I have bonded with more than one dog that reportedly “only bond with women.” They usually come to me quickly, but on their schedule making adjustments for the dog in front of me. The most recent animal I cared for and didn't live with at the time was always very excited to see me walk in the door as he knew I would take him for a walk 2 minutes later.

Information Michael V. would like to know about your pet
How old are they? How do they interface with other animals and people? Is there an additional goal to my visit or walk besides make them feel loved and taken care of with contact or exercise? Exhaust them? Stimulate them with puzzle activities? Light exercise as they don't breathe as well as we might hope? Let them snif around a dog friendly area and provide protection from other dogs/people/whatever? Should I help them hunt squirrels(one dog I had loved this and never got close enough to hurt themselves or the squirrel, too worrisome to allow if I thought for a second he'd be able to catch it)
A typical day
Activities with your dog will depend on what you want them to get or do, what they are able to do, and what they want to do. I'll take my lead from you and make decisions with your gospel. My regular activity with our dog is walking him twice a day and too many trips to count for him to go out to potty when he's awake.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs ages 2 and up, but most of my experience has been with senior dogs. My most recent animals were 17.5 and 16.5 years old when they passed. My current animal is an energetic 13 years old. :-)
Reviews
Mike took care of my cat when we went on a vacation. He is very experienced and knows how to engage with cats. Followed all instructions came every day. Cat used to play with him. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Michael

Taco and Jenny really enjoyed spending time with Michael.

We have booked with Michael several times now. He is so reliable and easy to work with. I have one senior dog and two younger ones. All of them were given enough care and attention. Even one of them enjoyed “hide & seek” right before a walk, Michael didn’t message us immediately (would’ve panicked us because we’d thought he is missing 😂) but followed this little one’s ritual and patiently and playfully guided him downstairs to start the walk. It’s all these small actions from Michael made us dog parents can really be enjoying our trips while left our babies in such a good hand. Thank you!!
