She even offered a meet-and-greet video call beforehand, which really put my mind at ease since it was our second time using Rover for dog sitting. 🙏 Throughout our communications, Winnie was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. My doggo had a blast playing with Boba, and she sent us plenty of photos and videos showing how much fun they were having together. 🦮🐕‍🦺 When we picked him up, my dog was clearly sad to leave - always a good sign! 🥹🥲😭🫶 We're already looking forward to our next booking. Before the booking, I prefer to have a meet and greet to learn about each pet’s personality, routine, care instructions, and any special needs. I carefully follow the owner’s directions for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I pay close attention when entering or leaving the home and always check that doors, windows, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure. I will never let a pet off leash or introduce them to unfamiliar animals without the owner’s permission. I respect my client’s home, keep the pet’s space clean, and maintain their usual routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates and will contact the owner promptly if I notice any unusual behavior or health concerns.

About: My family and I simply love dogs. We have a small 12lb dog for almost 10 years. Before that we had a 10lb chihuahua for about 10 years. Both are rescue dogs. I work from home most of the time, and routine is 2 walks per day, one in the morning before 9am and one in the evening before 9pm. We have a fenced yard, so the dogs can be in and out freely when we are home. I can also add additional walks if needed around noon. I also have 2 teenagers who also love dogs. Sometimes they help out taking care them and playing with them. Our home is spacious, lots of places for them to chill and relax.

About: I am an IT professional who is VERY passionate about animals 🫶🏻 I even decided to take them off my plate entirely 😅 Working with animals is my form of therapy and a way to exercise. I work from home and pretty much make my own schedule so I am very flexible 🤗 I grew up with dogs, cats and hamsters in the home, and I currently have a dog 🐕, 2 cats 🐈, and a hamster 🐹 I worked for a dog walking company in the past, so I have experience taking care of dogs of different sizes, from Tea Cup Poodles to Newfoundland Retrievers. I also did A Lot of volunteering at no-kill shelters when I was in school. During my Rover ‘career’ I got a chance to learn how to care for other animals: bunnies, parrots and mice😁 I have experience administering medications, including injections (subcutaneous and inter muscular only) PS I take a TON of photos for Rover cards and add notes to them😉 (see examples in my photo gallery) Have reliable transportation (SUV) to take your dog or cat places such as grooming salons, hospitals, parks, etc. Available during weekends and holidays (I’m a hermit😅) If your dog doesn’t mind company, I would bring my German Shepherd. I will, of course, ask you first 🙃 Sharing is caring so I usually bring a wide variety of treats😋 I normally don’t walk more than 3 dogs at a time so that your pets get more attention and love🥰 I shall treat your furry friends same way I treat my own pets and my fur balls are spoiled with love!!! Ultimately, I will strictly follow your instructions. The more details you provide the better care your furry companions gets🙂

About: I’ve taken care of domestic animals since I was very young. Animals have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them, pets are part of our daily routine. My daily routine already includes caring for dogs. I run a small mobile dog grooming business, so I am used to being around pets every day. I’m also used to taking care of animals since I was young, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving attention to pets fits very naturally into my routine. I live in an apartment, but my complex has a dog park and very dog-friendly spaces. Pets will always receive attention, supervision, and a calm environment. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and follow the routine provided by the owner, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest.

About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

About: Hey there! I’ve been pet-sitting friends’ dogs and cats for years. I’m the person at the party that hangs out with your dog near the snacks 😄 Open to overnight stays and also walks/check ins, or local hikes if your pet wants a little adventure. I’m a healthcare admin professional, currently working a hybrid work-from-home schedule. I’m available mid-day through the evenings, and occasionally weekends for overnight stays as well! I am able to travel a bit to petsit your fur friend where they’ll be most comfortable. Can follow any rules you have for your pets, just let me know!
