Information Julie Mae W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any reactivity, aggression, special needs, medication, or more. While I am knowledgeable in behavioral science, please understand behavior cannot be changed in one dog-sitting experience so I appreciate your honesty in explaining your needs. If at any point your pet requires special handling, additional fees may be requested.

A typical day

I love to get in a walk, exercise your pet, enrich them with open-ended or cognitive play, sit beside your pet on the couch, and spoil them as much as I spoil my own babies!

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Julie Mae! I'm a Doctoral Candidate and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a deep love for animals. As the owner of my own behavioral consulting firm, I work remotely in the field of behavior, allowing me both experience and the flexibility of spending quality time with your pet while I work from your home. I have three senior rescue dogs of my own, each with unique needs. One struggles with incontinence and wears diapers, another is reactive and animal aggressive, so I’m experienced in handling dogs that can't be around each other, and my third is a low-maintenance cuddle bear. With my background, I understand the importance of tailored care for every pet. What I Offer: House sitting with remote work companionship Dog walking Drop-in visits Special care for senior or reactive dogs Why Choose Me? Doctoral Candidate and Board Certified Behavior Analyst Experienced with special needs pets Flexible and reliable remote worker Dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment

We cannot say enough about Julie Mae. She takes such great care of our Munchi that we are just so relaxed going away, and that is such a gift. We also see how much Munchi loves Julie Mae. Thank you so much for showing Munchi such love and kindness.

Julie Mae is such a comfort and diligent sitter. She truly goes above and beyond with your fur baby. She understands how much they mean to you and has a keen sense of what pet your needs as well. Dexter loves her company so very much. Her communication is excellent with thorough updates and pics. You know your buddy is in caring hands. Thank you for always making Dexter and I feel taken care of, Julie Mae.

Julie Mae was so outstanding I was sad for Munchi when I came home, and Munchi might have been sad too because she spent the first night I was back walking around looking for Julie Mae. Julie Mae is very kind, perceptive, and caring. She also communicates well, and really removed any worries for me while I was gone. She even took Munchi on a picnic!
