About: I am new to Rover but I have been pet sitting for friends and through word of mouth for the last five years! It is always a joy for me! I am currently working part time so I have a lot of time to help others with pet care. I can travel to you and I can stay over night. I am able to stay with your pet and keep them company over night or just for a visit. I’m used to caring for dogs and cats!
“Had to ask Rachel last minute to look after my cat after a 7 hour flight delay. She responded quickly and was able to drop by immediately to take care of my cat! Great response time and glad I could rely on her in a pinch.”

“We loved having Nina and Leo watch our two kitties. Another sitter cancelled last-minute, and Nina and Leo got back to me immediately to confirm their availability and interest. They listened to all our house quirks and concerns with the cats and did everything just as asked the whole time we were away. Such peace of mind to have awesome, kind people watching your pets. They also sent pics and videos of the kitties, which was so great, because you always miss them so much! Thank you, Nina and Leo!”

“Emma did a fantastic job taking care of (and winning over) my spicy & wary of strangers cat. Very communicative and flexible. Will definitely be using her again- highly recommend!!”

“Samantha took great care of our cats and home while we were away. She arrived during the requested time frame and did everything we asked. Our cats were very happy upon our return home.”

“Great cat sitter, my Loki loves her. Very in tune with what he needed. Left apartment looking good, all of the cat stuff in good condition. Very responsive with great pictures of a very happy cat! Will not only hire again but will definitely recommend!”
“Ian was kind, communicative and emits such a warm personality. He was patient with Maxine and gave her all the cuddles. Plus he was very respectful of her and my home. I’d highly recommend him and book again in the future!”

About: I grew up in a family that always had lots of pets! At any given time in my childhood, we had at least one dog and two cats. In my teen years, I frequently cared for family-friends and neighbors pets while they were out-of-town. I am kind, attentive, caring, and active. I look forward to providing both you and your pet with the best services while you are out-of-town. I am comfortable working with both young and old animals and feel confident giving oral medications. I am more than happy to walk, run, or hike with your dog; go on drives; head to the dog park; or cuddle up with your pup. Of course, I only want to provide services for you and your pet that you are both comfortable with. Currently, I am the owner of a one playful cat (Lobo). We'd love to bring your pet into the mix and provide them with love, comfort, and entertainment while you're out of town. I work full-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Stanford, with a consistent weekday schedule. Outside of work, I love caring for pets and spend much of my free time doing so. I’m typically available mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I enjoy providing attentive, reliable care for pets as a fulfilling side passion alongside my career. I live in a pet-friendly 700 sq ft apartment complex walking distance to downtown Menlo Park! An easy jumping off point for local walks or trips to the park. I am also more than happy to bring my services to you/your pets home. Whatever keeps your furry friend most comfortable!

Our cat is always in such good hands with Teagan. It really puts us at ease knowing she's taking care of him when we're away. She also takes incredibly good photos and gives a nice report on how he's doing each day. We even used one of her photos on our holiday card this year! We can tell that our cat is relaxed and happy when she's around. Thanks again Teagan for all of your help!

Patrick was absolutely wonderful with my cats. From the start, he was incredibly attentive to my checklist, making sure everything was refilled and working perfectly. Even during holiday-season floods, he powered through without hesitation to show up for my cats—if that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. My cats have very different personalities, and one of them is quite shy. Patrick immediately understood her cues and approached her with patience and care. He made sure both of them got plenty of attention, playtime, love, and treats. What really stood out to me was his experience with cats of different temperaments and his natural respect for their boundaries. He also went the extra mile to leave my home spotless, sweeping the litter and vacuuming so it felt fresh and tidy when I returned. Every day, Patrick sent thoughtful updates that made me smile and gave me complete peace of mind. I can’t recommend Patrick highly enough—he’s trustworthy, hardworking, and truly caring. Any cat would be lucky to have him as their sitter.
Leaving your pets to go on a trip can be stressful, even more so if they have health conditions. However, rest assured that with Shannon, your pets will be in great hands. She was absolutely wonderful with out kitties! Not only she carefully followed all our instructions, she truly went above and beyond to keep our kitties comfortable and happy. Throughout our time away, she was in regular contact with us providing thoughtful updates and observations about our kitties, and of course lots of photos. She was also flexible with her time, for example when one of our kitties required extra attention. It was a great relief to know that our kitties are well taken care of, so we could enjoy our trip. I highly recommend Shannon and would not hesitate to hire her to look after our pets in the future.
