About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 7 years, with hundreds of hours of hands-on pet sitting experience, fostering, and daily life with my own pets. Sharing the home with two dogs: Teddy, and Cashmere, and two cats, Kiwi and NienHoo, so caring for multiple pets with different personalities comes naturally to me. Work remotely from home, which means your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Dogs in care are never left alone for long periods and settle into a relaxed, home-style routine. I focus on providing a calm, peaceful environment, not a kennel setting. Dogs are treated like family enjoying walks, playtime, naps, and quiet time. Do best with calm, well-mannered dogs who are comfortable sharing space and not prone to resource guarding, which helps maintain a safe and stress-free home. The home is set up for comfort and calm providing extra dog beds in multiple areas, cozy resting spots, and a variety of toys and enrichment items to keep dogs comfortable and engaged. Dogs are free to relax, play, nap, and move around at their own pace. I’ve also fostered dogs and participated in therapy dog volunteer services, which has strengthened our gentle, patient approach, especially for dogs who need reassurance when adjusting to a new environment. Because I work remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into daily routine and being always home, allowing for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Fortunate to have plenty of grassy areas and walking paths near my residence, making outdoor time easy and enjoyable. The schedule is structured but flexible, adjusting to each dog’s energy level and normal routine. Available on weekdays and weekends, can accommodate extended stays, and aim to support last-minute bookings when possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, calm, and well-supervised, and dogs are never left unattended. I follow each pet’s routine closely and introduce dogs thoughtfully to maintain a peaceful environment. I take dogs out for frequent potty breaks and daily walks, always with safety in mind. I can crate if requested, but most dogs relax freely indoors with cozy spaces to rest. To help you feel confident and connected, I provide daily photo and video updates, and I'm always happy to send additional photos, videos, or text updates on demand. You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I also require a meet & greet prior to boarding to ensure we’re a great fit and that your dog feels comfortable in my home.

“I'm so glad to have found Minori. She is responsive, thorough with the initial intake, and very caring towards Lea. This was our second time having Lea over and she was already excited to be there during drop off.”

“Susanne was great with our dogs. This was our first time with doggie day care. Susanne made us all feel reassured and comfortable. She is incredibly attentive and conscientious. We got many messages from her throughout the day. The pups seemed happy and content when we came to get them.”

“Chelsea is fabulous. Rei had a wonderful stay. I truly appreciated all of the updates and photos. Highly recommended and I will definitely be reaching back out for a future stay. It was great peace of mind, knowing Rei was in such good hands.”

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a UC Berkeley grad and licensed veterinary technician who works in emergency and critical care. I've worked and cared for dogs and cats (and certain exotics/pocket pets) almost my entire life! Compassion, reading your pet's body language, and respecting your care instructions are of the upmost importance to me! For walks, big and small dogs are welcome! I am experienced with reactive pups and am comfortable doing structured walks as well to help reinforce any training you and your dog have been working on. I am very vigilant on walks and will ensure your pup's safety and comfort. You will always receive a very detailed report card from me and cute pictures! For drop-in visits, respect for your home and your pet and are top priority! I follow instructions very closely and welcome any information you have about your fur baby that can make their time with me the most fun and efficient. For doggy daycare, we have a secured fenced yard for supervised playtime. We have a doggy gate in case any of the pups need to decompress but your dog will always have the large kitchen/living room space. We have two ~40lb dogs that will be slowly introduced with your pup and our home will only have 4 dogs maximum at one time. I'm very comfortable giving oral and injectable medications/ fluids if necessary. Please reach out for medical drop-ins for my rates! Any questions? Want to set up a meet and greet? Send a message! I am working per Diem at the moment and otherwise spend my time working remotely! For house sitting, I will be with your pet for the majority of the day :) I am very detail oriented and not afraid of communication! It is important to me that you trust your baby is in good hands as well as my respect for your own pet’s personal boundaries.

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! Time availabilities: I am available for daycare drop offs 7-9am and daycare pick ups 6-9pm I am available for boarding drop offs starting at 9am and pick ups ending by 9pm. Examples from my experience/Pets I've had the privilege of caring for: 1. We also have a dog washing station at home and I can provide baths for an additional small fee.
“Barbara was really great! Bella stayed with her for daycare today and she was awesome with her. She was very communicative and sent lots of pics to keep me updated. She even offered a meet and greet beforehand. Since the pup is such a senior and has special needs, it’s a relief to find someone who is so attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend booking with her.”

About: **Pet care experience** I’ve been around animals practically my whole life — I got my first cat when I was 5 years old, and I’ve loved caring for pets ever since. For the past 3 years, I’ve been a dedicated dog owner, giving me hands-on experience with daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of love and patience. What sets me apart is my real-world experience growing up with pets of different personalities and needs. I understand how to read animal behavior, create a calm environment, and build trust, whether it’s with a shy cat or an energetic pup. I’m comfortable with basic training, maintaining routines, and providing attentive care to keep pets happy and relaxed while you’re away. Your pets will be treated like my own — with kindness, consistency, and lots of affection. Let me know how I can help make their time with me safe and enjoyable! I work from home, and I take my dog on at least 40 minutes walks twice per day (in the morning and in the evening). **Safety, trust & environment** I always prioritize a safe and comfortable experience for every pet. In my home or yours, I make sure pets have a clean space, fresh water, and a consistent routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s habits, favorite activities, and any special instructions, so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive on walks, keeping pets leashed and away from hazards, and I always double-check doors, gates, and feeding schedules. Communication matters to me — I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. My goal is to provide a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can relax, play, and feel safe until you return.

Redwood City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chris took care of Camilo today and we had a really positive experience. He was kind, attentive, and followed all of our guidance carefully. He also kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind, especially since Camilo can be sensitive when we are not around. He took Camilo to the park and on a long walk, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy. Communication was smooth, he was respectful of our routine, and very easy to coordinate with. We would absolutely trust Chris with Camilo again and highly recommend him to other pet parents looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and caring.

Keli and Greg are wonderful sitters and Brisket always has a great time with them. We had a last minute schedule change this week and needed an additional day of daycare, and we are so grateful for their flexibility and ability to accommodate. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup!!!

Brisket had a great day with Barbara and Quillo. She was super responsive and we really appreciated having a meet and greet before booking to make sure the dogs got along. She kept us updated with photos throughout the day and we knew that Brisky was in good hands. We will absolutely book with her again!

I felt very good leaving Kody in Yi and her husband’s warm and capable care. My anxious pup was quickly put at ease and settled in. Yi sent lots of photo updates and Kody seemed to be having a great time - playing, getting belly rubs, going on multiple walks, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Yi.

Abigail was great! She was communicative and caring for my dog. She has a nice backyard for the dogs to play and run around and even took my dog for a walk which was an added bonus. My dog can be shy and take a while to warm up, not with Abigail! She was caring and playful off the bat which my dog loved.

Louisa was great! I had the feeling right away that Bear would be in good hands. From the human point of view, she is poised and responsible, very nice and easy to work with. From Bear's point of view, she is amazing and I never want to leave her side. If he had to choose, I'm pretty sure Bear would happily spend the rest of his life living in a dorm on a college campus with Louisa and her friends. Luckily, he's kind of fickle and he has a very short memory, so, after he watched her leave he hopped in the car and came home for dinner.
