“Marivel & Alvaro took care of my small dog for 10 days. I was nervous in the beginning but they were very patient with me describing my dog’s behavior and needs to them. They took very good care of her, she made new friends and we will definitely use their services again 😊”

“Manli is incredibly kind and truly cared for our dog. She took him on long walks and gave him so much love and attention. He seemed really happy and content when we picked him up. We’re so grateful!!”

“Jesse & Kimmy went above and beyond taking care of my high energy dog ❤️. They made sure to understand his needs and I got multiple updates/pictures and videos while I was away! I also got the cutest Polaroid of him as a parting gift! Many thanks !”

“WOW, Rachel was an absolutely incredible sitter for my cat Mowgli! She knew how nervous I was to leave him, and was so kind and emotionally attuned. She sent me photos and videos every day that not only helped me feel more secure, but also gave us the opportunity to connect on how he was and how she could help him to feel more comfortable. By the end, it seemed like he didn't want to leave! Rachel is an absolute gem and 10/10 would book with her again.”

“Summer stayed with Dawn and Mel for about 1.5 months, and we’re so grateful we found them. They took such great care of her and made her feel right at home. We especially appreciated all the updates, photos, and videos—it really gave us peace of mind and we loved seeing how she was doing. She looked so happy and relaxed the entire time. You can tell they genuinely care. We’d absolutely trust them with Summer again and highly recommend them. 🐶❤️”

“I am so thankful to have found Lucy and her family to take care of Snowball! Lucy and her girls met with us beforehand to make sure Snowball would feel comfortable staying with them. They showered him with lots of affection! From the pictures she sent, I could see that Snowball gets a lot of hugs, head massages and cuddles from the family! Lucy sent a lot of updates and photos of Snowball everyday and he is very happy in all of them! I would trust them to watch Snowball anytime! Thanks Lucy and family!!”

“Jie did a wonderful job watching our dog, Charlie, while we were out of town for five days. She sent lots of pictures and video which we appreciated. She also was very responsive. We look forward to having Charlie stay with Jie again soon!”

“Lia was wonderful in taking care of Belle for a week. This was the first time for Belle to be away from us. Lia made us comfortable by sending videos every day and keep in constant communication with the entire time. Lia’s Gigi was a great friend to Belle and they had a wonderful time. I would definitely ask Lia to dog sit in the future.”

“Fang took great care of our dog Aspen during her weekend stay. She is very responsive and flexible and sent many updates with pictures and videos during her stay. Thank you so much for taking great care of our pup! Will definitely book again in the future 😊”

“Margaret is a true dog person and I felt at ease leaving my girl in her care. She does an excellent job of managing her pack and making sure all dogs are safe and comfortable. My dog is ~80 lbs and has her quirks, so I can't leave her in the hands of just anyone. I am so glad to have found a home environment that my dog is comfortable in while I am out of town and will certainly book with Margaret again.”

“Thor had a wonderful time with Noshin! She sent many pictures of him at the park and cuddled up on the couch. When I picked him up, he was clearly quite comfortable at her place. I’d highly recommend her!”

“We asked Siobhan and Guillermo to watch out two dogs for a weekend. This was the first time away from home for one of our dogs since her adoption. They both did well. Right after arrival at their house, my dogs started to enjoy the scent of different dogs in their fenced yard under the redwood trees. It was like going to a dog park and socializing with different dogs. At pick up time, we asked Siobhan and Guillermo if they can care for them again on our next trip away from home.”

“Mel and his family took excellent care of our pup. From daily walks and lots of time playing outside to introducing him to other kids, it was clear he was getting plenty of attention and socialization. Mel was also incredibly communicative, sending prompt updates along with great pictures and videos throughout the stay. It made us feel completely at ease knowing our pup was in such good hands. We’d absolutely recommend Mel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Palo Alto
We had a very busy weekend where our Chaweenie, Miso, would have had to be alone for large stretches, or travel non-stop in a car all day. So we decided to find a "surrogate family" for the weekend. Shobi, her husband, and girls took great care of her. When I picked her up, she seemed relaxed and happy. We will for sure book more stays with Shobi and her lovely family!

Ying provided a fantastic boarding experience for 16 days for my dog. She took my dog for at least two walks per day, played fetch with her every day, and also took her on a longer hike. She sent me extensive updates three times per day with numerous photos and videos. The detailed information allowed me to see that my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Ying’s dog Charlie is also incredibly gentle and calm, and although my dog is often anxious around other dogs, they became great friends. While I was away, my dog also developed some irritation in her paws, likely due to pre-existing allergies. Ying informed me promptly and treated the problem effectively per my instructions, and her paws were completely healed by the time I returned to pick her up. I highly recommend Ying for boarding and I won’t hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.

This is the third time Kelly and Ben have taken care of Nia during our annual visits to Palo Alto. Nia is right at home with both of them and can’t wait to get to their apartment when we drop her off. She loves her walks on campus and Kelly sends fun pics. We know Nia will be happy there and Kelly and Ben will take good care of her.

Emma is great! She has watched Kovu several times now. Emma sends updates and photos so you know your pup is in good hands. Her dog is very friendly and Kovu enjoys staying there. Emma also doesn’t watch multiple dogs at once so your dog doesn’t feel overwhelmed. I love that she has a yard too that they can play in. Emma is flexible and reliable!
