About: Dogs have been a big part of our lives. We adopted Bruno, our beloved Labrador Retriever, with whom we spent 11 years until he fought bravely with cancer but could not win. Bruno socialized me to his friends like Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Corgis, Golden Retrievers and many more and helped me understand that each dog, irrespective of his breed, has a unique personality and temperament. Thus, please do tell us about your dogs unique traits and his phobias so that we can make him feel at home. This is important for us to know as dogs undergo huge stress to be away from their home. After Bruno passed away, we adopted Rex, Labrador Retriever, who has helped us heal and made us realize how important dogs are in our lives! Both, me and my wife WFH and have flexible working schedule. So one of us will be at home to take care of the pack. We have Rex, a Labrador Retreiver, who goes on walks 2x times a day for 2-3 miles everyday. If the dog is staying with us, based on his needs, he can join us on our walks. Plus, we have a fully fenced backyard for dogs to play and run freely. Often, we take break from our work and play with our dog in the backyard or go for a small 5-10 min walk outside our home. For everyone’s safety, the dog should get along with kids and other dogs. Please let us know if there are any health issues and/or food allergies. My wife and I have experience caring for senior dogs, and both of us are comfortable administering medications as needed.

“Pouneh is wonderful! From the beginning, she responded to my messages right away. We did an initial meet and greet at the local park. Nana immediately took to her and her daughters! I knew Nana would be happy and in good hands. Drop off and pick ups: I need to do an early drop off and it’s been super smooth. It’s easy to park in front and get Nana out safely and since we arranged that I send my ETA, Pouneh was already waiting outside ready to take her. Picking her up was also super easy. I texted ETA and she had everything ready with Nana. Again, parking was easy and available in front. Pouneh is very experienced and patient with dogs. She also has extra supplies like bowls, blankets, towels, leashes, etc., making it easier with less things to lug around. Nana looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up that first day and each day since. I am happy to recommend Pouneh to anyone for doggie care and I will for sure rebook whenever I need an extra hand. Lastly, props to Rover as well. This is a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always found great people here with sometimes short notice.”

About: I’m a dog mom to Pepper, my 9-year-old rescue, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry baby with someone else. I’ve cared for friends’ pets for years, and I also have foster experience — I cared for an 18-year-old senior dog for 9 months until he found his forever home:). I’m calm, patient, and attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they need a slow walk, playtime, senior care, cuddles, or quiet company. I’ll treat your pet like my own and send updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. We work from home, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. We usually do a morning walk, some playtime in our private driveway around lunchtime, and an evening walk or park time. On very hot days, we avoid walking in the middle of the afternoon and prefer safe playtime in our shaded/private driveway instead. We live in a townhouse with a long private driveway, a nearby dog park, and several dog-friendly parks in the neighborhood. It’s a very dog-friendly area, and many of the neighborhood dogs already know and get along with our rescue dog, Pepper. At home, I focus on a calm, safe environment with supervision, patience, and care based on each dog’s personality and comfort level.

She sent us plenty of pictures and videos throughout the day to keep us informed, and we could tell Juno was having a blast just from the photos. About: Hello! I'm Priscila and am excited to provide your pets a vacation home they'll look forward to while you are away. I know it is hard to leave your furry family member behind. I started Rover because I have pets of my own and love animals and love caring for them! I started working hybrid and have to go into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays, but my partner works from home. So between the two of us we would be happy to provide your furry babies with a nice, comfortable home, and you with some peace of mind! Skills and Experiences: - Senior animals care - Medication application of various types - Puppies and kittens - Teeth hygiene - Bathing and grooming - Basic training (even for cats!) I will mostly care for your pet, but my partner will look after them on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the work day. So between my partner and I, there is always someone home. Working from home allows us to take breaks in the middle day to walk your pet and give them some one-on-one time. I am an active person and can run, hike, bike, or walk with them. There are hills with lots of free land near me that I love taking my dog to get some exercise when it is not too hot. I am available weekdays and some weekends! I do travel a lot though so my availability is all over the place. As a result, I most likely won't be free most holiday weekends since I'll most likely be traveling with my dogs. However, don't be afraid to ask, and hopefully we can work something out! I live in a house with a fenced yard. My senior dog is gentle and harmless with other animals. However, he is an anxious dog who barks his head off when around larger dogs, and because this is also his home, I would love to do meet and greets to make sure our pets are compatible so my dog is not too stressed with your pet (and vice versa).
About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. About: My wife and I have been dog owners for close to 6 years now and we absolutely love them. We have a medium sized dog named Kona and she’s an absolute bundle of joy and love Im currently at home full time and my wife works full time so ill be available all day to make sure the pups are having a great time and playing I live in a 2bd apartment with a decent sized fenced dog play area. When I’m not playing with kona there I usually take her for a walk around the block and around downtown.
