“Danielle is awesome! We scheduled meet-and-greet prior to the pet sitting so that we can meet in person and Danielle knows where everything is. My cat is too shy and timid to come out and play with her, but Danielle took care of the daily chores for my cat and sent me detailed notes daily. Highly recommend her for your pet :)”

About: I've been caring for pets for several years, beginning with my family's two cats and later helping care for a neighbor's cat. Since then, I've had the opportunity to care for both cats and dogs through repeat house-sitting and drop-in visits. My experience includes caring for multiple cats on several occasions, house sitting for three dachshunds while maintaining their feeding schedule and providing medication for one with back issues, and caring for dogs of different sizes, including pit bull's and a medium-sized mixed-breed dog. I take pride in keeping pets on their normal routine and providing a calm, comfortable environment while their owners are away. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel at ease, knowing they'll receive dependable and attentive care. My schedule is currently very flexible as I work at a yoga studio, this allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. Whether you need regular drop-in care or overnight house sitting, I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care while maintaining your pet's normal routine. I'll do my best to work around your schedule and am happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities - every step (or paw print) of the way! Your pet's health and comfortability is my top priority! I strive to keep the environment and schedule for your beloved pets the same as if you were home. I follow medication schedules, feeding schedules, and all your desires and needs to keep your fur-baby happy and healthy.
About: Hi, I’m a higher education professional based in the Bay Area! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old and have extensive experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and needs—including fostering dogs in search of forever homes and pet-sitting for neighbors. I am a massive animal lover and have four dogs of my own, including our newest addition, Roberto! I treat every pet like they are my own (and honestly, love them more than people at times!). Having joined Rover years ago in the UK, to give back to the community that has taken such great care of my own pets, I’m well-equipped with the skills needed—feeding, walking, bathing, and giving endless affection. Surrounded by dogs my whole life, I’d be thrilled to provide your pets with the same love, care, and attention I give my own. I am currently free when needed. I will always let you know if I am not since I work hybrid at times. When sitting your pet, I would make sure she/he has what they need at the time necessary. I love to play and give lots of cuddles, so no need to worry about them not getting loved or attention. Overall, I would care for your pet as I care for my own. I work hybrid but I love to care for doggies when I get the chance. I am home mostly all weekends so if you want to get out and go somewhere, I can always care for your dogs like I do for mine. We have a dog park in our apartment complex, so they will have a lot of time to play. We have four dogs who love to be active well two of them. Plus, we have a dog spa so if they are dirty we can clean them up pretty quick
About: I’ve always been surrounded by pets, growing up with both cats and dogs in my family. This constant companionship has given me a deep understanding and love for animals. I have specific experience with cats that have anxiety and aggressive behavior, learning to care for them with patience and understanding. While living in Batumi, Georgia, I volunteered to help stray dogs, feeding them and working to find them homes. This experience not only reinforced my passion for animal care but also equipped me with the skills to handle different pet behaviors and needs. I have an open schedule, so I’m available for daily walks and can stay with your pets at home for a couple of days if needed. I’m flexible and ready to fit pet care into my routine, ensuring your pets get the attention and care they need. I offer personalized care for pets both in clients' homes and during walks. At Home: - Feeding and Hydration: Ensure your pets have fresh food and water according to their schedule. - Companionship: Spend quality time playing and keeping them company to reduce anxiety. - Cleanliness: Maintain a clean environment by handling litter boxes, pet bedding, and any messes. - Medication: Administer medications as required. During Walks: - Exercise and Fun: Provide engaging walks tailored to your pet’s energy level and health needs. - Safety First: Always prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses and being vigilant about surroundings. - Behavior Management: Handle any behavioral issues with patience and positive reinforcement techniques. I customize my services to meet the specific needs and routines of your pets, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - North Fair Oaks
Julie Mae is the absolute BEST!! She always goes above and beyond for us and our sweet cat Kinsie. She sends lots of pictures, takes extra good care of her, gives her lots of cuddles and love while we’re gone, takes care of litter, food, and water, and even helps with trash/vacuum of the litter! We know Kinsie is always in such good hands with Julie Mae and she will always be our go to :)

This was my first time using rover and I am so happy I found Rachel! She was flexible, accommodating, and did everything and beyond for my kitties. One of my cats is very scared of people and doesn’t like changes so I am so scared to leave him, he came out to her and she send a lot of pictures on the rover card. I felt at ease knowing she would take care of him so I could enjoy my vacation. Would definitely recommend her and I will be using her every time she’s available in the future!
Morgan took care of our two kittens for 2 weeks! It gave my husband and I so much peace of mind knowing that they were with her. She made sure they were well fed, clean, loved, and entertained while we were away. She was always very communicative and responsive. I could not recommend her enough.

Teagan took great care of our cat as always! His tail was so high up in the photos. You can tell he's always super happy to see Teagan. She was really observant and noticed his cat door had an issue and went out of her way to let us know. We really appreciate knowing he's well cared for while we're away!

Once again, Yifan was great with my cat Rhys! I appreciate her attention to detail and her thorough report cards! I enjoyed reading them each evening while away and seeing photos of Rhys. Thank you again Yifan for your thoughtful care of both Rhys and my place!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
