“Finding Margaret was a god send! We have a reactive dog who isn't always friendly and finding people who can handle a dog like that is not always easy. After searching through hundreds of Rover profiles I finally found Margaret and I'm so glad I did! We had a lovely phone chat about Max and his behaviors as well as the style of training/handling we prefer (she is familiar with and willing to work with all sorts of styles). After our chat we setup a meet and greet and Max did so well with her from the get go - not even a peep out of him when they met! He quickly bonded with her and was more than happy to work with her right off the bat. She even had him meet some of her dogs (which he handled well too!). It was clear Margaret knew exactly what she was doing and had the confidence to put Max (and me!) at ease. After the meet and greet we setup an overnight boarding session to really see how Max would do - and it went so well! Margaret was incredibly communicative and gave us updates as she slowly introduced Max to her other dogs, took him on walks, and just generally kept us informed how he was handling his new environment. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly everything went and I felt so comfortable knowing Max was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Margaret for any sort of "special needs" dogs in a heartbeat! Your dog is in safe and caring hands.”

“Pouneh is wonderful! From the beginning, she responded to my messages right away. We did an initial meet and greet at the local park. Nana immediately took to her and her daughters! I knew Nana would be happy and in good hands. Drop off and pick ups: I need to do an early drop off and it’s been super smooth. It’s easy to park in front and get Nana out safely and since we arranged that I send my ETA, Pouneh was already waiting outside ready to take her. Picking her up was also super easy. I texted ETA and she had everything ready with Nana. Again, parking was easy and available in front. Pouneh is very experienced and patient with dogs. She also has extra supplies like bowls, blankets, towels, leashes, etc., making it easier with less things to lug around. Nana looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up that first day and each day since. I am happy to recommend Pouneh to anyone for doggie care and I will for sure rebook whenever I need an extra hand. Lastly, props to Rover as well. This is a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always found great people here with sometimes short notice.”
About: We have a standard poodle Joki - who joined us in 2020 from a breeder. Joki is well trained and behave very well with other animals and people. I’m currently work from home so I am able to take care of pers all day during the day and provide multiple potty breaks as need. We have fenced front and back yard available for dogs to play and break. We can offer a fence if two dogs need to be kept separate.

I really appreciate their flexibility in the duration of the daycare as I offer ram my estimated time to pick up Lacey. Right from the start, Rudi socialized Lacey with Rex, his Labrador with a brief two-tether walk. Provided periodic updates, pictures included, letting me know all was going well and putting me at ease. While she was there, Lacey had plenty of playtime with Rex, and slept longer into the next morning than she had before. Also fed Lacey her dinner (since I ran late), and took Lacey on a nice walk. Overall a wonderful experience for Lacey, as well as for me, as this was our very first “Rover experience”. Definitely recommend, and I will rebook if/when the next trip to the area happens.”

About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while i’m home for the summer. I’m vegan, I live alone, and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule so I'm more than happy to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, daily walks, and make sure everything is taken care of. About: Firm yet loving care for all dogs, specializing in puppy training, high energy, hiking/running, and managing complex medical needs like seizures, food sensitivities, and limited mobility. Currently working from home with flexible time which allows me to integrate training, walks, play time, and medical monitoring throughout the day, while weekends are dedicated to long runs/walks and trail hikes. “Finding Margaret was a god send! We have a reactive dog who isn't always friendly and finding people who can handle a dog like that is not always easy. After searching through hundreds of Rover profiles I finally found Margaret and I'm so glad I did! We had a lovely phone chat about Max and his behaviors as well as the style of training/handling we prefer (she is familiar with and willing to work with all sorts of styles). After our chat we setup a meet and greet and Max did so well with her from the get go - not even a peep out of him when they met! He quickly bonded with her and was more than happy to work with her right off the bat. She even had him meet some of her dogs (which he handled well too!). It was clear Margaret knew exactly what she was doing and had the confidence to put Max (and me!) at ease. After the meet and greet we setup an overnight boarding session to really see how Max would do - and it went so well! Margaret was incredibly communicative and gave us updates as she slowly introduced Max to her other dogs, took him on walks, and just generally kept us informed how he was handling his new environment. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly everything went and I felt so comfortable knowing Max was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Margaret for any sort of "special needs" dogs in a heartbeat! Your dog is in safe and caring hands.”
