About: I have over 15 years of experience pet sitting for cats and caring for dogs for friends, family, and extended networks. I grew up with two Dalmatians and a chocolate Labrador, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I also volunteered for 7 years at the Humane Society SPCA, where I worked hands-on with dogs, including training and behavior support. Through this experience, I’ve developed confidence handling a wide range of personalities—from high-energy dogs to more anxious or sensitive pets. I currently have a 9-year-old black cat named Peter, and I’m especially skilled with cats. I understand their behavior, respect their boundaries, and know how to build trust—even with shy or more reserved cats. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I’m happy to follow routines closely and ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Flexible schedule with availability weekdays and weekends for drop-ins and walks. I prioritize consistency, follow routines closely, and ensure reliable, attentive care for your pet. I create a calm, safe environment, follow all care instructions, respect boundaries, and provide attentive care. Experienced with shy or anxious cats and build trust patiently.
“Sukky (Siqi) is an amazing Rover cat sitter — incredibly attentive and truly knows how to interact with cats. Hoohoo was so well cared for, and reading her daily update notes genuinely made my day every time. She’s thoughtful, observant, and clearly experienced with cats. She also went above and beyond what I expected: she helped brush Hoohoo’s fur, tidied up the living room, and took absolutely fantastic photos (I’m literally using them as my phone wallpaper!). On top of that, she even drew an adorable little sketch of Hoohoo — such a sweet and personal touch. I’m so grateful for everything she did, and I will definitely book Siqi again next time. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs since I can remember. I trained my corgi when he was a puppy and even taught my cat some tricks! I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I believe that all pets deserve to feel loved, comfortable, and safe while their owners are away! I’m currently a college student, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have time all throughout the day, from the morning to the evening, to play with them! Having pets of my own, I understand the importance of routines and sticking to a schedule. I will ensure that your pets feel safe, loved, and normal while you are gone. I always prioritize making sure that pets are comfortable around me and will do anything it takes to ensure that they are.

About: I am currently offering daily walks only. Your pup will enjoy a long walk on your requested route or my choice. I enjoy taking dogs to the park, hikes and walks around the lakes. There are many options on the Pennisula and I like to switch up the scenery daily. I only walk one dog at a time. I try to keep my prices low, I know what a stress it is to worry about your pup and the last thing you need is to not schedule a walk due the cost. I am also open to suggestions and will always refill the water bowl and give your pup lots of kisses and love before the end of my visit. I appreciate all reviews, please message me directly if you have any additional questions. All pets get my undivided attention. I make sure your pup is well hydrated, gets the excercise they need and lots of love and kisses in between. I will make sure to go over any safety instructions to ensure both I and pets are safe. Dogs will remain under my sole supervision at all times.
“We are so grateful to have found Heleen to take care of our two kitties! Her communication before, during and after visits was excellent and we could tell by the photos she sent that our kitties were comfortable and really liked her. She seemed to really like them too. Highly recommend Heleen and will definitely look to her in the future.”

“Xilin was an amazing cat sitter! She did daily drop-in visits while I was on vacation and took such great care of my cat. Every visit, she made sure he was fed, his litter box was cleaned, and his water was refilled. She also spent time playing with him and giving him attention, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly genuinely cares about animals. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a clean space. I would absolutely book Xilin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“Our experience with Rong was terrific! She cared for our cats for a couple days while we were away. She was prompt, thorough, and communicative. One day it looked like the cats got into a tiff and there was hair tufts all over the hallway. She let us know, sent photos and cleaned up after them. We appreciated her care for our cats and home, as well as the updates and pics that she provided. Thanks so much Rong! We’ll be in touch again!”

