“I can’t recommend Sarah enough as a dog sitter. My dog, Teddy, absolutely loves staying with her—he gets genuinely excited every time he realizes he’s going back, which says everything. What I appreciate most is how incredibly detailed and consistent her updates are. Every day, she sends multiple photos and videos—Teddy eating, playing, going on walks, and even updates on how he’s doing overall. She keeps me fully informed, down to small but important details, so I never have to wonder how he’s doing. It gives me real peace of mind knowing exactly how his day is going. It’s also clear that she truly cares about the dogs she looks after. She takes Teddy on walks, to the dog park, and even on hikes, making sure he stays active and happy. On top of that, her home environment is wonderful—her two dogs and her cat are all very friendly, and Teddy gets along great with them. He’s not just being watched; he’s having a great time. Whenever Teddy stays with Sarah, I know he’s safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy. I fully trust her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“Alissa was very attentive to Percy and kept us updated throughout the stay. Percy was acting a bit out of character when he first came to visit and was barking a lot. Alissa took many steps to manage his unusual behavior and kept me updated along the way. I was very appreciative that she was patient with him. He was very comfortable and happy with Alissa and I would definitely recommend her.”

“Pouneh is a wonderful dog sitter. You can tell she truly loves her job and the pups she cares for. She was an excellent communicator with us as well. We are grateful to have found her and will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“We left our Dog(Riley) with Karla twice now and she took great care of her!! She is awesome with her communication and was very responsive when we had any questions or needed any updates. Since Riley has some allergies, she took extra care and gollowed all our instructions for fo followed all given instructions with great detail. When your lil pup is with Karla you can be sure”

“Nina and Leo did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. This was our first time using Rover and boarding our rescue, who is sensitive, anxious, and can be reactive towards other dogs during walks and meeting new people. They were great in providing daily updates on how our dog was doing, and the daily pictures eased our concerns during our trip. After the first update, we weren’t nervous anymore knowing that our dog was in the best care. They followed our care instructions well and we were happy to see our shy rescue quickly adapt to his temporary environment. Thank you Nina and Leo!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“It was Charlie's first experience boarding and Jifu did a great job. Charlie got a long great with Joki and seemed to spend the days playing and having fun. Everything went well and Charlie came home happy and healthy. Thanks!”

“Deborah did a fantastic job caring for my little guy, Boba. As it's my first time using Rover, she shared consistent updates with photos/videos, which put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond, took him on walks/parks, and made Boba feel well cared for and happy. Boba had the time of his life under Deborah's care.”

“Ruo was an amazing dog sitter for my little pup! She had him for 5 days while we were away and I could tell he was super happy and well loved. She was great about keeping me updated on his day and sending pictures which I really appreciated. Honestly I think she is the best sitter we have ever had! Highly recommend and we will absolutely use her again.”

“This was Yogi’s first time away from home, and Cynthia made sure he was well cared for. She sent us lots of updates (which we requested) and Yogi looked so happy the whole time. We weren’t sure how he’d do since we only adopted him a few months ago, but he seemed to have such a great time! Would book again!”

“Thank you for taking lycan last min . Nichole was very sweet we did a meet and greet which was great brought me to peace knowing my pet was in good care . She did keep me updated with videos of my sweet boy. Definitely will be coming back with her . Thank you”

About: I have one French Bulldog, ZaZa who is three and a tiny poodle mix, Blake, who is 2.5! Blake has lived with me throughout most of my college experience ever since he was 2 weeks old. I trained him by myself while also taking care of zaza from time to time! I just graduated from UC Berkeley, and I am currently looking for a part time job, but as of now I am completely free to focus on caring for doggos! I also have my dog Blake at home with me, so I am open to fit with your schedule. Blake is an energetic dog, so I like to take him out on 3-5 walks everyday. I also take him to the dog park once a week to help release his energy and interact with other dogs. I have plenty of toys at home, and training treats! Since Blake is a poodle, and he has long curly hair, I have a grooming kit at home as well that we use once every two weeks!
“Katie and Jason are super star dog sitters! My senior dog, Abby, was very comfortable with them. I loved getting all the updates. Katie was really responsive on text and kept to Abby’s schedule and routines. I am so thankful we found them!”

