About: I have 6 years of Rover experience and 30+ years of caring for dogs and other pets. I love dogs and I hope I get to keep doing this forever! ❤️ I’ll send lots of updates and photos of your fur baby’s silly faces, snuggles, actions shots, and all the fun little moments that make their day. Have a peace of mind knowing your fur baby is happy, well cared for, safe, loved, and spoiled to the fullest while you’re away. 😊👍 Available any day, anytime-happy to fit your schedule! Your 🐶 is never left alone or overlooked because I’m right there with them all day - playing, rolling around, relaxing, and having fun together. At night, they happily cuddle on the bed, couch, or wherever they choose to snooze (or in their crate if crate training is preferred by the owner). Your 🐕 will be in a loving home away from home in a very safe, nature-filled neighborhood where they can relax indoors and play to their heart’s content outside in two large fenced areas, each with its own real grass field. There’s plenty of space for zoomies, nature-powered brain workouts, sniffing adventures, sunbathing sessions, and shady chill spots for well-earned breaks in between all the fun, and most importantly, scenic bathroom spots! 😆

Thank you Shirley for a great first daycare experience for both us and our pup. From keeping us informed at all times (with pics) to giving our puppy a wonderful environment within which to play and rest, everything was top notch. Shirley even went a step beyond and gave us good advice about our pup’s ear care. Thank you!

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.

About: I live with two dogs of my own as part of a full multi-pet household, so daily care isn't new to me — it's routine. I have specific experience with senior dogs, including the extra patience and attentiveness that comes with mobility issues, changes in appetite, and adjusted exercise needs. I'm comfortable administering medications — pills, liquids, or topicals — and keep careful notes on dosing and timing so nothing gets missed. My apartment includes an oversized outdoor patio for fresh air and relaxing evenings, and our community also has a dog run that's always accessible for exercise and playtime. Whether your dog is a high-energy pup or a slower-moving senior, I adjust my pace and attention to what they actually need. Pet care is my full-time focus, because I don't work outside the home, my schedule is wide open — which means I can offer walks and drop-in visits at the times that actually fit your pet's routine, not squeezed into a narrow morning-or-evening window like many sitters. Mornings are typically free for early walks or first visits of the day. I have consistent availability through the afternoon for midday drop-ins, potty breaks, or a second walk if your dog needs it. And I'm just as available in the evenings for a final walk or check-in before you're home. Whether your pet needs one visit a day or several spread throughout, I have the flexibility to actually be there when it counts. Safety and trust start with creating a calm, structured environment where pets can settle in and feel at home. My apartment is a full-time, attentive household — with two dogs and several cats of my own, pets who stay or visit here are never left alone for long stretches, and routines (feeding, medication, walks) are followed closely and consistently. I keep a close eye on interactions between visiting pets and my own animals to make sure everyone is comfortable, and I'm attentive to signs of stress so I can adjust the environment as needed — whether that means quiet separate space or supervised introductions. Outdoor time is always supervised, whether that's the patio, a walk, or the community dog run, and I take care to secure doors, gates, and any potential hazards throughout the home. Your pet's safety and comfort are treated with the same level of care as my own.

About: We are a family of four who loves dogs. Our lives center around our healthy 5 year old lab retriever Texas who spayed and updated with her shots. We live in the beautiful hills of Belmont and have a deck for dogs to sunbathe on and a fenced yard to play and get their wiggles out. I’m a dog walker so what better than walking two dogs versus one! 7am potty break, 7.30am Breakfast, 8-9am morning play, relax/sunbathe (dogs 😊), 10-11 am bathroom break 4pm - dinner, 5-7 pm walk , lights out -10.30pm Before boarding it’s imperative that we meet the dog and the dogs meet each other. Smaller dogs get very defensive affront large dogs and since we have a large dog I’m right now restricted to large dogs only. Our fenced yard is a perfect place for dogs to play and have fun with the gazillion toys we have. We also live 5min away from a dog park so if your dog is friendly and has a good recall that’s another place we can have fun. I take time to build and earn the dog’s trust - some treats go a long way. I check their paws after playing to ensure nothing is bothering and also keep a keen eye on any scratching or biting.

About: I've taken care of dogs for 5 years now, and I'm a proud owner of a labradoodle. I love taking them to the dog park and take a walk. I'm a dog owner myself. My husband and I work remotely. Our schedule is flexible. I have a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I only take 1 dog at a time. I have a fenced yard and a friendly and playful labradoodle. My pet is neutered and fully vaccinated. I could crate your dog easily if needed. I have a daily routine from feeding, playing and bonding with my pet. I make sure he stays happy, healthy and well-cared for. He loves sniffing around. I make sure pets are comfortable and happy by following their feeding schedule and providing plenty of play time. I have a big fenced yard where they can explore and enjoy themselves.

