“Pete was Awesome!!! Fist off, my dogs are rescues. They have idiosyncrasies (lol). Taffy puts up defences when meeting new people. So much so, that two prior interviewees turned down the offer. Peter, who is a gentle giant, won her over during the interview. Not with his giantness, but his amazing gentleness. Usually it takes some time for Taffy to trust someone, but she found something in Peter to trust right away! The rest of the week went incredibly smoothly. I got texts every evening (he offered photos but i declined). Both Tanka and Taffy assumed "Belly Rub" positions once Peter arrived. I heard such great reports that when I got home, I had to tearfully sit down with them and ask if they would rather go and live with Peter. Just kidding, I couldn't ask that question for fear of the answer!! When I came home, my doges were normal. Not filled with fear, anxiety, depression or anything that separation might cause. About: I am a big animal loving person and I like to spend time outside and I would love to take your pets on walks to help them release energy and spend time with them! I am a soccer player for a college and I am also a college student. It is hard to find ways to make more money but when I heard about this I thought it was perfect because I love animals and what better way to make money if you love to spend time with animals! I care for the pets the way that the owner will want me to, every owner is different so I want to keep that consistent to not confused the pets. On the other hand, my own pets are very spoiled and loved. They are trained but they know they are very spoiled and are treated very good. They are living their best life!

About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.

About: I recently lost my nearly 9-year-old German Shepherd who I raised since he was 8 weeks old. I loved him so much and am happy I was able to give him a great life. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters, so naturally I love animals! (They tend to like me too.) I am comfortable with any size dog, both large and small, and can administer pet medications or help with any dietary needs. I am lucky enough to be able to work primarily from home, which allows me time to prepare meals and exercise my dog every day. Taking care of pets is part of my everyday life. I live in a townhome near several parks, and my community has a dedicated pet relief area. I generally don't crate my dog unless he chooses to go in it on his own. I of course have no problem crating your dog or following any instructions you provide.
