out with your pets and mine! I care for pets by playing with them, giving fresh water and food AND fresh litter box, and of course, giving lots and lots of love!!
“Kelun was great, she took such good care of my cats while I was gone and the place wasn’t a mess when I got back. I can recommend her enough, one of boy cats really warmed up to her so well.”

“So happy to have found Shannon last minute on Rover. She was able to help us while we were away at a soccer tournament all weekend. Our dogs both loved her and she had some great suggestions for training our puppy. We will definitely have her watch our dogs again!”

About: I love all pets. I would be caring and loving to your pet while they're with me. Whether a puppy, kitten, a specials need animal or an elderly. I will be sure to provide them a healthy and safe environment, help with their medicine, take them for walks as needed, feed and play with them often. I am a good communicator. Unless you request otherwise, I will send daily updates along with pictures of your fury baby. I dedicate 1-2 days per week for 1/2 day to volunteering. I have two grown children and a cat at home. I have plenty of time to spare and dedicate to your pet. Safety first! I live in a house with a fence. I will be sure to watch and care for your dog if we're walking outside. I will not let them loose in the backyard without supervision.

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She took amazing care of Fuji and sent detailed updates after every visit, along with 40+ photos each time, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She paid close attention to his eating, litter box, energy level, and even noticed little things like the condition of his cat grass. It was obvious she genuinely cared for him, spending quality time playing, cuddling, and making sure he was happy. I came home to a healthy, relaxed cat, and I would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!

Lisa took great care of my two cats! One of them is very shy and the other is super playful, but Lisa made sure both felt comfortable and gave my active cat plenty of fun playtime. This isn't the first time I've hired Lisa, but it was her first time caring for both cats together, and as always, she did a fantastic job. Highly recommend her!

Barbara is absolutely wonderful and truly goes above and beyond. She took excellent care of my cat, spent extra time with her, and kept me updated while I was away. I had complete peace of mind knowing my cat was in such caring and reliable hands. I couldn’t appreciate Barbara more and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional cat sitter!
Caroline was so easy to communicate with throughout, helping set my mind at ease that my three cats were getting the care I had hoped for. She provided a lovely little summary and photos each day, allowing me to get a glimpse of how my furbabies were doing. She regularly administered medication to my one cat who has a digestive issues. She kept me updated when she vomited (an occasional issue) and cleaned it up. She followed my requests around opening a few windows during her visits, refilling a humidifier regularly for my one cat’s asthma or plugging in the AC the night before a hot day. I appreciated knowing my cats had such a reliable caring person to check in on them, play with them, give them the attention they wanted, and provide food and water. I would absolutely have Caroline care for my cats again!

Miriam was amazing! My 2 cats are typically very shy and do not engage with the sitter but they came out for her. Marshmellow, my ragdoll, came to her when she came for the meet & greet visit. My kitties were happy and well cared for during the approximately 2 weeks we were away. I was very happy with her care of my large cats and her professionalism. I would happily rebook her again for my next trip.

Rachel is our regular and favorite cat sitter since we joined Rover over a few years ago! She’s very reliable, has excellent communication, provides fun, detailed reports and sweet photos of my two cats. I can go on trips in peace knowing Rachel is handling everything. She takes great care of my apartment and cats and they absolutely love her! Rachel is the absolute best!

Yi is an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of my cat who absolutely adores her. She gave my cat plenty of play time, treats, cuddles, fresh water and clean litter. She took the time to meet up with me and my cat to learn about our space, my cat’s personality and needs. She was respectful of my home and was a great communicator. I would definitely book with Yi again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
