About: I've taken care of dogs since I was really little, I was always the kid asking to dog sit for the neighbors when they were out of town. I spent my first few years in university as a dog sitter and loved meeting so many different pups. I currently work part-time at a dog daycare! I love being outside, taking my dog to Golden Gate park and to the beach, or just quiet walks along the trail! I work part time at a doggy daycare in the city until 1:00pm so I would be available for drop-in visits and walks anytime after then. While I'm in the home, I ensure your pup is safe by not leaving any of my belonging where they can get to them, I respect your home by removing my shoes, not eating food while there and leaving it just as I found it. I have experience with reactive dogs, so when I'm out of the house with your pup, I keep the leash on at all times and always have a close eye on your pup. I prefer hands-free, loose leash walking when possible so that I can react quickly. I do not go to dog parks or allow your pup to meet with any other pups while on our walks. Depending on your preferences, I am happy to have a slow, casual walk and I am also happy for a high energy park or beach walk as well. Also with your permission, I do love treats and training on walks!

“My dog Ozzy is a senior dog that requires specific care and Shao made sure to accommodate perfectly! Ozzy gets little panic attacks when alone for too long sometimes and at times requires medication. She used her intuition and gave him his anxiety pill because she felt that he had asthma like symptoms and was restless. When I came home he was and snoring away peacefully. She fed, walked, and made sure to even put his shoes on for the rain even though it’s a bit tricky to figure out how to put them on! I look forward to having her take care of Ozzy again in the future, def recommend if you have a senior dog or any dog for that matter! 10/10.”

I am a college student and my work schedule is from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. I have class every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm. I’m available weekends and Friday night. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 5 years (maybe more). Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same as their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm). For house sitting, since I have a pet of my own (a cat 🐱), I would need to be home by 6:30pm to feed her for dinner. So I would prefer to care for your pet during the day, leave around 6pm, then come back the following morning to continue care. I am open to staying overnight but it would have to be 2 nights at max. Any house sitting stays more than 2 nights I would need to leave to feed my cat dinner and come back the following morning. When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care. Also for house sits, because I wfh and work with patients, please let me know of any cameras in your place and make sure to mute the microphones as I do not want to violate HIPAA.

About: Virtually 24/7 availability! I work from home and can provide care and attention for almost all day long. I have had dogs for about 20 years as well as lots of foster/rescue experience. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to. I have a fenced backyard and a small, friendly, neutered Pomeranian mix to keep your dog company! I am in a single adult home with no children.
