“All I can say is that when you go on vacation and your a pet parent, the last thing you want is to worry about the well being of your dog. Well KATIE definitely gave me peace of mind and and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing that my dog Boris was in GREAT hands. After the meet and greet, I already had a sense of comfort because of her experience and super friendly demeanor. She also sent me pictures of Boris during walks and my family even told me that my dog can sense that she was close to come get him because he would start to act anxious and wait for her at the door. Knowing that truly solidifies her ability to love and care for your pet. If I ever need someone to walk/watch my dog(s) again, Katie will be my definite go to. THANK YOU KATIE! Oh...she also gave us a farewell dog toy and homemade chocolate chip cookies on her last day walking Boris. This is great customer service and definitely built a great rapport with my family and I.”

“Maya is a reliable and caring dog lover. She took great care in getting to know my shy dog and reassured me that my pet would be in good hands. I’ve gone ahead and booked her for much of May! Great experience.”

“Cheryll is awesome. She truly cares about the dogs she walks. She gave my pups a great walk and was very responsive and followed my instructions perfectly. I will definitely use her again as a dog walker, and would highly recommend her to any dog parents out there.”

“Winnie was exceptional in caring for my complicated chihuahuas and shy cat while I was away. Her thoughtfulness and dedication provided them with the companionship they craved, going far beyond what was expected. My pets were happy and well-cared for, and I’m incredibly grateful for her outstanding help. Highly recommend!”

“Charmaine is a wonderful walker! She always send tons of photos and leaves descriptive details about the walk. She is also really great with overall communication and let’s you know even if she will be a couple minutes late. I highly recommend!”

About: I only care for 1 dog at a time, so your pup always has my full attention. I have years of experience caring for my own special-needs dog, which taught me how to handle medical routines with patience and care. Whether your dog enjoys active beach runs or a slower pace, I’ll adapt to their needs. Above all, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home at my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to accomodate the needs of your dog. It will never be short on care, play, or cuddles. I have a 5 year-old husky mix who lives in our house with fenced yard. We live 20 min away from the beach, minutes from parks and many trails.

About: My personal approach to dog care is grounded in genuine care for their well being. Working with my clients I provide prompt communication to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and healthy! Growing up my family had a beautiful 30lb dog that I helped care for from a puppy to old age. Being a part of this process has shown me how to support dogs in each stage of life from rambunctious puppies (structure, training and enrichment) to easing the aging process (special diet, new steps to climb onto the couch, shorter walks etc). Depending on the activity needs of your pup, I’m happy to provide daily walks or short runs (1-3 miles). I'm currently taking a gap year so I have plenty of time for your pups! I'm available weekdays and, with advance planning, can provide housesitting through weekends as well. I live in a single family home with three dogs. However, our family dogs like their space, and it is not available for dog boarding.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 5 years (maybe more). Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same as their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm). For house sitting, since I have a pet of my own (a cat 🐱), I would need to be home by 9:30pm to feed her for dinner. So I would prefer to care for your pet during the day, leave around 9pm, then come back the following morning to continue care. I am open to staying overnight but it would have to be 2 nights at max. Any house sitting stays more than 2 nights I would need to leave to feed my cat dinner and come back the following morning. When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care. Also for house sits, because I wfh and work with patients, please let me know of any cameras in your place and make sure to mute the microphones as I do not want to violate HIPAA.
“Maria is amazing! She showed up in such a short notice to meet Snowy before I hire her. Then I went on my trip and she was always on time, and my pets were so happy with her. I would definitely hire her again, I highly recommend you to hire her, your pets will thank you 😊”

“Zheng is a lifesaver! My dog has tons of energy, and Zheng did a fantastic job making sure he got a proper workout. I really appreciated the detailed Rover cards and the cute photos sent during the walk. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in such capable hands while I’m traveling”

