“Toffee was cared extremely well by Yiteng and his wife during the full-day daycare period. This is the first time our dog Toffee went to a completely new place and be cared by a "total stranger", which made Toffee super stressed and hard to do her routine normally. But thanks to the loving cares Toffee received, Yiteng's wife made Toffee feeling like at home and getting comfortable in the new place very quickly. We received many update messages and videos/pictures during the day to see how Toffee was doing and also knowing that Toffee got full attention from the sitter. Another factor we liked the service the most is the nice outdoor environment where Toffee could walk around and do her potty break, which was similar to Toffee's regular routine that she used to while at home. This made it so much easier for Toffee to get acclimated quickly. We required specific feeding routine for Toffee starting with the soft food we made (need to be refrigerated) followed by the hard food. Yiteng's wife is so accommodating on all of our requests, never say NO to any of our suggestions. I am truly grateful for the super loving care Toffee got and I strongly recommend the service from Yiteng's family. I am definitely planning to book this service again.”

“Very clean home and our pup seemed like he really enjoyed his stay with Hui! She sent photos throughout the day and was very attentive. I appreciate her understanding and care with puppy. I hope she can watch Harvey in the future!”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
“Courtney is an amazing sitter. My dachshund Penny can be a bit shy at first but immediately warmed up to Courtney and her pups. She had the best first visit, was tired out and on second visit was crying to go inside right when we pulled up! Thank you Courtney for taking such good care of my Penny and treating her like your own!”

“Ming-Ching and Koko were fantastic with my shy dog. She sent many photos and videos of him throughout the day so I could have peace of mind that my dog was in good hands! He came home and slept well after a big day :)”

“Amanda is an absolute pleasure to work worth. She provides thorough updates to give you peace of mind when you’re away from your pet. Definitely looking to keep Amanda as one of my long term care takers for my dog when I’m away.”

“Katharine did a great job taking care of our dog for day care. She took her on several walks during the day, sent a few updates via Rover and took lots of photos. Our dog had a lot of fun, got great exercise, and we would definitely ask Katharine to take care of her again”

“Zhenting and her family were delightful, communicative, responsive, and most importantly so sweet to me and my puppy. I reached out in a pinch and she responded quickly, asked important questions, and made me feel comfortable about leaving my most important possession with her. Great experience and I’d recommend to any pet owner!”

“I'm sure my pup enjoyed the stay. Surya kept us updated on his food and we also got many pictures of our pup time to time. Would definitely chose him again to look after our boy. Thanks again for taking great care of Tusk!”
“Andy was so great with my enormous, energetic puppy! Took him on lots of walks, sent lots of pictures, and Beau was really excited to come back the next day and tired out when I picked him up. Thank you so much Andy!”

“Diana was so welcoming and accommodating to Teddy. They have a lovely house with a big back yard that he loved. She was also flexible with seeing whether Teddy would get along with other dogs she was boarding. The pictures she sent me that day made me feel like Teddy was in such good hands. He loved it there.”

About: Hi! I am Matthew, a reliable sitter who genuinely loves spending time with animals. I can always adjust to the energy of an animal to make sure they feel loved, safe, and understood. I have had a dog for almost my whole life and do great with my friends and family pets when I take care of them. I can always make sure to pay attention to your pet and give them whatever care they need whether it’s an hour walk or a nap after. I am a college student home for summer with some free time on my hands so I have the ability to be flexible. I keep a consistent routine with my studies, but can always make time for a loving pet. I care for pets by just trying to understand their needs. Having a dog for most my life has allowed me to know what is good for dogs and what is not, and I can always learn more to each dog specifically. Loving an animal is easy, so I will always care for them like one of my own.
About: I have an extremely flexible schedule (available during “work hours”/ weekdays). I grew up with small dogs and currently have a Doberman now. So I have experience caring for both large and small breeds. Since my Doberman is a working breed, we’ve attended many training classes over the last 3 years. When you book any services with me, you can expect fast communication and lots of updates with pictures and videos! I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! Majority of the time I’ll be doing work on my laptop remotely on a flexible schedule. I sill have plenty of time to bring your pups on walks. I wfh all weekdays so I will be able yo watch your dog and let them out every 2-4 hours. My bf also wfh so there will be a second pair of eyes to ensure the pups safety!
Laurel dog parents share their Rover experiences
Bettina was wonderful! I liked that she wasn't over eager to book us to ensure our puppy was the right fit in her home. For a 5 month old working dog breed, she was gracious in helping watch him while we had to go into the office. I appreciate her attention to detail and while Archer ate a leaf off one of her houseplants & chewed a rug :(, she was more concerned about his safety which I am grateful for. Thank you again, Bettina!

Jin took such great care of Pepper! She was attentive, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Pepper came home happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. We really appreciated the updates and the genuine care she showed throughout the stay. Highly recommend Jin to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter for their pet!

Archer had SO much fun. I've never seen him at home so exhausted 🤣 He passed out in his crate 10 minutes after getting home from pick up. Thank you, Heidi! She and her bf took great care of Archer on our behalf. We were very worried about his first Rover but they made it feel like such a breeze. Appreciate your help!

Annie is great! She is professional and experienced. She took great care of our dog, and he immediately bonded with the pack. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your pet like their own (and send great photo updates), Annie is the one. We’ll definitely book with her again.

Pitzy was fantastic!! Very easy going, calming personality and gets along great with dogs. This was our first Rover so we were a bit unsure how it would go but Pitzy made everything super easy. She got on the phone with us and took lots of pictures / sent lots of updates. Felt like she took care of Mia like her own. Can tell Mia had a lot of fun with her and looked forward to seeing her. 10/10 will recommend and will be coming back!!

Addie had an amazing time at Ming-Ching’s house! We’ll definitely be bringing her back for both doggie daycare and boarding. Communication was great, and we loved receiving pictures throughout the day—it gave us so much peace of mind. She clearly prioritizes safety and truly emphasizes attentive, thoughtful care. Highly recommend!

Julissa took excellent care of our dog, Sopita. Although our dog is a bit shy, Julissa did a great job at making her feel comfortable and enjoy her time at daycare. She also shared pictures of her settling in and on a walk which put us at ease. Would definitely recommend!

Michael is great… I messaged him on short notice and he was able to accommodate my dogs. One of my dogs is very old and he has some balance issues. Michael was great with him, and was able to determine his needs. My other dog was super happy at Michael’s place, when I went to pick him up he was running about with the other dogs! I would definitely go with Michael for all your dog related needs, he has really good dog insights, and you can trust that he will care for your pup(s)!

Chris took care of Camilo today and we had a really positive experience. He was kind, attentive, and followed all of our guidance carefully. He also kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind, especially since Camilo can be sensitive when we are not around. He took Camilo to the park and on a long walk, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy. Communication was smooth, he was respectful of our routine, and very easy to coordinate with. We would absolutely trust Chris with Camilo again and highly recommend him to other pet parents looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and caring.

My dog really loves Kimberlin. On the very first day when I picked up my dog from daycare, he went to Kimberlin and he was saying goodbye. He doesn’t usually do that to anybody especially on the first day of daycare. Kimberlin made sure that my dog was well taken cared of and she gave me updates throughout the day. Kimberlin is very gentle and kind to my dog. I highly recommend her and I am grateful that I found her.
