About: Hi! My name is Taylor, and I'm a caring animal lover who understands that pets are family. I've owned dogs my entire life, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether you're heading to work, taking a vacation, or just need an extra hand, I'm committed to making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at PetSmart, where I was responsible for caring for all of the animals on the sales floor. This included feeding, cleaning habitats, monitoring their health and behavior, and ensuring they were comfortable and well cared for each day. That experience taught me the importance of paying close attention to animals, recognizing when something may be wrong, and providing consistent, attentive care. I offer pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection and attention. I know that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to follow your instructions carefully and provide individualized care. I'm responsible, detail-oriented, and someone you can count on to treat both your pets and your home with respect. I understand how important communication is when you're away, so I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your furry, feathered, or scaly family member is doing. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible while giving your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve. I strive to create a calm, positive experience so they can stay happy and comfortable in their familiar environment. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life. I've owned dogs my entire life, so I'm very familiar with feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, grooming, and making sure pets get plenty of love and attention. Additionally, I have owned English bulldogs, so I am very familiar with any special medications your pets may need. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so dog walks are something I genuinely look forward to! I am currently a student at Foothill College, so when I'm not in class, my schedule is pretty flexible, allowing me to provide morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend care depending on your pet's needs. I understand the importance of consistency in a pet's routine and will do my best to maintain their normal schedule while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their familiar environment. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special routines or preferences. I make sure pets always have fresh water, plenty of exercise and attention, and a clean living space. I also provide regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.

“Nina and Leo are the perfect pet sitters ever ! They took great care of our cat Pepper while we were away. They sent me photos every day and they really tried to adapt to our schedule for the dropping on and off of our keys ! They were extremely caring and attentive to our cats needs ! I will recommend them 100% and will rebook them again ! Thank you for taking care of Pepper !”

“Julia Mae took great loving care of Dexter. Thorough updates and lots of picks to make this momma feel like her baby was being well taken care of. And to find a sitter on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day who sacrificed their time was a true gift. Thank you - Christine and Dexter”

“Jonah took wonderful care of our cat, Nali, while we were gone for a month. They were caring, communicative, and responsible. We will definitely reach out to them the next time we are out of town!”

“Danielle is such a great pet sitter. If you are looking for someone you can count on and feel comfortable/safe with leaving with your pet, Danielle is the way to go. Danielle took care of my 2 cats for two days. She followed our instructions, asked clarifying questions, and took lovely update pictures of my two cats. From getting to know Danielle to exchanging keys to the updates received in the rover card, she made the process simple and I knew I could trust her. I felt super comfortable and safe knowing my cats were in great hands. Thank you Danielle for the great care and lovely pictures!”

About: I’ve had experience caring for and spending time with both small and large dogs, including dogs belonging to family and friends. I’ve also provided overnight care for a senior dog, which included following a medication schedule and making sure they received their food properly. While I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality, and I’m excited to provide reliable, loving care. I especially enjoy spending time with dogs and would love the opportunity to take them on walks, give them plenty of attention, and help them feel happy and comfortable while you’re away! I recently finished college and will be starting a full-time job, so I’m looking to provide pet care during my available hours. I’m especially interested in morning dog walks or drop-in visits around 5–6 AM, as well as afternoon availability after work. Other than that I can work weekends but open to accommodate any hours for specific needs. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide dependable, loving care while you’re away! I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs, and I’m committed to following any instructions provided by their owner. I’ll always treat your home and belongings with respect and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, care, and supervision. My goal is for you to feel confident and worry-free while your pet is in my care.

“Alex is a phenomenal pet sitter! I booked him for drop-in visit for my cat, El Gato, and he exceeded all expectations. He was highly communicative, incredibly punctual, and clearly has a natural gift with animals. Alex made sure to send great updates and great pictures, giving me total peace of mind while I was away. If you want a sitter who will genuinely care for your pet and treat them like family, look no further than Alex. I will be booking with him again!”

About: I would love to take care of your dog or cat! I am a foster parent with the Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA who was recently laid off from a tech job, so I now have time to spend loving and caring for animals. I love animals! I grew up with a dog (a Golden Retriever) and two cats, and I am now a foster parent for the Peninsula Humane Society, so your pet(s) would be in good, experienced hands. Through my foster work (and caring for my own animals over the years), I have developed lots of experience giving a variety of medications and treatments to animals with many different needs, should that be necessary. In fact, my previous cat required daily insulin shots and heart medication, so I am comfortable and used to giving injections and pills. Looking forward to hearing from you and giving your baby all the cuddles and play he or she wants! I was recently laid off from a tech job, so I am available full time to care for your animal while I look for another job. I have a fenced yard that a dog could run around in. I have a 3 year old cat who is very friendly and adaptable, but I can keep him separate if your animal is not a fan.

Marilyn is the absolute best! We have a senior kitty named Zelda who is on a daily medication. Right before we left for an international trip we needed to find someone quickly who felt comfortable giving a senior kitty medication, but would also help give her the love and attention she needed while we were gone for an extra long trip. Marilyn had no fear and quickly picked up the task! Marilyn was very knowledgeable on the medication and found ways to help give Zelda the medication comfortably. She also sent us so many amazing photos and daily reports so I knew exactly how Zelda was doing. Marilyn is simply one of the best humans and we will definitely be booking again with her in the future!

Thien-Nha is absolutely wonderful and I’m so lucky to have found her. She’s reliable, responsive, and incredibly kind. Even my super shy kitty came out of hiding to say hello when Thien-Nha came over. I feel she really goes above and beyond for our pets and that is simply invaluable. Will definitely hire her again for our next trip.

Genesis was great from the start kind, reliable, and easy to communicate with. My cat is usually very shy and keeps to himself with new people, so I was honestly surprised (in the best way) when he came out and greeted her right away and seemed completely comfortable. That really stood out to me. She was responsible, dependable, and communicative throughout, and everything went smoothly. I would absolutely book Genesis again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

Vanessa was great with our small dog grizzly and two cats. Grizzly can be grumpy but Vanessa won him over quickly and everything was very smooth. She was flexible, communicative, and professional. We will definitely book again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for someone to take good care of their pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
