Pet care experience

🐾 Full-Service Dog-care Provider

After relocating from Santa Cruz, where I operated a pet care business, I am now in South City and eager to meet new clients on Rover. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments throughout my life. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me for walks, feeding, overnight stays, and basic manners. I currently run Munchies’ Playhouse and live with two small dogs so I understand pack energy, leash reactivity, and dogs needing extra patience. We are within walking distance of Orange Dog Park for daily play and also have a private fenced yard, allowing socialization or quiet time depending on your dog’s preference. We often visit the beach and go hiking for exercise, but a separate quiet room is available if your dog prefers rest. I am comfortable with puppies, seniors, medication reminders, and dogs that do better on separate walks in their own neighborhood. All sizes are welcome. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

I highly recommend Britney! She was wonderful from the very beginning and made our meet and greet such a positive experience.Britney communicated with me when she was running a little behind, which I really appreciated. More importantly, when I explained that my dog, Momo, does not warm up to everyone and can be difficult with new people, she was completely understanding and still wanted to meet him.It was clear right away that Britney genuinely loves dogs. She even shared that she has a dog who behaves similarly to Momo, which made me feel like she truly understood his personality and what he needed. She was patient with him and never tried to force interaction before he was comfortable. That meant a lot to me because Momo can become upset if someone insists on something when he isn't ready. Her patience, understanding, and genuine love for dogs really stood out. I felt comfortable knowing that she respected Momo's boundaries and allowed him to warm up at his own pace. I know I will be using her again for Momo

I recently requested Brittany to care for my dogs while I went on vacation and I was incredibly impressed! She kept us updated with photos and videos of our dogs having a blast, and we could tell she genuinely loved them. Our dogs were so happy and relaxed when we came to pick them up. I felt completely at ease knowing my fur babies were in very good hands. I highly recommend Brittany to care for your pets while you are away. If you’re looking for someone who has the utmost respect and love for animals look no further. You will not be disappointed in the least.

Brittany was very communicative and took great care of my pup. I trust her and look forward to having her help take care of my pup in the future!

Brittany gave my dog a true home-away-from-home boarding stay. Daily updates, lots of affection, and careful attention to his routine made all the difference. He was happy to see her and even happier when I picked him up. Highly recommend her as a loving and responsible pet caregiver.

Schedule

I’m home 7 days a week, so pet care isn’t squeezed around another job, your dog can have as much time as they need. I offer weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I can usually do mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I plan around my own two dogs’ routines so everyone stays exercised and calm. Last-minute or extra visits are welcome when my calendar is open. Meet-and-greets required first so we can lock in a schedule that actually works for your pup.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, visiting dogs have a calm indoor space plus a private fenced yard. My two small resident dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Chiweenie) can keep your pup company if they’re social, or we have a separate room if they do better on their own or need a quiet place to rest. I follow your routine for feeding, meds, potty breaks, and crating. Walks are on-leash unless you say otherwise; dogs who need it get their own walk. We’re also walking distance from Orange Dog Park for playtime when that’s a good fit. I watch energy, appetite, and behavior closely and send photo/video updates so you always know how they’re doing.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day is built around your dog’s energy and goals. Morning starts with a potty break, breakfast on your schedule, and a walk together with my two dogs if they’re social, or a separate walk if they do better that way. Midday we mix yard play, neighborhood walks, toys, and if you’d like it added, short basic-training sessions (sit, down, wait, loose-leash, name recall) and calm socializing for dogs of all ages. We can also go to Orange Dog Park or the beach if that’s a good fit. Older or low energy dogs get a quiet indoor spot to rest instead of being pushed to keep up. Evenings include dinner, another walk or yard time, and wind-down. You’ll get photo and video updates so you can see how the day actually went.

Please tell me ahead of time about feeding, meds, allergies, crate or sleep routine, potty cues, and anything around other dogs or people-especially leash reactivity, resource guarding, or “needs their own space.” I live with two small dogs, so I want to know if your pup prefers to socialize, do separate walks, or have a quieter stay. Let me know if they love the dog park or beach, or if they’d rather skip both and rest. Basic training and socializing for puppies through seniors can be added to walks, daycare, or boarding , just tell me what you’re working on (manners, leash skills, confidence around other dogs, etc.). All sizes welcome. Meet-and-greet first so we can confirm it’s a good fit for us both!
