“Luke has been amazing with my stubborn bullies. Getting them to move when they don’t want to but also exercising patience and love. He truly is the dog whisper and grateful that we found him!”

“She was really sweet with Foxy. We had great communication the whole time, and even though I didn’t get to meet her in person, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident that Foxy was in great hands. Foxy seemed really happy and excited when she came back from her walk, which I could see on the camera! I would definitely love to have her help walk Foxy again whenever I’m out of town. Thank you again! I really appreciate how kind and caring you were with Foxy.”

About: I have always been an animal lover from a very young age! I currently have 3 dogs , 1 mini poodle (female 11) , 1 dachshund (male 6) , and 1 chuweenie ( female 8) , I as well have a cat (female 3) that I rescued as a kitten! I currently work a part-time job at a dental office as a receptionist, my weekly schedule for work is Monday - Thursday from noon- 5:30pm which gives me the mornings and evening to look after your fur babies if and when needed! I have a nice sized yard and I live in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood to walk your dog! Growing up my mom was a house keeper so from a very young age I was taught how to keep any space whether it was my home or another’s nicely organized and cared for! Respect will always been shown to you and your pets while you are away!
“I had a great experience with Sin as my dog walker! She is responsive, punctual, and incredibly gentle and sweet towards Ziggy, who clearly loved walking around the neighborhood with her. He would come home happy and often take a little nap afterward, which is a sure sign he had a great time. I’ll definitely be booking her again for weekly walks! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog walker.”

“Sarah was super great!! This was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family and he’s more on the anxious side but she was extremely patient and understanding of his space and boundaries. In addition to sending mepictures from their walk she also included a detail report of their session which I loved. Will be booking again with Sarah in the near future!”

“My dog Ozzy is a senior dog that requires specific care and Shao made sure to accommodate perfectly! Ozzy gets little panic attacks when alone for too long sometimes and at times requires medication. She used her intuition and gave him his anxiety pill because she felt that he had asthma like symptoms and was restless. When I came home he was and snoring away peacefully. She fed, walked, and made sure to even put his shoes on for the rain even though it’s a bit tricky to figure out how to put them on! I look forward to having her take care of Ozzy again in the future, def recommend if you have a senior dog or any dog for that matter! 10/10.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every size and personality my whole life. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for walks, feeding, overnight stays, and basic manners. I now run Munchies’ Playhouse and live with my own two small dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Chiweenie), so I understand pack energy, leash reactivity, and pups who need extra patience. We’re walking distance from Orange Dog Park for daily playtime and also have a private fenced yard, so we can socialize if your dog enjoys it or keep things quieter in our own space if they prefer. Comfortable with puppies, seniors, medication reminders, and dogs who do better on separate walks. All sizes welcome. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your baby is doing. I’m home 7 days a week, so pet care isn’t squeezed around another job, your dog can have as much time as they need. I offer weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I can usually do mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I plan around my own two dogs’ routines so everyone stays exercised and calm. Last-minute or extra visits are welcome when my calendar is open. Meet-and-greets required first so we can lock in a schedule that actually works for your pup. In my home, visiting dogs have a calm indoor space plus a private fenced yard. My two small resident dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Chiweenie) can keep your pup company if they’re social, or we keep things separate if they do better on their own. I follow your routine for feeding, meds, potty breaks, and crating. Walks are on-leash unless you say otherwise; dogs who need it get their own walk. We’re also walking distance from Orange Dog Park for playtime when that’s a good fit. I watch energy, appetite, and behavior closely and send photo/video updates so you always know how they’re doing. Meet-and-greet required before the first stay/walk to ensure that we are a good fit for you.

“I’m so glad I found Cheryll! She is the most responsive provider I’ve communicated with, and my little guy was immediately comfortable with her. Will definitely be requesting her services again. Thank you Cheryll!!”
“Best dog walker ever!!!! You would be a fool to let anyone else walk your dog, she is so sweet and kind, Frankie just loves her. Responsible, on time, high integrity, a pleasure meeting her, and happy she was able to squeeze in Frankie last minute with huge smile, kind words, and plenty of pictures, she went above and beyond taking such good care of his special needs for pure love!!!”

“My dog, Copper, is usually very shy with strangers but took to Christine right away! She knows how to handle be dogs and is very efficient/ easy to work with. Highly recommend her!”

