About: After relocating from Santa Cruz, where I operated a pet care business, I am now in South City and eager to meet new clients on Rover. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments throughout my life. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me for walks, feeding, overnight stays, and basic manners. I currently run Munchies’ Playhouse and live with two small dogs so I understand pack energy, leash reactivity, and dogs needing extra patience. We are within walking distance of Orange Dog Park for daily play and also have a private fenced yard, allowing socialization or quiet time depending on your dog’s preference. We often visit the beach and go hiking for exercise, but a separate quiet room is available if your dog prefers rest. I am comfortable with puppies, seniors, medication reminders, and dogs that do better on separate walks in their own neighborhood. All sizes are welcome. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m home 7 days a week, so pet care isn’t squeezed around another job, your dog can have as much time as they need. I offer weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I can usually do mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I plan around my own two dogs’ routines so everyone stays exercised and calm. Last-minute or extra visits are welcome when my calendar is open. Meet-and-greets required first so we can lock in a schedule that actually works for your pup. In my home, visiting dogs have a calm indoor space plus a private fenced yard. My two small resident dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Chiweenie) can keep your pup company if they’re social, or we have a separate room if they do better on their own or need a quiet place to rest. I follow your routine for feeding, meds, potty breaks, and crating. Walks are on-leash unless you say otherwise; dogs who need it get their own walk. We’re also walking distance from Orange Dog Park for playtime when that’s a good fit. I watch energy, appetite, and behavior closely and send photo/video updates so you always know how they’re doing.
About: I grew up with animals such as goats, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and rabbits. I currently have two cats that I’m obsessed with. I have furbaby sat for multiple furbabies in one household which one of whom who had a heart condition that required medication distribution 2x a day. I also helped ease anxiety ridden fur babies by being present, cuddling, create a song and dance number if they let me and taking a ton of photos. Also have had requests to take of care other pet babies such fishes and Guinea pigs as well. I ensure that all furbabies basic needs are met but also their social-emotional wellbeing. I have unconditional love to provide while their parents can do what they need with peace, ease, and comfort knowing that their fur babies are safe and cared for in a lovingly environment. I have the time and love to provide for fur babies as I given already given my time and care for human children while I was employed with child welfare. *PLEASE NOTE: While rover does not require a meet n greets (although highly recommended by them), I DO REQUIRE a meet n greet. This is to ensure that all of our furbabies get along and are safe. Safety is my number one priority. I am willingly to work with your schedule to ensure the meet n greet happens, however after 2 failed attempts to meet n greet, I will have to respectfully decline further services. Thank you and looking forward to caring and cuddles with your furbabies. I live on the top floor of a studio. Condo. My windows are safeguard so no furbaby can escape or be harmed. If there’s a specific schedule that needs to be followed (i.e dietary needs, meds, etc) i will need it in writing what that schedule will look like. I usually will wash all animal dishes prior to meals and ensure there’s adequate clean water supply at all times. I will provide walks, playtime, cuddles and medication(if necessary). I have great communication skills and will provide updates and photos upon request. I am near two parks where the dogs can play and walk while feeling safe.

“My dog Ozzy is a senior dog that requires specific care and Shao made sure to accommodate perfectly! Ozzy gets little panic attacks when alone for too long sometimes and at times requires medication. She used her intuition and gave him his anxiety pill because she felt that he had asthma like symptoms and was restless. When I came home he was and snoring away peacefully. She fed, walked, and made sure to even put his shoes on for the rain even though it’s a bit tricky to figure out how to put them on! I look forward to having her take care of Ozzy again in the future, def recommend if you have a senior dog or any dog for that matter! 10/10.”

About: I've had pets since I was a kid and have been around dogs and cats almost my entire life. I currently live with my partner and our two cats, Latte (13) and Miko (6). I recently lost Latte's sister, Mocha, this past May — she's dearly missed. Beyond my own home, my parents have three large dogs (Bobby, Luna, and Charcoal) and four cats (Mango, Gugu, Blu, and Eggy), and I help with their care whenever I'm home. This lifelong, hands-on experience means I'm comfortable giving medications to both dogs and cats, including for chronic conditions, and I've helped train our family dogs. My routine starts each morning by cleaning their litter boxes, feeding them breakfast, and giving medication to the one who needs it. Since I used to work from home, I got into the habit of cleaning the litter box right after they use it, so it stays as clean as possible throughout the day. In the evening, they get dinner and their nighttime medication. When it comes to our family dogs at my parents' house, I take them on individual walks of about 20–30 minutes each, since they can get a bit rowdy together and do better one-on-one. I bring this same level of consistency and attentiveness into a client's home — sticking to their pet's existing routine, keeping litter boxes and feeding areas clean, and administering medications exactly as directed.
About: Growing up I’ve owned many dogs and love them so much! They bring so much love in a household! I’ve also dog sat when I was younger. I just have so much LOVE for fur babies! As summer is approaching for the next month, I am working a full time job during the week and will be available after 3pm. However on weekends I am free to come play and check in on your pups throughout the day! I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to. I have a fenced backyard and a small, friendly, neutered Pomeranian mix to keep your dog company! I am in a single adult home with no children.
