My experience spans various breeds including two pit bulls, a border collie, a Romanian raven (street dog), and currently Apollo, our one-year-old smooth collie who’s wonderful with other dogs and actively training. **Your Dog’s Safety & Comfort Come First** Our home features a fully fenced, secure yard designed to keep dogs safe - no escape routes here! Your pup will have doggy door access so they can move freely between house and yard. We maintain an active lifestyle with daily multi-mile walks, regular dog park visits, beach trips, and hiking adventures, but we’re happy to adjust our routine to match your dog’s specific needs and energy level. **Personalized Care & Attention** I limit my care to a maximum of 2 dogs at a time to ensure each pup receives the individual attention they deserve. Having raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years, including working with rescues who needed extra patience and care, I understand that every dog is unique. Whether your pet needs gentle encouragement, structured exercise, or just lots of love and attention, they’ll receive personalized care in our home. Peanut had his trial day with Shannon today and everything went great. She took wonderful care of him, kept us updated with lots of photos, and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. We could see that he was happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again in the future
Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Shannon has been the perfect solution to my sensitive boys needs- and mine! She’s been so warm and kind and loving, and really open to accommodating Benji’s personality and also my preferences. Pet care isn’t something I fit into my routine - it IS my routine. My days naturally revolve around my dogs’ needs and well-being. I start each morning with walks and feeding, and throughout the day I’m actively engaged with them whether we’re training, playing in the yard, or just spending quality time together. Evenings often include longer walks or trips to the dog park. Having cared for dogs for years, this rhythm feels completely natural to me. When I’m caring for client dogs, they simply join this established routine that already prioritizes canine happiness and health. As a homemaker, I’m available throughout the day to monitor, interact with, and respond to any needs that arise. Pet care isn’t an add-on to my life - it’s woven into the fabric of how I live.

**In My Home:** Your dog will enjoy a secure, fully-fenced yard with doggy door access for indoor/outdoor freedom. I limit care to a maximum of 2 dogs to ensure individual attention and maintain a safe, escape-proof environment. Daily care includes regular feeding, fresh water, exercise tailored to your dog’s needs, and plenty of companionship. We’ll follow your pet’s routine while incorporating our active lifestyle of walks, dog parks, and outdoor adventures. Your dog sleeps indoors with access to comfortable spaces throughout the house. I provide regular updates with photos so you know how your pup is doing. Any specific instructions for feeding, medication, or behavioral needs are carefully followed. My experience with 6 dogs over the years, including rescues with special needs, has taught me to read canine body language and respond to different temperaments. **Safety is paramount** - secure fencing, dog-proofed spaces, and constant supervision ensure your pet’s well-being. Your dog will receive experienced, loving care in a safe environment designed with their comfort and security in mind.

I tailor activities to each dog’s personality and energy level! My favorites include daily multi-mile walks, dog park visits for socialization, beach trips, and hiking for adventurous pups. Our fully-fenced yard is perfect for fetch, tug-of-war, and free play sessions. Apollo, my puo, loves meeting new friends, so well-socialized dogs often enjoy playdates in our secure yard. For calmer dogs, we focus on gentle walks, relaxing yard time, and plenty of cuddles. I always follow your dog’s lead - some prefer high-energy adventures while others are happiest with peaceful activities. Weather permitting, we spend lots of time outdoors, but cozy indoor bonding time is equally important. You’ll get regular photo updates showing all the fun your pup is having!
