“Esmeralda did house & cat sitting for us while we were away for 2 weeks. She was terrific! She saved our vacation when we had a truly last minute kitchen faucet leak. She took care of emptying out the bucket we placed under the pipe on a daily basis and even took out all the wet items from under the kitchen sink cabinet and dried them off for us. She even got a bigger bucket from her own home to help with our situation. She made our kitty, Uli, very happy, playing with him and petting him. We could see how happy he was. About: I'm open to most types of pet sitting and have a hybrid work approach so more often than not am able to stay for the majority of the day with your furry child! I love walking in general, playing with dogs, cats, and appreciate that every pet has their own personality. Pet setting has always been a source of joy in my life and creating long standing relationships with families and their pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be treated with a wagging tail or a tail straight up depending on the pet :) and know that sending photos of their fur friend is bringing peace of mind to a family. I understand how much a pet means and am willing to go the extra mile to fit your families needs. I'm a graduate student getting a masters in clinical psychology in the evenings, which means I am available most days of the week and weekend during the day. I know I'm in good company here in saying that I treat my own cat like she's a part of my family. With any animal I'm taking care of I do my best to adhere to the schedule that the pet is used to in an effort to maintain a sense of normalcy when their family is away from them. I usually like to get to know what each pet likes and make sure we are trying to do some of their favorite activities to make their time positive. I make a concerted effort to keep the home neat and tidy each day so that the pet is also feeling clean and comfortable, but also so that the owners know that I respect not only their pet but their home. Depending on the preference of the owner I find it fun to send a small daily update which includes a photo and how the pet is doing overall.
About: I have been around and cared for animals for as long as I can remember! In the past I have worked at a pet care and boarding facility for over four years and I have four pets of my own. Constantly being around animals has taught me a lot and I am committed to continue learning . I am comfortable handling any breed of dog, energy levels , and size. Older dogs that might need medication are also no problem. I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animals. My biggest goal is building trust with and your fur baby and providing the best care possible. I currently work fully remote so my schedule is very flexible and I am available when needed!