About: I’ve worked for two years at a cat shelter where I encountered a wide range of pet personalities. From weeks old kittens to spicy feral cats, I’ve seen it all. I’m great at ensuring that every pet is entertained. I’m available all summer before I head off to college! I’m just looking to save up some money to fund my college essentials! I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for your pet to run around, as well as an area with plenty of trees and leaf litter for your pet to explore. I’m great at designing pet safe enrichment activities.
“Yamzel took great care of my cat while I was away👍She sent detailed daily updates and photos every day, which really helped me feel relaxed and worry-free during my trip. My cat is super shy and usually hides from new people, but Yamzel still managed to find him and send me cute pictures and updates. She also thoughtfully kept an eye on her food and supplies, which I really appreciated. I felt really reassured knowing my cat was in good hands. I’d definitely book with Yamzel again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter 😊”

“Irina is very lovely lady and caring our cat so much! She followed all instructions, and visited our cat timely. She even stayed longer than our original booking window to spend time and play with Capy. Took a lot photos and video to make sure we feel comfortable during our leave. Our cat is a shy boy, usually hide from strangers but not to Irina. He even showed his belly with trust to her, that says something! We will not hesitate to work with Irina when necessary for next time, thank you so much!🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️”

“Alanna is an amazing cat sitter. She is very responsive, communicates clearly, and is genuinely caring. She sent me photos of my cats and water, foods to reassure me that they were doing well, even though they like to hide in narrow spaces. Thanks to you, Alanna! we were able to spend time with my family members in Japan without worrying about our cats Thank you so much!😊”

“Angelica was so sweet with our boy! She made sure he got some outside time and lots of great cuddles. She also made sure to follow all instructions and administered medicine for our senior dog. Macho loved his visit from Angelica!”

“Shujing took wonderful care of my cat, Mia. She followed all instructions carefully and kept me updated throughout the stay. Mia clearly felt comfortable around Shujing, and I could tell they had a great time together. I would definitely work with Shujing again and recommend her to others.”

“Maila did a great job dropping in on our cat, Felix, while we were away for a few days. She even let him play outside for a bit, which I’m sure he loved since he’s an indoor-outdoor cat and doesn’t get to go outside as much when we are traveling.”

Kirsten is great! Watched my three old ladies for a week. First time using a cat sitter and I couldn’t have found a better one. My cats warmed up to her quickly. Loved the photos and videos which are far superior to the ones I take! I can’t recommend Kirsten highly enough. It’s great to come home to contented kitties 🐱

Milena is a natural when it comes to taking care of cats! She’s excellent at reading cat body language and is very patient and gentle. My cat, Pebble, takes medication and she can be difficult to medicate. Milena is extremely patient with her and always makes sure she gets her meds. I highly recommend her!

Jasmine took amazing care of our four cats while we were away. All four of them are very shy and sensitive around new people, so I was honestly a little nervous about leaving them. But Jasmine’s calm, gentle, and patient energy really helped them feel safe and comfortable. Jasmine was also extremely detail oriented and followed all of our instructions carefully, which meant so much to us because our cats each have their own little routines and needs. We also needed to add one extra visit at the last minute on our final day, and Jasmine was very flexible and accommodating, which we really appreciated. She also sent wonderful updates and took such sweet photos of them. The photos really helped us feel close to home while we were away. We are so grateful for the care she gave our little crew, and we would absolutely book Jasmine again.

Our cat has some special medication needs, and I was nervous to leave her with a new person. Angie handled it all super well; she even found us a better way to prepare the medication! Our cat was very content when we came back home, which is a rare vote of confidence. I highly recommend Angie.

Lisa did a great job watching our sweet, shy cats for a week. While they hid during her visits, we arrived to them in the best spirits of any of our travels so far. She was very communicative and left photos each day and also left our home in great shape. Would highly recommend!

Jiaru took great care of our cat, Tom, while we were out of town for the holidays. It was our first time leaving Tom, so we were very worried how he would do without us, but knowing Jiaru was taking such great care of Tom really helped us relax. She was attentive and communicative and shared many photos of Tom throughout. We're very thankful we found Jiaru and would absolutely book her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
