“I am so grateful to have found Annie as a pet sitter. She is reliable, responsible, communicative, and genuinely caring with animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, gave my pets plenty of attention and playtime, and made them feel comfortable and loved while I was away. It’s clear that she truly cares about the pets she watches, and my pets bonded well with both her and her dog Hunter, as well as the other boarded dogs.”

“Data, my 100 pound German Shepherd, usually stays with his girlfriend Repunzel when I am out of town but She was sick so I searched Rover for sitter. Evie’s location was nearby and when I stopped by for a visit I was impressed with the large amount of lawn area for Data to explore. Evie kept me up to date with pictures and activity reports which I greatly appreciated. I’ll be going on vacation this summer and will be using Evie again.”

She sent plenty of updates throughout the weekend, and we could tell our dog, Tobi, felt right at home. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands while we celebrated. We will definitely be booking with Kelly again in the future.”

“Di helped me out when I needed a last-minute booking- and he turned out to be a great find! He was incredibly flexible about drop-off/pick-up, super responsive to messages, and sent me a bunch of photos and video updates. He also took Oliver on walks at the times I requested. About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“Ivy and Zach were great with our dog, Gracie! They were quick to reply and sent regular updates and pictures to help put me at ease leaving her with new sitters. They followed the schedule I asked for, and we’ll definitely be booking again!”

Foster City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Diana is wonderful. This was the longest that we had ever been away from Pepper in the five years he has been with us.. He had a wonderful time with Diana and her family. I was completely at ease, knowing that he was in excellent care, as he always is with her. Thank you, Diana!

I can't recommend Annie enough! She was incredibly responsive, kept me updated throughout the stay, and sent lots of pictures and videos that gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she genuinely cared about my dog and made sure he had plenty of fun walks, attention, and affection. My dog looked so happy and comfortable in her care, and honestly, he seemed almost sad to leave when it was time to come home! Knowing he was so well cared for made all the difference. I would absolutely trust her with my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter.

Sandra boarded our puppy (about 11 weeks old) for 3 nights while we were traveling, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. At that age, puppies require extra precautions against parvovirus, and Sandra took every one of them seriously. She was incredibly responsive from the very first meet & greet, all my follow-up questions, thorough about learning Max's routines and genuinely thoughtful about making her home safe and comfortable for our pup. When I was away from my puppy, I got daily updates and questioned addressed very timely. We could tell our puppy had a wonderful time, and we'll absolutely be coming back!

Minori is excellent with our rescue pup, Raz--very calm, confident and kind. She is a strong communicator and let's us know how things are going each day with photos and text. Raz is very comfortable with Minori, has fun, and returns to us in great spirits. We hope to work with Minori again when Raz is ready for another vacation!

Irina was absolutely the best! She was fun, thoughtful and caring. Every single day, she sent a bunch of photos as well as a description of our dog’s day — exploring different parks, playing at home, snoozing on the couch together. She was also mindful of his quirks (recent leg surgery, wariness around other dogs), and she adjusted her plan accordingly. My family and I were so relieved to know that our pet was receiving such wonderful attention!

Micaela is great, and was wonderful with my shy dog. She did two meet and greets with him before his stay, and he adored her immediately. She was very communicative during his stay with her, sending pictures several times a day and quickly responding to my messages. I couldn't ask for a better first experience using Rover, and I would definitely book Micaela again for any future trips. Thank you, Micaela!

Mario was excellent! We took our 7 month old puppy (Benji) to him for 3 days of boarding. It was the first time we had to board Benji and I'm very happy we chose Mario! Mario is super knowledgeable and took great care of our pup. It was clear Benji got a lot of attention and exercise throughout the weekend! We received a lot of updates and excellent pictures. Looking forward to working with Mario in the future. We highly recommend him!