About: Welcome to Lauri and Friends Pet Care — where hospitality-inspired care meets canine adventure. Every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and communication style, and I love learning what helps them feel safe, confident, and balanced. My customer service management experience at an emergency veterinary hospital (formerly SF SPCA, now SF Animal Care & Control) gave me valuable experience supporting the wellbeing and safety of both feline and canine companions. My family and career have also been deeply rooted in the hospitality world, which I love incorporating into my pet care approach. From structured adventure walks and personalized updates to boutique-style boarding and in-home care, my goal is to create enriching experiences that bring peace of mind to both pets and their humans. My lifelong pet care journey began with caring for a wide variety of personalities and breeds within my own family — from the spirited energy of German Shepherds like Rocky and Ozzy, to the playful antics of Doberman mixes like Josh, and the gentle (sometimes spirited!) companionship of Bernese Mountain Dogs like Oliver. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the unique emotional and physical needs every animal brings, as well as the powerful bonds they share with humans. One of my greatest strengths is helping dogs and humans feel more connected, understood, and at ease together. Compassion, communication, safety, and authenticity are at the heart of everything I do. Your pets and home will be treated with the same level of attentiveness, respect, and care that I would want for my own family. Our initial meeting will be more than just a checklist of routines and rules. Let's uncover your pet's unique language of preferred commands and desired tricks—because learning is an adventure, and fostering good behavior is an ongoing journey. While I strive to accommodate your scheduling needs to the best of my ability, please keep in mind that creating a seamless experience for your pet may require some adjustments. Your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities, and I'm dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure they receive the care they deserve. I appreciate your understanding that sometimes, good things take time. Communication is essential to our partnership. While I endeavor to respond as quickly as possible, please understand that there might be moments when my hands are full of paws, toys, and laughter. Thank you in advance for your patience—I assure you, your concerns and queries are valuable to me. My schedule revolves around your pet's needs, with regular walks and house-sitting routines thoughtfully planned. And for those rare moments, I'm here as your pet's emergency companion to the vet. This isn't just a side gig; it's my full-time calling—a career shaped by passion and expertise. Anticipate extraordinary experiences—playful moments during walks, explorations in local parks, and outdoor adventures (or a backpack outing for young puppies so no paws touch the ground). While I stay present with your pets, I also capture candid memories to share with you. Now, let's delve into the services I offer, designed to cater to your furry friends:

Anna and Conrad took great care of Teddy for the day and was able to accommodate our last minute request for booking and changes. Our guy is a little shy around other dogs so they were extra patient and caring to ensure he was okay and even allowed us to meet before our daycare so the dogs can get exposure. We also have a special diet and due to a recent illness and they were able to continue with our feeding instructions (even letting us know how much he consumed in the meal). I would be more than happy to drop off our dog for another session with them. Thank you Anna, Conrad, Mochi, and Olive!

About: I have a Samoyed x Standard Poodle at home, so I am very comfortable handling and caring for larger breeds! I have also cared for various dogs within my family so I are experienced with smaller dogs and different breeds. And since I work from home full time, you can expect frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know your pup is happy and well looked after! I work from home full time, so your dog will never be left alone. Since I have our own dog, I already do two walks a day — so your pup will definitely be getting out and about! I have my own friendly dog at home who loves meeting new friends — he gets along great with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so your pup will always have a playmate! I also have enrichment toys and lick mats on hand to keep them stimulated and entertained.

Anmol was absolutely wonderful, incredibly communicative and responsive to all that our slightly anxious pup needed. It can feel difficult finding care for a dog that is high needs and Anmol was exactly what we were hoping to find in a sitter. She sent us updates throughout the day and gave a rundown of how she was feeling. For both overnight sitting and daycare we can not recommend Anmol highly enough!

Our dog had such an amazing day with Lawrence & crew! From the moment I dropped off, I could tell how excited she was to start her day care stay. Even before our first meeting, Lawrence took the time to listen & learn about my dog. He is super responsive & I loved all the pics & videos! And my dog finally drank enough water for the day. They had all the fun toys that my pup loves. She had so much fun, that she has been resting for the last hour ever since we got home. My dog was so attached that when I went to pick her up, she watched them walk all the way back to the gate & I had to promise her there could be a next time.

Katie and Jason welcomed our sweet pittie Archie for daycare so we could give Archie the chance to get to know them some before they watch him overnight later this month. Archie came home relaxed and happy! We also received so many beautiful pictures and a video showing his time with Jason and Katie, which calmed this nervous mom’s anxiety about leaving Archie with anyone else. We’re so happy and relieved we found Katie and Jason, they are legitimate dog people! ♥️

As of September 2026, there are 5,116 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Highlands-Baywood Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Highlands-Baywood Park commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 5,116 sitters in Highlands-Baywood Park, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
