About: I’ve had the joy of owning and caring for both dogs and cats over the years, giving me hands on experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. With dogs, I have experience raising one since he was a puppy, so I’m familiar with the patience, consistency, and attention they need as they grow. I have experience with daily walks, maintaining feeding schedules, and keeping dogs safe during walks by being mindful of things like hot pavement with this summer weather. Additionally, I taught my dog fun tricks including “sit” and “paw,” which Im willing to teach if wanted. I have even more experience with cats, having cared for my own cat for over three years as well as multiple kittens and stray cats. Through this experience, I’ve learned to recognize their different personalities, respect their boundaries, and provide the care and affection they need to feel comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d give my own pets. About: I’ve had countless pets growing up, as my mom regularly rescues street dogs. We care for them until they get placed in shelters. I’ve been taught to handle all types of dogs from super energetic to calm dogs. I'm currently a senior at Menlo-Atherton High School. I'm always available on weekends. About: Besides working my morning job I love to take care pets. I used to pet care couple years and have helped my aunt with her 3 dogs that needed daily walks! I always took care of them as if they were my own! I also have experience with elderly dogs who needed more attention and needed to be given medication daily. I enjoy going outside long or short walks and it’s always great to have a walking partner! I have a one full time job, so this would be 8 hour shifts. I mostly work early in the morning. About: Hello! I’m Samaria and I am old to dog-sitting but new to Rover. I’ve loved dogs my whole life so I thought I’ve taken any opportunity to dogsit growing up. I’ve lived in Redwood City my whole life and have cared for my older sister’s four active dogs (three huskies and one terrier mix) whenever she’s out of town, for years (recently for 10 days straight?. I have taken them on walks, checked on the house and stayed overnight when there were fireworks to keep them calm. I’d love to give peace of mind to busy families and make a new fur friend. Kenzi was amazing with our cat! She was very communicative and detailed in every Rover report card, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our cat can be very aggressive with strangers and has even attacked previous nannies, but Kenzi was incredibly patient with her and also creative in distracting her while she cleaned the litter and took care of everything. By the end, our cat was trusting her enough to let her pet her sometimes, which is a HUGE deal! Kenzi was also punctual, respectful, and followed all our instructions perfectly.
