“Summer stayed with Dawn and Mel for about 1.5 months, and we’re so grateful we found them. They took such great care of her and made her feel right at home. We especially appreciated all the updates, photos, and videos—it really gave us peace of mind and we loved seeing how she was doing. She looked so happy and relaxed the entire time. You can tell they genuinely care. We’d absolutely trust them with Summer again and highly recommend them. 🐶❤️”

“This is the third time Kelly and Ben have taken care of Nia during our annual visits to Palo Alto. Nia is right at home with both of them and can’t wait to get to their apartment when we drop her off. She loves her walks on campus and Kelly sends fun pics. We know Nia will be happy there and Kelly and Ben will take good care of her.”

About: I currently am a dog mom to a 12-year-old toy poodle, Pingu. He's very energetic and I would love to have him make more furry friends. Dogs must all be updated with their rabies and flea medications. I will not accept more than 3 dogs each time (with an exception for dogs from the same household) to make sure each dog will be getting the care and attention they deserve. I take the dogs out at least 3 times a day. Morning, Late Afternoon, Before bed. Feel free to ask me any questions. I am looking forward to meet your pups :) I work from home and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, so I will have lots of time to spend with your fur baby. Your fur baby will be able to roam around and play as they please in the yard. I live in a single family house with a side yard where my dog often plays. My neighborhood is a dog loving community so your fur baby will have the opportunity to meet other dogs as well. I stay home most of the time and I make sure your dog will be on leash whenever we leave the house.
“Olga was wonderful sitting our dog 27 lb. dog Ozzie. She set lots of photos and videos of him having a terrific time playing with the other dogs, walking along the street, and napping on her couch. He seems to have had a wonderful time during his 3-day stay and I would absolutely recommend Olga as a boarder to anyone.”

“Lihuan id a great job, kept me updated with pictures and videos daily, followed instructions. Was timely with pickup and drop of. I would definitely trust Annie to Lihuan again! Thank you :)”

“I had an pawsome experience with Ruo during Tyler’s stay. She kept me updated with walks, Tyler’s mood and pictures after initial meet and greet. She shows great care for my son. “Kingston had a great time and was very much cared for! Lia sent many videos and pictures and was flexible with pick up and drop off times. Would definitely use her in the future!”

“Na sent photos of our dogs every day. She has a home in a quiet neighborhood with a yard and played ball with one of our hyper dogs every day. She provided nice little beds for them to sleep in and sent photos every day. I felt very comfortable leaving them with Na!”

“Nina and Leo took great care of our greyhound/Great Pyrenees mix. They were great about updating us everyday on how he was doing (walks, bm’s, etc). They were very thorough in understanding his schedule and needs.”

About: Local to Menlo Oaks, I’ve grown up with my cute beagle, Bean, and would love to help take care of yours as well! I've just graduated from my Masters and I'm currently WFH, so I'm super flexible and can easily work around your schedule! For boarding, I live in a house with a large front and back yard which is perfect for long bouts of fetch and endless sniffing. I'm comfortable with all kinds of dogs and all their needs! I'm currently in between jobs so I can dedicate all my time to your pup and make sure they're always having fun and feeling their best. I am super detail oriented, careful, but also friendly, so I’ll make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for whenever I come around.

“Taylor was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! She kept us updated with multiple messages and adorable pictures throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication with her was effortless, and it was clear how much she truly cared for our pup. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

“Another awesome stay with Jie (and Chow Chow)! I always feel reassured that Hana will receive great care when we are away. Jie sends multiple updates and photos every day which is much appreciated. She is the best!”

“The best pet sitter ever! There was an unexpected situation during the stay, but they handled it right away and kept me updated. I really appreciate their quick response and genuine care.”

“Our dog had a great time with Michael & Evie! We actually think he misses them :) They always updates us and send us photos of Kaido without us asking for it. We are really glad we left Kaido with them. Definitely won't be the last time! Thank you again Michael & Evie for taking such good care of our gentle giant 💜”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palo Alto
Farah and Tommy did a fantastic job taking care of our Chiweenie, Miso, on short notice this weekend. We were incredibly busy, and it was such a relief knowing she was in good hands. They provided excellent communication throughout her stay, sending regular updates and checking in about her quirks to ensure everything was normal. Miso clearly received plenty of quality attention and affection. We will definitely book with them again and highly recommend their services. Thank you both!

Ying was absolutely amazing! She was able to help me last minute when another sitter fell through. She was very communicative with morning, midday, and evening updates which I loved. And lots of videos and pics! I know Roscoe loved being in her home as he had friends to play with and cozy spots to curl up in the sun. Thank you again!

We had a very busy weekend where our Chaweenie, Miso, would have had to be alone for large stretches, or travel non-stop in a car all day. So we decided to find a "surrogate family" for the weekend. Shobi, her husband, and girls took great care of her. When I picked her up, she seemed relaxed and happy. We will for sure book more stays with Shobi and her lovely family!

Angela and Kangwoong were amazing hosts for my dog Arisha. Arisha is a very shy dog but she felt at home staying at their place. I don't know if it's common but she was the only dog during her stay which made the stay extra special. Angela sent me 2 pictures a day as updates about the stay. I am ashamed to say it but I feel like Arisha was treated better than I am able to do at home... I would be extremely comfortable with and would love having Angela host Arisha again in the future.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
