“Great communication and was great with my puppy. Took him out and gave him his food and made sure he was comfortable along the way! Would definitely have Cynthia walk my dog again in the future.”

About: Growing up, I have owned my own dogs and taken care of family and friend’s dogs pretty frequently! I have experience with dogs of various personality types and truly love being around all kinds of animals. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and have frequently taken dogs out on day trips to expose them to more of the outside world. I am responsible, reliable, caring, flexible, and have a calm personality. Overall, I really want to be there to help out the people in my community with caring for their pets. I am currently working part time and have a lot of free time to care for your pets and give them the enrichment that they need! I am open to walking, dropping in to play, or watching them for extended time in my own home! I have a fenced in backyard where your pets can play safely and have all the room to run around and explore! I value keeping spaces organized and want to ensure that the people I pet sit for can trust me with taking great care of both their living space and animals!

“We are new to Rover and Julia was our first experience with dog walking. From the beginning she was very responsive. Julia was timely and was very good with our very hyper dog. We hope to continue with Julia's walking our dog.”

“Barbara is amazing! She's kind, responsive, and incredibly attentive, and it's clear how much she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. She's reliable, communicative, and Archie had so much fun today!”

“Loved having Huei come check in on my dog Remy multiple times this last month. My pup took to her so quickly and would get so excited to see her open the door. I enjoyed all the fun texts and pictures that really showed my dogs fun personality that others get to experience. 10/10 would recommend and happy to continue to book her!!!”

“Criss is the best so thorough? She did more than I asked. She took so many pictures. My dog and cat were well taken care of. I didn't have any problems or worries. We are keeping Criss forever .”

About: I'm open to most types of pet sitting and have a hybrid work approach so more often than not am able to stay for the majority of the day with your furry child! I love walking in general, playing with dogs, cats, and appreciate that every pet has their own personality. Pet setting has always been a source of joy in my life and creating long standing relationships with families and their pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be treated with a wagging tail or a tail straight up depending on the pet :) and know that sending photos of their fur friend is bringing peace of mind to a family. I understand how much a pet means and am willing to go the extra mile to fit your families needs. I'm a graduate student getting a masters in clinical psychology in the evenings, which means I am available most days of the week and weekend during the day. I know I'm in good company here in saying that I treat my own cat like she's a part of my family. With any animal I'm taking care of I do my best to adhere to the schedule that the pet is used to in an effort to maintain a sense of normalcy when their family is away from them. I usually like to get to know what each pet likes and make sure we are trying to do some of their favorite activities to make their time positive. I make a concerted effort to keep the home neat and tidy each day so that the pet is also feeling clean and comfortable, but also so that the owners know that I respect not only their pet but their home. Depending on the preference of the owner I find it fun to send a small daily update which includes a photo and how the pet is doing overall.

“Aylia was extremely communicative, catered to our shy dogs needs, and responsible. I could tell she is used to working with skittish dogs and is willing to give them the space they need to feel safe. She did have an unforeseen emergency arise during our scheduled walks but she notified me quickly and Rover actually gave a credit for the trouble of finding a second sitter last minute. I would definitely rebook her if we need another walker!”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I understand that it takes attention and time to get to know each individual. My goal is to make every walk or visit a positive experience so both you and your dog feel at ease. As a college student on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate morning and early afternoon walks or drop-in visits throughout the week. I can often accept last-minute requests. I am dependable and respectful, and will pay special attention to any specific directions regarding drop in visits. I will ensure the safety of your pet and home when I perform the visits.
“Kim was professional and considerate from the moment we met. She walked my pup a few days while I was out of town, helping split care with my mom. Kim checked in ahead of the service, during with questions, and sent lots of pictures to clearly show what happened. When my pup was sick one day, Kim kindly cleaned up after her and sat with her instead of trying to push through with a walk. I felt so comfortable leaving my pup in her hands.”

Nicole is fantastic! She is truly a dog whisperer. Enzo took to her right away and looked forward to his walks with Nicole each day during our trip. She also truly help with his behavior training during our trip. I am already reviewing our future needs and locking in those dates. Thank you Nicole!!
Huei is a delightful person, very upbeat, and she did a great job walking our beloved golden doodle person-in-a-dog suit Phoebe, who by the wonderful photos that Huei sent back from the walks, clearly was having a blast with her 30 walks. Huei was great about communicating when she would be over to take Phoebe for a walk and what was going on with Phoebe from the walk. We would highly recommend her, and would call on her again when needed, she's great!
This was our first time using Regina, and even though we weren’t able to meet beforehand, we felt surprisingly comfortable leaving our guy in her care! She was very responsive, sent updates and pictures (always helps put us ant ease!), and communicated well throughout. Rainier can sometimes be a puller and certainly over overexcitable at times— Regina seemed confident handling him, which we really appreciated. would definitely love to have her help again in future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
