“All I can say is that when you go on vacation and your a pet parent, the last thing you want is to worry about the well being of your dog. Well KATIE definitely gave me peace of mind and and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing that my dog Boris was in GREAT hands. After the meet and greet, I already had a sense of comfort because of her experience and super friendly demeanor. She also sent me pictures of Boris during walks and my family even told me that my dog can sense that she was close to come get him because he would start to act anxious and wait for her at the door. Knowing that truly solidifies her ability to love and care for your pet. If I ever need someone to walk/watch my dog(s) again, Katie will be my definite go to. THANK YOU KATIE! Oh...she also gave us a farewell dog toy and homemade chocolate chip cookies on her last day walking Boris. This is great customer service and definitely built a great rapport with my family and I.”

“Maya is a reliable and caring dog lover. She took great care in getting to know my shy dog and reassured me that my pet would be in good hands. I’ve gone ahead and booked her for much of May! Great experience.”

“Shirley's sister took care my old and stubborn dog very well. She doesn't force him to walk long, she read the dog's needs. My dog is healthy and happy to see her everyday. She communicated well with me also, sent me not only pictures, but also a detailed description about Milo's behavior and status.”

“I’m so glad I found Cheryll! She is the most responsive provider I’ve communicated with, and my little guy was immediately comfortable with her. Will definitely be requesting her services again. Thank you Cheryll!!”

“My puppy felt comfortable with Julia. She knows dogs and what to look for preventing him from eating stuff of the ground. I highly recommend her as a dog walker! Thanks Julia :-)”

About: Have volunteered at a cat shelter for six years with young and senior kitties, and have had puppies all my life! Very comfortable with the grouchiest or shyest of the bunch. I focus on socializing and enriching activities so that your kiddos can go straight to a nap after I leave. Happy to do some cleaning during my visit to keep things tidy. Laid off right now and apart from studying for a certification, I'm home and available for visits! My radius is set small so I should be a max ~10 min drive away, easy :-) When doing home visits it's important to me to show respect for you and your home while you're gone. Open to following any additional non-pet instructions to keep your home fresh!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature. I grew up with a dog and a duck, and have continuously lived in homes with cats and dogs through college and graduate school, so I’m very comfortable with their routines and behavior. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and keeping pets on their normal schedule. I also have three tortoises of my own, including one I’ve had for nearly 23 years, which has made me especially attentive to routines, environment, and long-term care. I am currently volunteering at the Kitten Nursery with the Peninsula Humane Society, where I help taking care of kittens too young for adoption. I have a very flexible schedule through freelance consulting work, which allows me to be available for pet care most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules, whether it’s regular visits or last-minute needs. The only consistent commitment I have is volunteering on Monday afternoons at the Peninsula Humane Society, but outside of that, I’m highly flexible and able to adjust to your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box or cleanup routines, exercise, and any specific preferences your pet is used to. I take a calm and patient approach, especially with shy or more independent pets, and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space. I also keep the home clean and organized, and treat it with the same respect I would my own. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or health and will communicate updates regularly so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of domestic animals since I was very young. Animals have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them, pets are part of our daily routine. My daily routine already includes caring for dogs. I run a small mobile dog grooming business, so I am used to being around pets every day. I’m also used to taking care of animals since I was young, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving attention to pets fits very naturally into my routine. I live in an apartment, but my complex has a dog park and very dog-friendly spaces. Pets will always receive attention, supervision, and a calm environment. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and follow the routine provided by the owner, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest.

About: My personal approach to dog care is grounded in genuine care for their well being. Working with my clients I provide prompt communication to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and healthy! Growing up my family had a beautiful 30lb dog that I helped care for from a puppy to old age. Being a part of this process has shown me how to support dogs in each stage of life from rambunctious puppies (structure, training and enrichment) to easing the aging process (special diet, new steps to climb onto the couch, shorter walks etc). Depending on the activity needs of your pup, I’m happy to provide daily walks or short runs (1-3 miles). I'm currently taking a gap year so I have plenty of time for your pups! I'm available weekdays and, with advance planning, can provide housesitting through weekends as well. I live in a single family home with three dogs. However, our family dogs like their space, and it is not available for dog boarding.

