“James and Jasmine are hands-down the best dog sitters we’ve ever used. They are incredibly professional and took the time to understand Toby’s specific routine and needs. It was clear from the start that they genuinely love dogs and treated our Toby as their own. They were super reliable and kept us up to date with Toby's activities and sent us daily pix -- they truly went above and beyond to make sure Toby was comfortable and happy. We will definitely be booking them again! Thanks again guys!”

“Karla took good care of dog and sent pictures. She was responsive to my messages as well as flexible with pickup and drop off times. Will be glad to request her services again in future.”

“Alexa took wonderful care of Mugsy! Before our stay she made time for a meet and greet to ensure it was a good fit. She was very communicative throughout the process and Mugsy’s stay with her. We got lots of pictures and updates which gave us peace of mind. Mugsy came home a happy dog!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.

“Nina and Leo were great! Quick communication and they were very understanding of our dog’s separation anxiety. We dropped our dog off on Christmas Day and it was great knowing he was in good hands on a holiday!”

“I had an pawsome experience with Ruo during Tyler’s stay. She kept me updated with walks, Tyler’s mood and pictures after initial meet and greet. She shows great care for my son. “Deborah did a fantastic job caring for my little guy, Boba. As it's my first time using Rover, she shared consistent updates with photos/videos, which put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond, took him on walks/parks, and made Boba feel well cared for and happy. Boba had the time of his life under Deborah's care.”

About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.
“I can’t recommend Sarah enough as a dog sitter. My dog, Teddy, absolutely loves staying with her—he gets genuinely excited every time he realizes he’s going back, which says everything. What I appreciate most is how incredibly detailed and consistent her updates are. Every day, she sends multiple photos and videos—Teddy eating, playing, going on walks, and even updates on how he’s doing overall. She keeps me fully informed, down to small but important details, so I never have to wonder how he’s doing. It gives me real peace of mind knowing exactly how his day is going. It’s also clear that she truly cares about the dogs she looks after. She takes Teddy on walks, to the dog park, and even on hikes, making sure he stays active and happy. On top of that, her home environment is wonderful—her two dogs and her cat are all very friendly, and Teddy gets along great with them. He’s not just being watched; he’s having a great time. Whenever Teddy stays with Sarah, I know he’s safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy. I fully trust her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“I absolutely recommend Charlotte as a great pet caregiver! During our trip to Japan, she and her family including two adorable daughters took great care of our dog, Jessie. She regulary walked Jessie and secured play times every single day. She always kept us posted by messages along with the nice photos so that we could rest assured by understanding how gently, friendly, and carefully Jessie was taken care of by them. We will definitely come back to her for next occasions going forward!”

“Chiara took such good care of my senior dog, Mighty Mouse and I'm so glad she was available. Not only was she so kind during our meet and greet, she was so prepared to accommodate all his gear and special requests to stick to his routine once it was time for his stay. Chiara also took really cute photos of him to send to me. We'd gladly rebook with Chiara.”

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! About: As a fellow dog parent, I know just how important it is to find someone who'll love your pup like their own. I've learned so much from raising my sweet Cavapoo over the past 4 years - including navigating separation anxiety and training challenges with help from the awesome folks at Cali K9 and Zoom Room. All these experiences have made me a patient, understanding caregiver who knows every dog is uniquely special. Your furry friend will have a blast joining us for adventures in our local parks and trails, where we keep tails wagging with plenty of fun and positive reinforcement. I've had the joy of caring for many pups with different personalities, and I always make sure each one feels safe, happy, and right at home with us. Let's give your dog the loving attention they deserve! I'm thrilled to share what a typical day would look like for your pup! I've marked my calendar to show the days I'm home and fully available to focus on caring for your dog. Since I work from home on these days, I'm here to give your furry friend lots of attention and care. We follow a fun routine that includes at least three energetic walks daily, plus plenty of playtime with our collection of toys to keep everyone happy and engaged! I do pop out briefly for my gym sessions, but I'll always keep you in the loop about my schedule. Your dog will never feel lonely - they'll be right by my side throughout the day, getting all the love and attention they deserve! I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously

“On skittish, shy dog warmed up to Keli very quickly. He gets lots of love and walks with Keli and I love that she keeps me updated on how his day is going. We are so happy we found Keli.”

“Alexandra and her family are amazing with our corgi Olive. She has been going for daycare and always comes back happy and tired after a long day of playing. We love all of the photo updates that Alexandra sends throughout the day. She is kind and a great communicator!”

