Michael was amazing. He understood every ask I gave of him, even those that were conditional on what he saw at our house. He made sure to give my cat the full time, and never let her out of his sight while he was with her. I would happily book him again to take care of my cat

Michael went above and beyond with Harvey. He was super attentive to my questions and helped me out in a tough spot. Cannot recommend him enough!

Michael is absolutely fantastic! He is reliable, patient - cares for my Jamun and walks the very slow walk with him, gives feedback and a really great person. It is such a relief that my dog is in good hands. Thanks, Michael.

Michael was absolutely wonderful with our pup Momo! He walked him twice a day for several months during my pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and we couldn’t have gotten through it without him. Always reliable, punctual, and so caring with Momo. Highly recommend .

Michael came early to meet me and my dog on The first visit and gave my pup a nice walk. Very personable and responsible, on first impressions. I hope he will walk my dog again

Michael was a great match for our two small dogs! They loved their daily walks with him and gained trust with him very quickly :)

Schedule

I'm looking to walk or care for dogs around regular employment. I have some flexibility so as to adjust to your needs. I expect to offer services during the week and sometimes on the weekend for one time arrangements.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have bonded with more than one dog that reportedly “only bond with women.” They usually come to me quickly, but on their schedule making adjustments for the dog in front of me. The most recent animal I cared for and didn't live with at the time was always very excited to see me walk in the door as he knew I would take him for a walk 2 minutes later.

Pets

A typical day

Activities with your dog will depend on what you want them to get or do, what they are able to do, and what they want to do. I'll take my lead from you and make decisions with your gospel. My regular activity with our dog is walking him twice a day and too many trips to count for him to go out to potty when he's awake.

How old are they? How do they interface with other animals and people? Is there an additional goal to my visit or walk besides make them feel loved and taken care of with contact or exercise? Exhaust them? Stimulate them with puzzle activities? Light exercise as they don't breathe as well as we might hope? Let them snif around a dog friendly area and provide protection from other dogs/people/whatever? Should I help them hunt squirrels(one dog I had loved this and never got close enough to hurt themselves or the squirrel, too worrisome to allow if I thought for a second he'd be able to catch it)
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
