About: Dogs have been a big part of our lives. We adopted Bruno, our beloved Labrador Retriever, with whom we spent 11 years until he fought bravely with cancer but could not win. Bruno socialized me to his friends like Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Corgis, Golden Retrievers and many more and helped me understand that each dog, irrespective of his breed, has a unique personality and temperament. Thus, please do tell us about your dogs unique traits and his phobias so that we can make him feel at home. This is important for us to know as dogs undergo huge stress to be away from their home. After Bruno passed away, we adopted Rex, Labrador Retriever, who has helped us heal and made us realize how important dogs are in our lives! Both, me and my wife WFH and have flexible working schedule. So one of us will be at home to take care of the pack. We have Rex, a Labrador Retreiver, who goes on walks 2x times a day for 2-3 miles everyday. If the dog is staying with us, based on his needs, he can join us on our walks. Plus, we have a fully fenced backyard for dogs to play and run freely. Often, we take break from our work and play with our dog in the backyard or go for a small 5-10 min walk outside our home. For everyone’s safety, the dog should get along with kids and other dogs. Please let us know if there are any health issues and/or food allergies. My wife and I have experience caring for senior dogs, and both of us are comfortable administering medications as needed.

“Jifu’s family with Joki took a good care of our golden doodle, Kuli very well. They follow the caring instruction to feed Kuli and medications. Kuli has allergy and urinary incontinence, she needs to take medication multiple times a day, she also has bilious vomiting if she has empty stomach for too long, and she pees on herself in front of her legs because of the way she pees, those make more troubles to take care of her. But when we pick Kuli up, she is happy, clean, and no illness symptoms so I can tell they fed Kuli on time with correct dose of medications. Their house has a nice and big backyard, also a front yard with grass lawn. What’s a wonderful place for pups. Kuli likes to bask there, and play fetching. Thank you very much for having Kuli and thanks Joki to share the nice space and keep Kuli company.”

I’ll treat your pet like my own and send updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. We work from home, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. We usually do a morning walk, some playtime in our private driveway around lunchtime, and an evening walk or park time. On very hot days, we avoid walking in the middle of the afternoon and prefer safe playtime in our shaded/private driveway instead. We live in a townhouse with a long private driveway, a nearby dog park, and several dog-friendly parks in the neighborhood. It’s a very dog-friendly area, and many of the neighborhood dogs already know and get along with our rescue dog, Pepper. At home, I focus on a calm, safe environment with supervision, patience, and care based on each dog’s personality and comfort level.
