For more than a decade she has been part of the lives of two of my dogs and my cat and I am so grateful for every minute. I live part time out of the country and when I am away, she stays in my home and treats them as they were her own. This summer our very old cat got ill while we were away. Jennifer let us know immediately and arranged for her to see a vet. She made sure she received fluids and medication and was comfortable until we could get home to be with her. This is something that I hope no pet-sitter has to go through, but I am so grateful if someone had to, it was someone who not only acted in the most responsible way, but also in the most caring. “I met Alice through a mutual friend who told me she loves dogs and took great care of her dog.  While I went on a 2 week vacation, Alice helped watch Pekoe my corgi. Prior to the trip, Alice asked me about Pekoe’s medical history, dietary needs/restrictions and temperament. Everyday she messaged me pictures and videos of Pekoe having so much fun at her place.  She had a lot of toys and room for Pekoe to run around. She was also very responsive which I really appreciate. About: Hello! My name is Maila. Since the age of 10, I’ve had all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, fish, and parakeets), so I really can’t remember a time my household wasn’t filled with critters waiting to be cared for. On top of caring for the pets I already own, I also have experience with fostering dogs and volunteering at animal shelters. Whatever your pet care needs are, I’ve got you covered. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work night shifts, so I am currently available to care for pets between 11am to 4pm every day. I can be available anytime during weekends upon request. I will make sure to closely follow any rules/instructions you may have to ensure that everything runs smoothly for you and your pets. About: I've taken care of dogs of all sizes, from 10 pounds to 100+ pounds. I've also had experience caring for cats, as I've worked in at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA in the cat TLC and kitten care center. I have been around animals since I was an infant and feel confident in my skills to properly give your fur baby pets the care and comfort they deserve.
