About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember and love caring for them. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog enjoying a walk, playing, or getting plenty of belly scratches. I also foster dogs, so I'm experienced with different personalities and needs. If your dog would do best with one-on-one care while boarding, I'll pause fostering to make sure they have my full attention and a safe, loving environment. I have a flexible work schedule and we will go on at least 2 walks during the day. Keep us both healthier and happier throughout the day! I'll always watch them like they are my own and will make sure they don't get into anything unexpected to keep them in good health!

About: Hi! My name is Blessy, and I’ve always had a love for animals. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets while you’re away. I’m patient, responsible, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, administering basic medications, and following specific care instructions. I treat every pet as if they were my own and am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, I’m committed to providing personalized care and attention. I currently work part time, which allows me flexibility to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I am available for drop in visits, walks, and pet sitting before and after work, as well as on many weekends. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and will always do my best to accommodate their schedule and needs. I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and boundaries to help them feel comfortable and secure. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust is, and I will treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“I had a great experience with Sin as my dog walker! She is responsive, punctual, and incredibly gentle and sweet towards Ziggy, who clearly loved walking around the neighborhood with her. He would come home happy and often take a little nap afterward, which is a sure sign he had a great time. I’ll definitely be booking her again for weekly walks! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog walker.”

“Anna showed up for me in a pinch— I needed help amidst unpacking from a move while my puppy showed signs of needing a little more help adjusting. She walked my young one and brought him back happy as can be! Anna is super professional and polite to work with, I couldn't ask for better communication. Thank you Anna!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 12 years and have experience with all breeds and sizes, from small puppies to large dogs. I'm patient, dependable, and treat every dog like family. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or providing lots of attention, I focus on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I am currently working from home, and have the flexibility to step out to take care of your loved ones. I have my own car to get around as needed. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs as well as crates for them to sleep in. Both dogs are very friendly just young and a little crazy.
“Gracy has been amazing. She started off doing weekly walks with our dog, Skye, and our son's dog, Loki. Skye is very independent so I wasn't sure how Gracy was going to handle it, but Gracy ended up being the perfect person for Skye! My wife and I went on a 6 day cruise and needed someone to take Skye out while our son was at work. Gracy eagerly agreed. Our grandkids also stopped by several times during our trip and told us that Skye was sad and didn't want to come out of her kennel. But when I saw the pictures that Gracy sent us while taking Skye on walks everyday, I knew that our girl was in good hands. Thank you so much Gracy, you are one of Skye's favorite people.”

“My dog Ozzy is a senior dog that requires specific care and Shao made sure to accommodate perfectly! Ozzy gets little panic attacks when alone for too long sometimes and at times requires medication. She used her intuition and gave him his anxiety pill because she felt that he had asthma like symptoms and was restless. When I came home he was and snoring away peacefully. She fed, walked, and made sure to even put his shoes on for the rain even though it’s a bit tricky to figure out how to put them on! I look forward to having her take care of Ozzy again in the future, def recommend if you have a senior dog or any dog for that matter! 10/10.”

About: Growing up I’ve owned many dogs and love them so much! They bring so much love in a household! I’ve also dog sat when I was younger. I just have so much LOVE for fur babies! As summer is approaching for the next month, I am working a full time job during the week and will be available after 3pm. However on weekends I am free to come play and check in on your pups throughout the day! When caring for your pup at home I will make sure I try my absolute best to care and cater to your pup’s routine as close and smoothly as possible to keep them the most comfortable and feel well taken care of as if they were my own so they feel loved and nurtured.

“I’m so glad I found Cheryll! She is the most responsive provider I’ve communicated with, and my little guy was immediately comfortable with her. Will definitely be requesting her services again. Thank you Cheryll!!”
About: I've grown up around dogs all my life and have been petsitting since I was 18 years old. I am familiar and comfortable with the routine that comes with caring, exercising, and loving all different types of dogs. I currently have a small network of clients who have trusted me with their pets for 7+ years. I am typically an early riser and love morning walks to start the day. There is also a park a few blocks away that I regularly run to myself. Whether I care for pets in my home or their own, I try my best to adhere to their routine and comforts. My favorite thing to do is go on nice walks with the dogs I care for and make sure they have enough safe playtime. I work on a hybrid schedule, but am fortunate enough to have plenty of flexibility. I am mainly available on weekends, as I will be home all day and can give proper attention and care to the pets I care for. When caring for pets, I try my best to adhere to their specified routines and boundaries. I live in a clean, cozy duplex and am able to take pets out for bathroom breaks conveniently.
About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life and grew up helping care for three family dogs—a German Shepherd/Husky (Wong), a Rottweiler (Choi), and a Border Collie mix (Bella)—from ages 10–21. That experience gave me a strong understanding of different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, and providing consistent structure, and I always aim to make dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I miss my dogs dearly and helping you would help fill in that void. My schedule is very flexible, and work from home. On my days off, I enjoy going on long walks, hiking, and relaxing with Netflix. I live in a clean, spacious, pet-friendly one-bedroom apartment. I can also set up safety gates to keep pets out of the kitchen while I'm cooking, ensuring they stay safe from any food or spills. I'm located near trails and plenty of green space, providing great opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I currently have an open schedule. Whether if you need a sitter for date night, going on a vacation, or even if you need a break from life, I am your guy! I have a big apartment with my fiancée and have plenty of walking areas in the peninsula. I can also take your dog to great highway for a long walk or even hangout at the beach!
About: I have worked with kids so I am used to being calm, patient and new or challenging environments that necessitates extra care and attention towards your pets. I am a college student and my work schedule is from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. I have class every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm. I’m available weekends and Friday night. I do not have any pets at the moment so my house is very clean and your pets would get my full attention. I have a decently sized yard for any outdoor time. I have a bed and toys to keep your pets entertained. My neighborhood is quiet and safe with minimal traffic, perfect for long or short walks.
“Always incredibly responsible and amazing with my animals. I used her years ago with my senior animal in his last two months. And now she gets to be a part of the new members of the family. Always so awesome to have a long term relationship with someone you can rely on!”

