“This was our first time having Rachel look after our boys! She did an excellent job and was stellar with her questions and attention to detail. She had questions for us about details we forgot on our OWN cat instructions. If you are looking for a new cat sitter - look no further!”

“Jenna is an absolutely fantastic pet sitter. She took care of our cats for two weeks while we were traveling and spent lots of time playing with them gave us daily updates with cute photos and was generally super communicative. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend her.”

“I can't say enough good things about Anna! She arrived on time and jumped right in to playing with Louie. She took him for a walk, played with him in the yard, and gave him a much-needed rest time. I know these things because she sent me pictures when I was away. The house was clean when I got home, and my puppy was relaxed and happy! I would have Anna back in a heartbeat!”

“Julia Mae took great loving care of Dexter. Thorough updates and lots of picks to make this momma feel like her baby was being well taken care of. And to find a sitter on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day who sacrificed their time was a true gift. Thank you - Christine and Dexter”

“This was the second time Morgan watched my cats and I felt at peace with them in her care. Her communication is excellent. My very shy cat even warmed up to her! She’s fantastic.”

“What a dream Rover! Megan is so attentive, gave thorough check ins with adorable photos, and kept our active girl busy with neighborhood adventures. We can tell our dog really enjoys and trusts her — which makes all the difference while we’re away. Thank you Megan!!!”

“Danielle is awesome! We scheduled meet-and-greet prior to the pet sitting so that we can meet in person and Danielle knows where everything is. My cat is too shy and timid to come out and play with her, but Danielle took care of the daily chores for my cat and sent me detailed notes daily. Highly recommend her for your pet :)”

“Julia took such great care of our two kitties! She has a great personality, so warm and positive, and even her notes and pics she puts on the app each day capture this. We’re so lucky to have found her!”

“My dogs can be a handful but from their very first introduction, they loved Octavia and she was so good with them! She's a lovely person and a great caretaker and I'm happy to have found someone I trust.”

“We had a positive experience with Kayleigh when she checked in on our orange menace Winnie for a few days. 🐱 She did exactly what was asked of her, and asked clarifying questions to make sure everything was correct. We returned to him content and healthy. Appreciate her effort and would love to book again. Thank you! 🐾”

About: Firm yet loving care for all dogs, specializing in puppy training, high energy, hiking/running, and managing complex medical needs like seizures, food sensitivities, and limited mobility. Currently working from home with flexible time which allows me to integrate training, walks, play time, and medical monitoring throughout the day, while weekends are dedicated to long runs/walks and trail hikes. My approach to pet care is rooted in structure, trust, and genuine affection. My services will be tailored to each dog's needs indoors or outdoors.
“Sjofn was soooooo happy to get so many belly rubs she was thrilled and didn’t want them to leave. I highly recommend Guilherme and his wife. Sjofn would be thrilled to get more belly rubs and I would be happy to have them watch her again :)”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for my entire life. I’ve regularly taken care of family pets, house/dog sat, and walked dogs. I also have a dog of my own who loves long walks, the park and snuggles. My schedule is variable week to week but I have more consistent weekend availability. I have availability for dog walks during the week as well. I want the fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible. I also want to stay on a consistent schedule that your pet is accustomed to.
About: Animals have always been my jam. One of my favorite quotes is, "Dogs are angels sent down by god to teach us how to unconditionally love". When I'm surrounded by animals I feel at peace and because of that they feel content and loved. I've always had connections with animals on a very deep level. I feel they have so much to teach us and that earning an animals trust is one of life's most highest honors. With all my friends and family I've always been "chosen" by their cats and have been their dogs favorite person outside the family. I have a gift with animals that has allowed me the privilege to take care of and connect with many throughout the years. I do most of my work at home online and I'm a homebody so my pet care is part of my normal daily routine. I want them to feel that they're never alone. I feed, walk, play games cuddle and treat them as my own.If they need medicine, I can help with that as well. The hardest part of doing a service like this is when I leave them I miss them dearly until next time I see them.
“Elle was so good with our cats! We had not left them for a long trip and she made us feel relaxed and confident leaving the gents in her care. PLUS we got delayed and she graciously let us rebook for the extra few days.”

Julie Mae is the absolute BEST!! She always goes above and beyond for us and our sweet cat Kinsie. She sends lots of pictures, takes extra good care of her, gives her lots of cuddles and love while we’re gone, takes care of litter, food, and water, and even helps with trash/vacuum of the litter! We know Kinsie is always in such good hands with Julie Mae and she will always be our go to :)

This was my first time using rover and I am so happy I found Rachel! She was flexible, accommodating, and did everything and beyond for my kitties. One of my cats is very scared of people and doesn’t like changes so I am so scared to leave him, he came out to her and she send a lot of pictures on the rover card. I felt at ease knowing she would take care of him so I could enjoy my vacation. Would definitely recommend her and I will be using her every time she’s available in the future!
Morgan took care of our two kittens for 2 weeks! It gave my husband and I so much peace of mind knowing that they were with her. She made sure they were well fed, clean, loved, and entertained while we were away. She was always very communicative and responsive. I could not recommend her enough.

Once again, Yifan was great with my cat Rhys! I appreciate her attention to detail and her thorough report cards! I enjoyed reading them each evening while away and seeing photos of Rhys. Thank you again Yifan for your thoughtful care of both Rhys and my place!

Savanna was once again very responsive and wonderful to work with. She is a great communicator and problem solver. It was so great of her to take care of ants that threatened my cat’s food access while I was away. I’m so grateful to have had someone trusted like Savanna look after Maxine.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
