When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is safety and trust. I follow the pet owner's specific instructions to maintain a safe environment, ensuring that hazardous items are out of reach and that the pet feels secure in their familiar setting. Building trust is key, so I start with a meet-and-greet to make sure the pet is comfortable with me. During visits, I maintain their routine, provide regular updates to the owner, and give each pet personalized attention and care, just as I would for my own.