“Yvonne was fantastic in her care of my Shih Tzu. I reviewed the security footage when she came over to pick up my dogs for their walk. I saw a very loving person be patient and kind to my dog. I could tell she loves dogs and gave my dogs pets and comfort as Lia wasn’t familiar with her. Yvonne was punctual and provided pic of my dogs during their walk. I would highly recommend Yvonne if you have any need for your dog.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life — that's 29 years of hands-on experience caring for them at every stage. Growing up around both working and non-working dogs gave me a well-rounded understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and needs. I currently have a dog of my own, so your pup will always be in the care of someone who genuinely lives and breathes this. As an added bonus, my sister is a veterinarian — so I bring not just personal experience, but a household full of professional-level knowledge when it comes to your pet's health and wellbeing. I work from home on weekdays, which means your pet is never far from someone who cares. I'm available for drop-in visits throughout the day as long as I can bring my laptop, and I'm free for walks Monday through Friday from 2:30–7pm. Weekends are more flexible, and I'm happy to house sit with advance notice. Having a work-from-home setup is honestly a perk for the pets I care for - there's always a calm, present person nearby. I'm no stranger to multi-dog households as I live with my own dog alongside my family's two dogs, so I'm comfortable managing the dynamics that come with multiple pets under one roof. I have hands-on experience with crate training and potty training, and I've cared for dogs in all kinds of setups: yards, apartments, you name it. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I actually prefer caring for dogs in their own environment as familiar surroundings mean less stress for your pet, and I'm there to keep their routine as normal as possible. It's the setup where I do my best work.
“Lisa has been so patient and gentle with my dog! She sends me multiple pictures and you can tell my dog is getting comfortable with her (which says a lot, my dog is very shy!!)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 5 years (maybe more). Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same as their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm). For house sitting, since I have a pet of my own (a cat 🐱), I would need to be home by 6:30pm to feed her for dinner. So I would prefer to care for your pet during the day, leave around 6pm, then come back the following morning to continue care. I am open to staying overnight but it would have to be 2 nights at max. Any house sitting stays more than 2 nights I would need to leave to feed my cat dinner and come back the following morning. When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care. Also for house sits, because I wfh and work with patients, please let me know of any cameras in your place and make sure to mute the microphones as I do not want to violate HIPAA.
About: Hi friend, I'm Sophia, and my partner and I would love to walk and care for your dog! You can trust that your furry friend will be in compassionate and experienced hands with me. I've been caring for dogs and other pets since I was little, and I take pride in the trust and love that I've built with each animal. My experience spans walking, daycare, boarding, and more for both family and friends' dogs. I even fostered a sweet dog with anxiety for a year, ensuring they felt safe and loved. I've raised my dogs from young puppies through their senior years, and those who have crossed the bridge lived well into their late senior years, thanks to dedicated care. I have extensive experience with all ages and sizes of dogs, from house training energetic puppies to providing special care for incontinent seniors (ranging from 5 lbs to 125 lbs). Administering medications is also within my scope of care, ensuring your dog's health needs are met reliably. My friendly dog, a doodle, loves making new doggy friends and having playdates. I maintain a clean home with a fenced backyard because the well-being and safety of every dog I care for are my top priorities. My friendly Golden Doodle will be a great companion, ensuring your dog has company and fun. You can trust me to take care of your pup 24/7, offering attentive and loving care whenever it's needed.

Marisela was wonderful! I was in town for a month for work and she was so helpful walking my dog regularly while I was in the office. She was very flexible and responsive, and I could tell she put a lot of care in what she does. My dog loved the walks and I really appreciated the frequent pictures and updates! I would highly recommend booking her for your needs.

Esther did an outstanding job walking Mac who is very particular! She was kind and caring with him and communicated well when she and I needed to adjust the schedule slightly. I highly recommend Esther for your pet care needs!!! Thank you Esther for taking care of my fur baby MacGyver ❤️🎉😀

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
