I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

My first pet was a chicken at 7yrs old and had cats my whole life, even throughout college! My first dog was a female Shelted Sheepdogs (sheltie) then we got her a brother a year later. What fun sweet memories and joy having them growing up. Humans can learn a lot from our pets, their unconditional love & playfulness. Caring for animals is a privilege. Similar to raising children (I have two teens) and requires lots of awareness, love, patience, attention to detail, and kindness. Safety is always priority number one I work an office job from 8a-5p during the week and am available for pet care after hours, early mornings, and on the weekends. If a client is near my office or home I’m able to visit sooner. I live in a nice neighborhood near a great park and walking trails. My home is safe, organized, clean with fenced yard and two pets (dog & cat) to keep your fur baby company. If your pet is crate-trained I can support that too.

I pay close attention when entering or leaving the home and always check that doors, windows, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure. I will never let a pet off leash or introduce them to unfamiliar animals without the owner’s permission. I respect my client’s home, keep the pet’s space clean, and maintain their usual routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates and will contact the owner promptly if I notice any unusual behavior or health concerns.

“Rumi may have found her new favorite person in Lizbeth! Rumi is still a puppy and she can sometimes be a bit distracted while on walks. With Lizbeth, however, loose leash walking around the neighborhood wasn't a problem at all, even with skateboarders nearby and leaves blowing in the wind (her absolute favorite thing to lunge at). Lizbeth was communicative, prompt, and from the big smile Rumi had after she came home from her walk, you could just tell that Lizbeth has a special way with dogs. We absolutely loved our experience with Lizbeth and would highly recommend her!”

About: Have volunteered at a cat shelter for six years with young and senior kitties, and have had puppies all my life! Very comfortable with the grouchiest or shyest of the bunch. I focus on socializing and enriching activities so that your kiddos can go straight to a nap after I leave. Happy to do some cleaning during my visit to keep things tidy. Laid off right now and apart from studying for a certification, I'm home and available for visits! My radius is set small so I should be a max ~10 min drive away, easy :-) When doing home visits it's important to me to show respect for you and your home while you're gone.
