About: I’m a full-time stay-at-home dog owner, so your dog will always have company, care, and attention throughout the day — never left alone. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making them feel safe and relaxed, just like they are at home. I have experience with medium and large breeds, including my friendly and well-socialized German Shepherd mix. My goal is simple: to provide a peaceful, loving environment where your dog can feel happy, secure, and truly cared for. I stay home most of the day, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Dogs receive around-the-click supervision. - A typical day includes a morning walk, outdoor playtime or neighborhood walks in the afternoon or evening. Dogs also have plenty of time to relax indoors in a calm and safe home environment. - I can maintain each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and rest time. My friendly German Shepherd mix also enjoys having playmates, so visiting dogs often get both companionship and exercise. I definitely make sure your dogs receive plenty of care and attention. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home where dogs are always supervised. Because I stay home most of the day, pets will never left alone and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care. My home also has a secure fenced yard, which allows dogs to enjoy safe outdoor playtime and fresh air throughout the day. I always supervise outdoor time to ensure dogs remain safe and comfortable. My friendly German Shepherd mix enjoys having playmates, and I carefully monitor all interactions to ensure safe and positive play. Dogs also have comfortable indoor spaces to rest and relax. I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, crate routines, medication if needed, and any special preferences. I send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay.

“My not-yet 4mo-old puppy couldn't stay home alone one evening, and I was so lucky to find Tillana! She understands puppies and their needs. My pup was scared of many other dogs, so she got a soft intro to some of Tillana’s regulars, and ended up really enjoying being part of a pack. i saw the happiest grin on baby Ember’s face from when she was there. I’m so relieved to have found Tillana and to know that Ember has a safe place to go when needed (or just when she needs a playdate!).:)”

“Kristal is the best! She is flexible and open to my crazy work schedule! She is full of knowledge regarding dogs and assisted me with care regarding my dog! I am grateful to her and looking forward to using her services again!”

About: We live in the Green Gables area of Palo Alto in a large single family home. We have the world's friendliest 9-year old female yellow lab, Daizy, and a fenced in back yard. We take multiple walks per day in the neighborhood and if desired, we can go to nearby off leash areas as well. We're on Rover mainly because of our love of dogs and so our kids will have a part-time job. They will send you photo updates 2X a day. Free daily face time upon request and unlimited play time with Daizy. Your dog's exclusive care team consists of me (I work from home), my seventeen year old son Ryan (feeder and poop collector) and my fifteen year old son, Brandon (photographer and hugger), both are straight A students at Palo Alto HS. My wife Wendy is a realtor and works from home; she will pitch in with a complementary brushing, general supervision, and lots of kisses. Daizy will be the chief exercise and play partner with as much running around in the back yard as your dog desires. I love dogs and have had dogs in my life since the 1980s and worked at a pet store in high school. While I will be supervising your pup during the entire stay, most the actual work will be performed by Ryan and Brandon so most of the money goes to them which they use for toys, going out with friends, and excursions. Our dog Daizy is a very happy dog she is always wiling to play and have fun. If she ever gets threatened she will submit and avoid conflict. We also have central air conditioning. The dog can sleep with Ryan and Daizy in Ryan's or Brandon's room. Routine is morning feed, morning bathroom break, lunch, lunch play time, afternoon exercise walk, and evening chillaxing on the couch listening to relaxing acoustic music or watching a movie together. We only host one dog at a time so your doggo will get tons of VIP treatment like royalty. On the last day before pickup, we'll give your pooch a final brushing followed by a nice refreshing wipe down using hypoallergenic wet wipes infused with oatmeal, aloe vera, and baking soda. We already do a similar routine for Daizy so your dog will fit in nicely into our typical schedule. Depending on your preference, we can also shorten or lengthen neighborhood walks. Fenced in yard, Ring cameras indoor and outdoor with alarms and fire, carbon monoxide, and burglar professional 24/7 monitoring. Central air conditioning and central heating.

