I've marked my calendar to show the days I'm home and fully available to focus on caring for your dog. Since I work from home on these days, I'm here to give your furry friend lots of attention and care. We follow a fun routine that includes at least three energetic walks daily, plus plenty of playtime with our collection of toys to keep everyone happy and engaged! I do pop out briefly for my gym sessions, but I'll always keep you in the loop about my schedule. Your dog will never feel lonely - they'll be right by my side throughout the day, getting all the love and attention they deserve! I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously

About: I have periodically taken care of a family members dog which also included home stays (two week maximum), outdoor adventures, and beach visits. I currently do doggy day outs at pet shelters when needed and have had no trouble in the past. I have always been a dog lover and enjoy meeting new furry friends daily. About: I've been around animals almost my whole life. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR. Currently available all day and can be available for evenings and/or overnights if needed. Happy to spend time with your pet when you're not able to so they have company until you return home! As a life long animal lover, I understand pets are more than just an animal, but they're part of the family. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the day. Once the school year begins, I typically start work at 7:45 a.m. which means I’m also available for morning drop-in visits before work if needed. After work, I’m generally available beginning around 4:30 p.m., as well as evenings and weekends. I strive to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. My husband and I live in a spacious 1,200-square-foot, two-bedroom apartment with our calm, friendly 8-year-old Lab/Weimaraner mix. We have plenty of room for dogs to relax indoors, along with easy access to a large grassy area right outside our home for bathroom breaks. We also live next to a walking trail, nearby schools with open fields, and two local dog parks for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and socialization. Every pet is different, so I’ll always follow your preferences and routine, whether that means leisurely neighborhood walks, playtime, or simply sticking to familiar habits. I carefully introduce dogs when appropriate, supervise interactions, and provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own. I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :) My large backyard is fenced. My husband Dave and I often are asked by friends to help train their dogs because we love to help and are good at it! :)
