About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 7 years, with hundreds of hours of hands-on pet sitting experience, fostering, and daily life with my own pets. Sharing the home with two dogs: Teddy, and Cashmere, and two cats, Kiwi and NienHoo, so caring for multiple pets with different personalities comes naturally to me. Work remotely from home, which means your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. I’ve also fostered dogs and participated in therapy dog volunteer services, which has strengthened our gentle, patient approach, especially for dogs who need reassurance when adjusting to a new environment. Because I work remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into daily routine and being always home, allowing for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Fortunate to have plenty of grassy areas and walking paths near my residence, making outdoor time easy and enjoyable. The schedule is structured but flexible, adjusting to each dog’s energy level and normal routine. Available on weekdays and weekends, can accommodate extended stays, and aim to support last-minute bookings when possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, calm, and well-supervised, and dogs are never left unattended. I follow each pet’s routine closely and introduce dogs thoughtfully to maintain a peaceful environment. I take dogs out for frequent potty breaks and daily walks, always with safety in mind. I can crate if requested, but most dogs relax freely indoors with cozy spaces to rest. To help you feel confident and connected, I provide daily photo and video updates, and I'm always happy to send additional photos, videos, or text updates on demand. You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I also require a meet & greet prior to boarding to ensure we’re a great fit and that your dog feels comfortable in my home.

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a UC Berkeley grad and licensed veterinary technician who works in emergency and critical care. I've worked and cared for dogs and cats (and certain exotics/pocket pets) almost my entire life! Compassion, reading your pet's body language, and respecting your care instructions are of the upmost importance to me! For walks, big and small dogs are welcome! I am experienced with reactive pups and am comfortable doing structured walks as well to help reinforce any training you and your dog have been working on. I am very vigilant on walks and will ensure your pup's safety and comfort. You will always receive a very detailed report card from me and cute pictures! For drop-in visits, respect for your home and your pet and are top priority! I follow instructions very closely and welcome any information you have about your fur baby that can make their time with me the most fun and efficient. For doggy daycare, we have a secured fenced yard for supervised playtime. We have a doggy gate in case any of the pups need to decompress but your dog will always have the large kitchen/living room space. We have two ~40lb dogs that will be slowly introduced with your pup and our home will only have 4 dogs maximum at one time. My elderly and diasbled cat needs a calm environment where she feels safe and is not able to quickly run away or climb up if needed. Examples from my experience/Pets I've had the privilege of caring for: 1. I've taken care of an Australian Shepard mix who developed a neurological disease and wasn't able to walk on his own for over a year. I learnt how to support him to go to the bathroom and still live a meaningful life. 2. Took care of a 15 year old cat with renal failure, doing daily under-skin fluid injections and managing water intake and increased urination. 3. Cared for 16 year-old deaf and blind Border collie, with mild senile dementia. 4. I currenty have have an energetic Australian Kelpie with social anxiety and have experience dealing with "COVID dogs" or dogs who haven't been socialized a lot and may need some extra attention or are nervous around other people and dogs. 5. I worked as a permaculture consultant for 8 months, taking care of 12 chickens and 5 goats for a bay area homestead. I have expertise in providing correct food, and protein supplements for chickens health as well as prevent and spot issues with parasites. I work from home in the Bay Area, and I am available for dog boarding at my home and house sitting and taking care of your pets at your home. I can board pets at our home, which has a fairly large backyard (about 7,000sq ft) with mature trees and shaded areas. My home is calm and quiet—perfect for dogs who need a relaxed atmosphere. I maintain consistent routines and supervise all interactions between pets to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Pets can stay inside, sleep on one two large confy dog beds, or on our couch / armchairs (unless you prefer they don't learn that behavior- please let me know). We live in a really nice and walkable residential neighbourhood perfect for small and extra long walks in a safe environement. We also have a dog washing station at home and I can provide baths for an additional small fee.