“Allison has been absolutely amazing with our puppy, Lulu! She has great communication, is very flexible, and clearly truly cares about the dogs she watches. From the beginning, she took the time to ask detailed questions about Lulu’s routine so she could keep everything as consistent as possible while we were away. She sent pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious Lulu was happy and well cared for. What really appreciated was that even though Lulu is still in training, Allison continued the habits and routines we’ve been working on at home. There was no disruption when Lulu came back to us, no acting out or setbacks. We will absolutely be repeat clients and would recommend her without hesitation. If you want someone who will genuinely care for your pet like their own, Allison is your person!”

About: I have periodically taken care of a family members dog which also included home stays (two week maximum), outdoor adventures, and beach visits. I currently do doggy day outs at pet shelters when needed and have had no trouble in the past. I have always been a dog lover and enjoy meeting new furry friends daily. I currently work with the city of Redwood City during the night shift so my days are completely free and I’m looking to fill them with friendly fun companions as we take adventures together and create wonderful memories for your pups I have a furry nephew by the name of Larry who is a golden retriever that loves meeting new people and animals on the daily. We usually go for walks after breakfast everyday then come home for a small nap. Once the good boy is up from his name we will have lunch then follow up with an afternoon hike or a walk by the water to introduce him to new smells. I do have a fenced yard that has plenty of space for play dates or doggy days in as well as a loving mother that cooks homemade dog food for our furry friends which we have had no trouble feeding them and accommodate to our furry friends needs.

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.

“Esmeralda is wonderful with our golden retriever! She is calm, attentive, and engaging, gets in sync with his personality, and lets him enjoy being outside for an adventure, read the daily doggie news or just hang out listening to music. She is a professional when it comes to her canine care so we are confident when we leave our pup with her. Thank you Esmi!! 😁”

“Sandy was great! I had an unexpected neck/back strain and she was able to walk Charlie on very short notice for a few days. It was the first time for Charlie to go on a walk with a stranger and I was surprised to see how with only a little encouragement he followed Sandy without issues. Sandy was always right on time, kept perfect communication, and took pics of Charlie during the walk. Charlie was happy to make a new friend and liked Sandy from the first day. I will be booking more walks with Sandy when I need some extra help.”

“Deborah is great! She is reliable and flexible. I really appreciate her updates every day. Not only does she let me know she walked the dog, she tells me how far they went and how energetic my dog was. With an elderly dog, it is important to know those things. She fills the water bowl if its low and offered to take my dog to the vet for a nail trim while i was at work! Best of all my dog loves her! I highly recommend Deborah.”

“Gloria was very punctual and communicated extremely well with me. She was able to help me out last minute and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of their furry friends!”

About: I have had spent many years loving and caring for dogs. I believe we make each other happy. A pet and a walk can go a long way to make a dog enjoy their lives. I feel that dogs need a great deal of love and care like all animals. I will do my absolute best to keep your dog safe and happy during visits. Feel free to contact me to assist your and your special dog. You and your doggie will not be disappointed. I am very fit and can walk and play for hours. I live by hiking trails for dogs and have a safe yard complete with fenced in chickens and a tortoise. Lets, play , pet and have some wonderful experiences.

About: What sets me apart as a pet caretaker is the genuine attention and patience I give every pet I care for. I have hands-on experience caring for dachshunds, and much bigger dogs, including both a senior dog and a younger dog, so I understand that every pet has different needs depending on their age and personality. I am a student at UC Santa Cruz, but will be home for the summer working a part time job, ready whenever to take care of your pet. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets in a client’s home. I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and kept in a clean, calm, and secure environment. I have experience administering medication carefully and following specific care instructions to make sure each pet stays healthy and comfortable. I’m also familiar with crate training and maintaining consistent routines that help pets feel safe and reduce stress. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, needs, and comfort level so owners can feel confident their pets are being cared for in my care.
“Margot is amazing, she is a great communicator and does great with my dogs. Always on time, really cares to make sure they get a great walk in and get their food, and let’s me know if anything is amiss! Really appreciate her :)”

“Patrick was outstanding. He listened patiently to my nervous dog's needs and by the end of the walk they were friends. He went above & beyond to make sure Cody & I were both comfortable. Kind, communicative, flexible & punctual. We will definitely be meeting again.”

“Ray was great with Jimi! Jimi is leash reactive and not friendly with other dogs, plus he is very strong, so I’m always worried when someone else walks him. But I felt extremely confident with Ray walking him. He also spent extra time with Jimi and they played in the backyard after each walk. Additionally, I appreciated how communicative Ray was with me and all the pictures that he sent while I was away. I can’t recommend Ray enough!”

A dog's life is as good as we make it, and I'm committed to making it a good one! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I have a fully fenced yard. I like to take breaks and walk with the pups on local trails right outside my door. I have a dog friendly van as well for longer transport. I have our dog to care for so it's easy to add another 1-3 to the mix :) I have a large fenced in yard, also live within walking distance to nearby off leash dog friendly parks and natural areas.
