About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

About: I grew up with my brother's dogs and have been watching dogs professionally for the last three years. Just as happy to take a high-energy dog as a mellow old senior citizen. Even the stubborn ones :) I work from home as a writer and can give your pup lots of attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to step outside to Washington Park or the fields and like to do a longer walk on the Bay Trail or Coyote Point once a day. I have a big grassy enclosed yard, too, with no dogs on the other side of the fence. If they like having a playmate, my brother’s dog Junior is three blocks away and always down to play. The yard is enclosed and I am home for most of the day on any given day. If they get cold easily, I’m happy to cover them with a blanket when they are resting. I’m a coldie too and like my house warm, so I get it! During hot days, the house stays mercifully cool, and I have a fan to help dogs with thicker fur.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 5 years (maybe more). Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same as their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm). For house sitting, since I have a pet of my own (a cat 🐱), I would need to be home by 6:30pm to feed her for dinner. So I would prefer to care for your pet during the day, leave around 6pm, then come back the following morning to continue care. I am open to staying overnight but it would have to be 2 nights at max. Any house sitting stays more than 2 nights I would need to leave to feed my cat dinner and come back the following morning. When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care. Also for house sits, because I wfh and work with patients, please let me know of any cameras in your place and make sure to mute the microphones as I do not want to violate HIPAA.

My dog Beasley is a very shy girl and by day two she seemed like she had made herself at home. I couldn’t be more grateful I found such a loving family to care for her when I’m out of town. Beasley can’t wait to stay with them again.”

It was clear Marley was having a little vacation of his own and loved spending time with their pup, Barney. He was obviously in very capable, caring hands—just as he would be with us. About: I grew up with pets in the house. I love animals and would love to take care of yours. I have a GR named Flash I work from home 4 days a week. I can take them out for walks twice a day or more. Bathroom breaks is anytime cuz my big yard I have a large, flat, fenced yard, and an energetic, occasionally crazy golden retriever to keep your pup endlessly entertained. They sleep in separate crates
“Cynthia and her family are truly a Peninsula gem. My dog, Loki, is a border collie mix who thrives on daily outdoor adventures beyond neighborhood walks—he’s a regular at Fort Funston and Thornton Beach and definitely has high standards for exercise and enrichment. During his stay, Cynthia went above and beyond to cater to all of Loki’s needs and kept him happy, active, and well cared for. I especially appreciated her family-centered approach to pet sitting—it made such a difference knowing Loki was treated like part of the family. We’re so grateful for the love and care they gave him and will absolutely be booking with Cynthia again!”

“William was a great host for our dog! Our little Lola seemed to have a blast the entire time with them and their dog Audi, and came home happy, healthy, and exhausted from her time playing! We also had an emergency where our return flight was cancelled and pushed back to the next day. William was able to accommodate and added the extra day with no problems, so we knew our little one was safe and gave us one less thing to worry about. They were very good with constant photos and updates to let us know of her progress while we were gone, and our dog seemed sad to leave at the end. I highly recommend William and will definitely be willing to use them in the future.”

“Rachael and her partner were nothing short of amazing with our dog Indy. Indy was instantly relaxed when he arrived for the night at Rachael’s, and had a lovely evening of cuddles and play with Rachael and her “crew”. Her dog and kitty were equally as welcoming to Indy! The picture updates were amazing and unexpected, and I could tell Indy was incredibly comfortable for his overnight stay. 10/10 recommend Rachael, and we will absolutely be booking with her again!”