About: I grew up with labs and lab mixes. I have trained dogs previously. I spent several years volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind. Animals have always been very comfortable with me. I am currently looking for work, so I have a flexible schedule. I am able to be available as needed. I understand people's lives are busy, so I try to be flexible for the dog/cat's needs. I respect their home. I treat their home as if it's my own. I respect their fur baby's space. I would never harm an animal, especially one that's part of the family.
About: I’m a loving cat mom of 5+ years with a lifetime of experience caring for cats of all ages. I’m competent in simple dog training and am open to dog-sitting/walking, but cats are by far my specialty. I have proven experience building trust and bonding quickly with new cats, even those with behavioral issues or shy demeanors. I’m a teacher looking for extra summer work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry friends June-August! I can make up to 5 visits on weekends and 3 visits on select weekdays. I will be nannying part time and will be available before 2pm and after 6pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please message me with any questions! I am soft, gentle and empathetic with all new pets I meet, especially when I’m entering their safe space! My cat was a mean, shy little boy when I adopted him at 7 months; but now at 5 years he’s happy and comfy as can be. I hope to provide this same experience for your pets, whether it be a short drop in or an overnight visit.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13 years old, and have had cats and dogs for my entire adult life. I have helped friends and family take care of their pets for just as long. I love animals, and their well-being is my utmost priority. I have extensive experience and knowledge on what pets need from experience with my own pets and taking care of pets for others. When I am traveling or need to be away from home for any reason, my main concern is always whether my cats and dogs are happy and getting everything they need. My mission is to do everything I can to give you the worry-free experience I would want myself. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible around what you and your pet(s) need. I am available at most times of the day and on weekends/holidays. I understand that every pet’s need can differ based on the situation. I will care for your pet according to his/her individual need.
“I was in Tahoe and couldn't return home, so I urgently needed someone to walk my dog. Yao helped quickly despite my absence. Thank you very much for walking Ruby twice, in the morning and evening, on short notice.”

“Allison has been such an amazing "friend" to our dog, Kona. We can tell how much Kona is loved and cared for while we are away at work and school. We get regular updates on how Kona is doing, including pictures! Would definitely recommend Allison for your dog's needs!”

About: Hello! My name is Zara and I’m a 22-year-old recent graduate from UCSB living at home until grad school begins in September. I’ve been caring for and walking dogs since I was around 12 years old, and over the past four years I’ve gained extensive experience pet sitting and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I also spent a year providing pet care through Rover, where I cared for a variety of pets and connected with wonderful local pet owners. I absolutely love animals and treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. I have an 11-year-old labradoodle who I helped train when she was a puppy, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and lots of love are when caring for animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’m committed to making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! I am currently working some other houseitting/dog walking gigs but other than that I am completely free until mid August when I head abroad for the semester! Though I prefer a few days notice, most of the time I should be able to drop everything to help you out with your pets! I can easily take care of animals in an environment unfamiliar to me and am able to meet all of your pet-care needs! I unfortunately am unable to offer care for pets in my own home, but am able to stay and watch your pet in your home for as long as you need (including overnight!).

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, I am an animal person to the core. I have free time and would love to take care of your dog and provide my dog with a friend, win-win! I believe in sending LOTS of photos and updates, and making sure your animal baby is safe and happy while you are away! Your animal baby will be cared for as if they are my own. My fiancé and I both work from hom and our dog is 4 years old and super friendly. If your dog wants a friend to walk with or have a play date with or just stay the night, let me know :)! I'm taking time off from work and I'm free all the time. As for a routine, I take my dog for atleast 3 walks a day. We also go on trails hikes or to the beach. I treat any pet like it's my own. Having another dog around would be great! I communicate with my customers for any specifics or special requests within reason.

Lauri is absolutely amazing with our anxious rescue Piper. From the very first meet-and-greet where she showed up in bright colored leggings so that Piper could identify her, to her very patient steps to build trust and rapport with our pup and each family member (even remembering career paths and school trips!), Lauri is nothing but pure heart, sincerity, and kindness. This particular neighborhood walk turned into last minute daycare on our mutual continual conversations, when we all could see Piper coming out of her shell. One of Lauri’s many great talents is being able to discern the limits of our Piper — when to challenge her and when to give her space — and this gift has been rewarded with Piper welcoming Lauri with a greater speed than she ever has anyone else. We are thrilled to have found Lauri and know that she will be folded into our village for years to come.

va did an amazing job caring for and walking my dog, Riley, while I was traveling. She was extremely professional, responsive, and reliable throughout the entire process, which gave me a great deal of peace of mind while away. The biggest sign of how wonderful she was is that Riley was incredibly happy, calm, and content when I returned home. It was clear he was very well cared for and comfortable with her. I truly appreciated the communication and attention she provided, and I would absolutely work with her again in the future. Highly recommend!

I have books Trisha several times in the past and will continue to do so. My dog is a working German Shepherd who needs a firmer hand but also can be very affectionate if she trusts you. Tricia knows how to handle her, and has earned her respect which can be seen by the photos showing her years at 45° and that goofy grin that only comes out when she's comfortable around somebody. If you have a working dog, I definitely recommend Tricia. 👍 ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐

My dog and I have been so happy we found Perry. Perry does an amazing job walking, playing and monitoring Ocean. Ocean has. a chronic GI condition and also wants to eat anything he can get to in the house or on walks. I've had a hard time finding someone who can really care for my dog. Perry Is extremely talented at looking out for things Ocean can get at. He also does an excellent job of redirecting If my dog starts having episodes of leash reactivity. It is evident Perry has strong training taking care of dogs. I appreciate that he listens carefully to what the plan is when he drops in and the thorough report and pictures. Best of all, my dog is really happy whenever he sees Perry. I am extremely comfortable knowing Perry can take great care of my mischievous and often sick dog.

Zheng is a lifesaver! My dog has tons of energy, and Zheng did a fantastic job making sure he got a proper workout. I really appreciated the detailed Rover cards and the cute photos sent during the walk. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in such capable hands while I’m traveling