“We keep coming back to Sally because of her great care of Luna. She’s so thoughtful, keeps us in the loop of how our dog is doing and sends us lots of photos. We were nervous about her first overnight stay but felt really assured with all the updates. Luna is so happy to see Sally! She runs to greet her and Nori is super chill and patient.”

“Susanne was a wonderful dog-sitter. She cared for our pup for 13 days in June 2024. From our first interaction--the "meet and greet"--she was organized and professional. She was then caring for another dog, whom she kept out of the house while we were there. I was impressed that when that dog needed attention, she immediately excused herself and spent time caring for that dog. She was detail-oriented, thorough, and most, importantly, very caring and warm toward our dog. She catered to his needs, giving him medication, walking him, feeding him, and supervised him carefully and caringly. My only hesitation in giving her a superlative recommendation, is that it will make it less likely that she will be available when we need her again. But, in all fairness, she deserves the highest praise.”

“Aria loved his stay with Chelsea. She provided multiple updates and photos a day and he got very comfortable while with her. She treated him as her own which is all you can ask for in a sitter”

“Yi was a wonderful host for our 9 year old dog who has special needs when it comes to reactivity around other dogs. She was prompt with communication both setting up the booking and sending us photo updates. I would definitely trust Yi for a future booking!”

“Micaela is the best. She just had my little sweetheart for 6 days and was amazing. She updated me and sent pictures that made me feel so comfortable while I was traveling. I will definitely be calling her again and again! Thank you so much for going above and beyond and helping me out Micaela!”

Sein was so sweet taking out Kobe on with very short notice after out other sitter had to cancel. Kobe had a great time and they were so patient about him being slow to warm up and a picky eater, even offering him fancy toppers. We were definitely a little anxious having to leave him on such short notice but were quickly reassured by the photos and videos Sein sent every day. They clearly have a lot of experience with shy dogs and rescues! Thank you!!!

Our dog had a great time w/ Alissa! She got the right amount of rest & walk. I can tell b/c my dog is focused & was ready to do her exercises. Alissa was amazing from my initial contact. She got back to me right away. Not only did she ask questions, but we had conversations before I even dropped off my dog. I got an update before I even got to work which was only 4 miles away. Her updates were timely as I am used to seeing my dog on a camera, so I felt like I knew what they were always doing. When I went to pick her up I got a recap of the day so i can prepare for our future visits. Alissa is extremely professional & was on top of all my pup’s needs for the day.

Karla watched Ginger, our nervous and shy chihuahua mix, for 10 days while we were in Korea. Our original plan with relatives fell through last minute, so we were relieved to find someone trustworthy so close by. Karla understood Ginger's personality and gave her the attention she needed, and she has a nice side yard where Ginger could sunbathe and explore during the day. She sent us photos throughout the trip to let us know Ginger was doing well, and she was easy to communicate with and flexible. In the end, we came home to a happy, healthy dog, which says it all. 5 stars, would absolutely book again.
If I could have Christoph and Emily watch Gizmo every time I'm away, I would!! It's a very tangible feeling of relief you get when you have your pet sitter proactively reaching out to you with photos/videos of your pet on their own mini holiday whilst you're half way across the globe. My partner and I found ourselves looking forward to our daily updates and considered if our Gizmo even missed us while we were gone for two weeks 😭😭. By the time they dropped him off, Gizmo almost jumped back on their car!!! Both Christoph and Emily have always been really thoughtful when it comes to understanding Gizmo's needs, handling his reactivity, and other special quirks. They make pet sitting effortless which allowed us to focus on our own trip without worrying. Thanks again!

We can't say enough good things about Keli! She is so genuinely caring and always keeps us wonderfully updated while we're away. The absolute best part is seeing how happy and relaxed our dog is with her—it’s clear she feels right at home. Thank you, Keli, for being so incredibly attentive. We will absolutely be using her services again and again!
We asked Siobhan and Guillermo to watch out two dogs for a weekend. This was the first time away from home for one of our dogs since her adoption. They both did well. Right after arrival at their house, my dogs started to enjoy the scent of different dogs in their fenced yard under the redwood trees. It was like going to a dog park and socializing with different dogs. At pick up time, we asked Siobhan and Guillermo if they can care for them again on our next trip away from home.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian.