About: With nearly three decades as a devoted dog mom, I understand that every dog is unique with their own personality, needs, and quirks. My 29 years of hands-on experience means I've cared for dogs through every life stage - from energetic puppies learning their first commands to gentle seniors needing extra comfort and patience. I've developed a keen eye for reading canine body language and behavior, helping anxious dogs feel secure and keeping active pups properly exercised and mentally stimulated. What truly sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs combined with the wisdom that only comes from years of dedicated pet parenthood. Your furry family member won't just be watched - they'll be loved, understood, and cared for as if they were my own. As a fitness instructor working about 10 hours per week, I have an incredibly flexible schedule that's perfect for pet care. The majority of my time is spent working from home, which means I'm available throughout the day to provide attention, playtime, and companionship. My fitness background also means I understand the importance of regular exercise - both for myself and the dogs in my care. I naturally incorporate dog walks and active play into my daily routine, often timing outdoor activities around my own workout schedule. This ensures your pup gets plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. Since I work from home, dogs are never left alone for extended periods. They become part of my daily routine - morning walks before I start work, midday play sessions and potty breaks, and evening walks or park visits. My schedule easily adapts to each dog's specific needs, whether that's multiple short walks for a senior dog or high-energy play sessions for younger pups. The combination of my flexible schedule, active lifestyle, and home-based work creates the perfect environment for providing consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I have a large, securely gated backyard with direct access to a nearby park for walks and extended playtime. Dogs stay inside my home and sleep indoors for safety and comfort - no garage or outdoor sleeping. During the day when I'm home, they have free access to move between inside and outside as they please. I maintain their regular feeding schedule and any special dietary requirements, provide fresh water at all times, and ensure they get appropriate exercise based on their age and energy level. I follow all medication schedules and special care instructions exactly as provided. For anxious or senior dogs, I offer extra comfort and patience, while energetic pups get plenty of mental stimulation and play. I send regular photo and text updates so you know your furry family member is happy and well-cared for. My goal is to maintain your dog's routine as closely as possible while showering them with the love and attention they deserve. Safety is always my top priority - secure fencing, pet-proofed spaces, and constant supervision when needed.
East Palo Alto dog parents share their Rover experiences
Boba had a wonderful time at daycare and made some great doggy friends. Manli is a very caring and attentive dog sitter who clearly loves what she does. We felt very comfortable leaving Boba in her care. We will definitely come back again the next time we need a sitter!

Sjofn is always excited to get to see Guilherme! I’m always thrilled to know she is safe and happy. Guilherme is also great about communicating before and during her stay so I know exactly when to expect him and he’s great about picking her up to. To put my mind at ease he sends plenty of pictures of her having a good time. I admit as a service dog she can be a bit nervous about being left with other people but she is never nervous about staying with Guilherme and Edina. I highly recommend him for any care your pet needs

Ali was amazing and took excellent care of our dog, Pepper. He was very patient, attentive, and clearly experienced, which gave us great peace of mind. Ali kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was obvious that Pepper felt comfortable and happy in his care. We truly appreciated his reliability and kindness, and we would absolutely trust him again and highly recommend him

For the past three years, Max has been a regular at Olga’s doggie day care, and we couldn’t imagine a better place for him. Olga doesn’t just provide care—she creates a second home, a sanctuary, for our beloved four-legged family members. Her dedication is unmatched: multiple daily walks, endless playtime, and a nurturing environment that leaves Max beaming with joy every single time he comes home. Earlier this year, when a fire forced us into a hotel with barely a moment’s notice, Olga stepped in without hesitation. She welcomed Max into her home for nearly two weeks, giving us peace of mind during a chaotic time. Her compassion, flexibility, and unwavering professionalism were nothing short of extraordinary. Olga’s love for dogs is deep, genuine, and all-encompassing. If you’re searching for a place where your pet will be safe, cherished, and truly happy—stop looking. Olga is the gold standard. She’s not just a caregiver; she’s family.
