“Jordan was kind, communicative, friendly, and respectful. She was a great choice to stop in and look after Finn and Remi. She stepped up when I reached out with short notice and gave the boys the best care (and day) ever. I highly recommend her to watch your pets!”

“Jiwon is very kind and communicative, and I felt that my cat was in good hands with her. She gave concise and thoughtful updates each visit and has a genuine love of animals :-).”

About: I have grown up and cared for dogs for the past 15 years. I helped care for my dogs when they were puppies, and now have experience caring for them in old age. I am familiar with medication administration, and other special needs that senior dogs may have. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for three years, where I interact with skittish and reactive dogs. I currently work full time, but have significant availability to care for pets in the evenings and on weekends. I am also able to walk and feed pets before work each morning. I understand that each pet is different, and different animal households have different needs. I am excellent at following instructions, especially when it comes to feeding routines and habits.
“Miriam is a wonderful pet-sitter. We hired her for drop-in visits with our two cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. Not only did she take excellent care of them, but she also arrived early in the morning each day, which I really appreciated. The cats' routine was never disrupted and we came home to two well-fed, groomed, and happy kitties. We will definitely hire Miriam again!”

“Alexis was fabulous! She took care of my cat Alfred over a weekend while I was away, feeding him and changing his water, and made sure to send me plenty of pictures of him enjoying himself! I would definitely book with her again.”

“We had complicated instructions for our doggies, including medication, and Makenna did everything perfectly. She was always right on time, and our dogs loved her. We hope to use her again! We loved the pictures she sent and the descriptions of what they were doing and how they were behaving.”

“Courtney took calked our our little 20 lbs doggie while I was away and and also did some play time with him! Communication was great and I was so relieved to see how happy he was with her. It was our first time with Courtneys help but we will definitely book with her again!”

“Cordigen was wonderful and went above and beyond for our two cats while we were traveling. We massively appreciated the pictures and updates about our cats but also how Cordigen regularly took in packages and made sure everything else was in order in our home. Thank you, Cordigen!!”

She went above and beyond in taking care of my dog. She also sends detailed report after her drop in visits. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi, My name is Alex, it's nice to meet you. I have loved dogs my whole life. I enjoy taking care of them and the care they give back in return. Walking your dog will be as rewarding to them as it will be to me. I am a 33 year old male currently living in Mountain View. I am here to walk dogs and to do my best to care for them when I am on the job. Although I've attended a few dog training classes. Most my experience comes from being with dogs and research I've done along the way. I've been walking dogs for years now. I'll do my best to be observant, safe, and professional. My schedule is fairly open so I have the ability to be flexible with my customers.

“Dog Sitter Review: Exceptional Care and Attention! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of using John for the second time, and once again, he exceeded all my expectations! This time, he took care of not just my resident dog but also my foster puppy, and I couldn't be more grateful for his dedication and compassion. It was clear that John has a genuine love for animals. He provided both dogs with plenty of attention, playtime, and care, ensuring they felt comfortable and happy during my absence. His ability to manage the needs of both my resident dog and a young, energetic puppy was impressive, and it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. What truly stood out this time was the extra effort he put into making my home feel welcoming upon my return. Not only did he take great care of my dogs, but he also went above and beyond by cleaning my apartment and even disposing of my trash! It’s those little touches that show how much he cares about his clients and their homes. I cannot recommend John enough! His professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness make him an outstanding choice for pet care. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family and ensure your home is well taken care of, look no further. I will definitely be using his services again in the future! Thank you,John, for all that you do!”

“Robyn is clearly a dog lover. My rescue pit bull mix loves her and took to her immediately. Robyn was able to fit me in for 2x per day drop ins despite my short notice. Robyn is professional and caring and provides great updates. She is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend her for caring for your furry friends. I am currently working with Robyn to book daily visits going forward.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Los Altos Hills
Jordan was outstanding. 10/10 would book with her again. She treated our cat Juniper like her own and was so thoughtful about sharing updates and taking pictures. Little Junebug was happy as a clam when we got back from our trip, her coat was shiny, and her eyes clear. And that is saying a lot since other times we have left her with cat sitters we've returned to find her scrawny and overgroomed from stress. Thank you, Jordan!!!

Xiaomeng did such an amazing job with my cat Barnie! She was so meticulous about making sure he was eating and going to the bathroom enough, and always spent extra time playing with him. She also always uploaded so many sweet photos of him!!! This was my first time using Rover and it was an amazing experience thanks to her :)

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She took amazing care of Fuji and sent detailed updates after every visit, along with 40+ photos each time, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She paid close attention to his eating, litter box, energy level, and even noticed little things like the condition of his cat grass. It was obvious she genuinely cared for him, spending quality time playing, cuddling, and making sure he was happy. I came home to a healthy, relaxed cat, and I would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!

Kenzi was amazing with our cat! She was very communicative and detailed in every Rover report card, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our cat can be very aggressive with strangers and has even attacked previous nannies, but Kenzi was incredibly patient with her and also creative in distracting her while she cleaned the litter and took care of everything. By the end, our cat was trusting her enough to let her pet her sometimes, which is a HUGE deal! Kenzi was also punctual, respectful, and followed all our instructions perfectly. We will definitely book her again for future trips!

Kevin did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. He was friendly and easy to communicate with. During our meet, he asked thoughtful questions about my cat’s routine and even small details like litter disposal, which really showed his experience and attention to detail. During each visit, he not only handled all the basics but also spent time playing with my cat, which I really appreciated. I felt totally at ease knowing she was in good hands. I would definitely book with Kevin again. Highly recommended!

Lisa took great care of my two cats! One of them is very shy and the other is super playful, but Lisa made sure both felt comfortable and gave my active cat plenty of fun playtime. This isn't the first time I've hired Lisa, but it was her first time caring for both cats together, and as always, she did a fantastic job. Highly recommend her!

Kathrine checked in on our cat, Hadoop, twice a day reliably. She has great communication, is very friendly, and made my older cat feel comfortable right away. She was able to give him his pills no problem and I appreciate that she asked when she had a question. Would definitely recommended her!

Katelyn was absolutely incredible with my two cats! She did a fantastic job feeding and playing with them, and she sent tons of wonderful photo updates that totally put my mind at ease. On top of that, one of my kitties had a messy bathroom accident, and she went above and beyond to clean everything up.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