About: While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for dogs. I've spent over 16 years raising, walking, training, and caring for my own dogs throughout every stage of life. I've worked on basic obedience, leash manners, socialization, reinforcing good behavior, and providing consistent daily exercise and care. Friends and family have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply keeping a consistent schedule, I'll provide attentive, reliable care and treat them like they're my own. I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable walks and drop-in visits before work, after work, and on weekends. I do my best to accommodate each pet's routine and will always communicate clearly about availability. Whether your dog needs exercise, a potty break, or some extra attention while you're away, I'll make sure they receive dependable, loving care. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog's personality, exercise needs, and any special instructions before every visit. I'll always keep your dog securely leashed on walks, reinforce good leash manners, and make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a positive experience. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“Megan again did a great job with mid-day walks for Maya, always communicating her status and making sure Maya felt loved and cared for. I’ll definitely keep using her services in the future.”

About: Hi, my name is Emily! I have 3 years experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and needs. I own quite a quirky dog myself, so I am patient and understanding when dogs are moody or anxious, and I always take care to learn each dog’s unique personality. I am able to calmly avoid potential altercations and also reassure dogs who are nervous on walks. It is important to me to build a trusting relationship with every animal I work with, even if we are only meeting for 30 minutes. My goal is to help your dog feel safe and at home, get them some exercise, give them plenty of love and attention, and create the best time possible while they are missing you. As a remote worker, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet, whether that’s walking, playing, or puppy sitting, and along with having an instinct for what animals need, I will always be sure to follow your instructions for feeding, play, simple training, and bathroom schedules as well! While in your home, I will be sure to respect your privacy and standards of cleanliness, and I am comfortable discussing responsibilities of sweeping/vacuuming hair, taking out trash, and cleaning up animal-related messes, particularly during the damper seasons.
About: I'm Sophia, and my partner Diego and beautiful daughter Izabella and I would love to walk and care for your dog! You can trust that your furry friend will be in compassionate and experienced hands with me. My experience spans walking, daycare, boarding, and more for both family and friends' dogs. I even fostered a sweet dog with anxiety for a year, ensuring they felt safe and loved. I've raised my dogs from young puppies through their senior years, and those who have crossed the bridge lived well into their late senior years, thanks to dedicated care. I have extensive experience with all ages and sizes of dogs, from house training energetic puppies to providing special care for incontinent seniors (ranging from 5 lbs to 125 lbs). Administering medications is also within my scope of care, ensuring your dog's health needs are met reliably. My friendly dog, a doodle, loves making new doggy friends and having playdates. I maintain a clean home with a fenced backyard because the well-being and safety of every dog I care for are my top priorities. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 5 years (maybe more). Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same as their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm). For house sitting, since I have a pet of my own (a cat 🐱), I would need to be home by 6:30pm to feed her for dinner. So I would prefer to care for your pet during the day, leave around 6pm, then come back the following morning to continue care. I am open to staying overnight but it would have to be 2 nights at max. Any house sitting stays more than 2 nights I would need to leave to feed my cat dinner and come back the following morning. When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care. Also for house sits, because I wfh and work with patients, please let me know of any cameras in your place and make sure to mute the microphones as I do not want to violate HIPAA.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Chaco has received. She is dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely loves animals, and it shows in the way she interacts with Chaco. We always feel confident knowing he is in such caring hands. She is great about communication, reliable with her schedule, and pays attention to all the little things that make him comfortable and happy. It’s such a relief to have someone we trust completely, and Chaco absolutely loves seeing her. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog like their own! 🐾❤️

Samantha was on time, friendly, and Pinky went straight to her so that is always a good sign from my pup. She also kept me informed with her walk and a little giddyup I already knew about on her righ hip. Old doggie issues. Definitely will book with her again and recommend her to anyone else looking for someone to care for your fur baby.

Catherine has been walking Charlie regularly for a month and he absolutely loves her. He’s a big boy who can pull, but she is very patient and kind with him. She sends the cutest pics and keeps us up to date on anything she thinks we need to know about his behavior on walks. We highly recommend her as a dog walker!

Foxy seemed really happy and excited when she came back from her walk, which I could see on the camera! I would definitely love to have her help walk Foxy again whenever I’m out of town. Marisela was wonderful! I was in town for a month for work and she was so helpful walking my dog regularly while I was in the office. She was very flexible and responsive, and I could tell she put a lot of care in what she does. My dog loved the walks and I really appreciated the frequent pictures and updates! I would highly recommend booking her for your needs.

Esther did an outstanding job walking Mac who is very particular! She was kind and caring with him and communicated well when she and I needed to adjust the schedule slightly. I highly recommend Esther for your pet care needs!!! Thank you Esther for taking care of my fur baby MacGyver ❤️🎉😀

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
