Hi! I’m a biologist with a lifelong love of animals that somehow isn’t completely fulfilled by my two adorable cats. So I decided to combine that love with a side job and get paid to spend time with even more pets. Pretty much heaven, right? I grew up with big, lovable, drooling dogs and have had pets my entire life. I truly believe life is just better with an animal by your side! I love both cats and dogs and am comfortable with pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from energetic pups who want to play and explore to cats who would rather have some quiet company and cuddles (on their terms, of course!). Because I have two cats of my own, I’m not able to board pets in my home, but I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, walks, playtime, feeding, litter box care, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for when you can’t be there, and I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I give my own. I’d love to meet you and your pets!

Unfortunately, I can’t board your babies in my home since I have two very jealous kitties of my own! But I’m more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their own home. I’ll follow your instructions and their usual routine as closely as possible, whether that means meals, walks, playtime, litter box care, medications, or simply some company and cuddles. Every pet is different, so just let me know what makes yours happiest and most comfortable!

We moved recently and so glad that we got to meet with Julia. She took great care of our cat, Mango, while we were away. She is very reliable, timely and she sent us daily updates and pictures &videos. We felt comfortable knowing that Mango was in great hands! Thank you!
Julia is wonderful and I’ll definitely ask her to watch/walk Hazel again! Hazel can be shy with new people but instantly loved Julia - she knows when someone is a dog person. I got a lot of updates and pictures, and overall I just felt so at ease!

Schedule
My schedule has some flexibility and varies throughout the week, so I’m often able to accommodate different days and times. Let me know what you and your pet need, and I’m sure we can find a way to make it work! For pets who need multiple visits each day, I’m usually a better fit when visit times have some flexibility rather than needing to happen at the exact same times every day.

- The more I know about your pet, the better! Please let me know about their usual routine, personality, favorite activities, any quirks or fears, medical needs, and anything I should watch out for. For dogs, it’s also helpful to know how they behave on walks and around other dogs or people. For cats, I’d love to know whether they’re social, shy, playful, or prefer to have their space. Basically, anything you think will help me understand your baby and make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away! I don’t have any breed, size, or age preferences. I love them all! Although I’ll admit I have a special place in my heart for big, drooling dogs!