About: I’ve taken care of domestic animals since I was very young. Animals have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them, pets are part of our daily routine. My daily routine already includes caring for dogs. I run a small mobile dog grooming business, so I am used to being around pets every day. I’m also used to taking care of animals since I was young, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving attention to pets fits very naturally into my routine. I live in an apartment, but my complex has a dog park and very dog-friendly spaces. Pets will always receive attention, supervision, and a calm environment. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and follow the routine provided by the owner, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, I am an animal person to the core. I have free time and would love to take care of your dog and provide my dog with a friend, win-win! My fiancé and I both wfh and our dog is 4 years old and super friendly. If your dog wants a friend to walk with or have a play date with or just stay the night, let me know :)! I'm taking time off from work and I'm free all the time. As for a routine, I take my dog for atleast 3 walks a day. We also go on trails hikes or to the beach. I treat any pet like it's my own. Having another dog around would be great! I communicate with my customers for any specifics or special requests within reason.
“Jen walked our sweet boy weekly for approximately two months! She was always on time and gave very detailed feedback on the Rover card. Also was very supportive of our continued training during walks as our boy is a pup still working on his manners! Thanks Jen!”

About: Hello! My name is Zara and I’m a 22-year-old recent graduate from UCSB living at home until grad school begins in September. I’ve been caring for and walking dogs since I was around 12 years old, and over the past four years I’ve gained extensive experience pet sitting and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I also spent a year providing pet care through Rover, where I cared for a variety of pets and connected with wonderful local pet owners. I absolutely love animals and treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. I have an 11-year-old labradoodle who I helped train when she was a puppy, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and lots of love are when caring for animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’m committed to making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! I am currently working some other houseitting/dog walking gigs but other than that I am completely free until mid August when I head abroad for the semester! Though I prefer a few days notice, most of the time I should be able to drop everything to help you out with your pets! I can easily take care of animals in an environment unfamiliar to me and am able to meet all of your pet-care needs! I unfortunately am unable to offer care for pets in my own home, but am able to stay and watch your pet in your home for as long as you need (including overnight!).
“Lisa has been so patient and gentle with my dog! She sends me multiple pictures and you can tell my dog is getting comfortable with her (which says a lot, my dog is very shy!!)”

I have books Trisha several times in the past and will continue to do so. My dog is a working German Shepherd who needs a firmer hand but also can be very affectionate if she trusts you. Tricia knows how to handle her, and has earned her respect which can be seen by the photos showing her years at 45° and that goofy grin that only comes out when she's comfortable around somebody. If you have a working dog, I definitely recommend Tricia. 👍 ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I’m so glad I found Stephanie! Our dog Chloe is anxious and reactive to people, and Stephanie knows exactly how to be with her - calmly approaching Chloe and letting her acclimate at her own pace. Chloe was so calm and well taken care of at Stephanie’s. Stephanie is my go-to for Chloe when we need to go on a trip, and I would highly recommend her!

Shirley's sister took care my old and stubborn dog very well. She doesn't force him to walk long, she read the dog's needs. My dog is healthy and happy to see her everyday. She communicated well with me also, sent me not only pictures, but also a detailed description about Milo's behavior and status.

My dog and I have been so happy we found Perry. Perry does an amazing job walking, playing and monitoring Ocean. Ocean has. a chronic GI condition and also wants to eat anything he can get to in the house or on walks. I've had a hard time finding someone who can really care for my dog. Perry Is extremely talented at looking out for things Ocean can get at. He also does an excellent job of redirecting If my dog starts having episodes of leash reactivity. It is evident Perry has strong training taking care of dogs. I appreciate that he listens carefully to what the plan is when he drops in and the thorough report and pictures. Best of all, my dog is really happy whenever he sees Perry. I am extremely comfortable knowing Perry can take great care of my mischievous and often sick dog.

Gracy has been amazing. She started off doing weekly walks with our dog, Skye, and our son's dog, Loki. Skye is very independent so I wasn't sure how Gracy was going to handle it, but Gracy ended up being the perfect person for Skye! My wife and I went on a 6 day cruise and needed someone to take Skye out while our son was at work. Gracy eagerly agreed. Our grandkids also stopped by several times during our trip and told us that Skye was sad and didn't want to come out of her kennel. But when I saw the pictures that Gracy sent us while taking Skye on walks everyday, I knew that our girl was in good hands. Thank you so much Gracy, you are one of Skye's favorite people.
