About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.
“Karla is the best! She communicated great and sent tons of pics. I also felt like she really understood my pup and her personality. Definitely will come back. Thanks Karla!”

“Great couple! Very responsive. They really took care of my dog and I can tell that my dog had a great time at their home. I received the photos of my dog every day and knew that my dog was treated very well. Highly recommend!”

“My doodle Maya boarded with Jifu and Jessica for 12 days over the 4th of July. They updated me with pictures which was what I needed while away from my dog. They took good care of my dog. I like the fact that they also have a dog that was a good companion for my Maya. I would definitely use their services again for future boarding.”

“Tillana was so easy to communicate with, and very friendly. The pups LOVED hanging out with, Tillana and a few other fur friends. My pups, I’m sure, will be exciting to play again soon!”

“Cali loved her overnight boarding time with Alexa D. This was my first time as a Dog Mom using Rover and Alexa made me feel totally at ease leaving my high energy pup with her. She was an attentive communicator and patient with all of my questions. We had a meet and greet beforehand where we shared information and anything noteworthy about Cali. Alexa's knowledge of dogs, her experience, and all of the ways she cares for them were impressive. Thank you Alexa for taking such care of my baby girl!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“I can’t recommend Sarah enough as a dog sitter. My dog, Teddy, absolutely loves staying with her—he gets genuinely excited every time he realizes he’s going back, which says everything. What I appreciate most is how incredibly detailed and consistent her updates are. Every day, she sends multiple photos and videos—Teddy eating, playing, going on walks, and even updates on how he’s doing overall. She keeps me fully informed, down to small but important details, so I never have to wonder how he’s doing. It gives me real peace of mind knowing exactly how his day is going. It’s also clear that she truly cares about the dogs she looks after. She takes Teddy on walks, to the dog park, and even on hikes, making sure he stays active and happy. On top of that, her home environment is wonderful—her two dogs and her cat are all very friendly, and Teddy gets along great with them. He’s not just being watched; he’s having a great time. Whenever Teddy stays with Sarah, I know he’s safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy. I fully trust her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“Olga, Igor and family took great care of our young-at-heart doggie! It was our first time using Rover and Olga was exceptionally kind, responsive and caring. We really appreciated the extra touches too like putting an air tag on our doggie’s collar. We highly recommend Olga and Igor!! Thank you!!!”

“Alissa took good care of Kody and sent us photos daily during his 5-day stay. We could see that he was being well cared for, taken on daily walks, and happy and that gave us lots of peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Alissa.”

“Chiara took great care of Peanut, my 16yo deaf semi-blind senior dog who requires several oral and eye medications. She also provided a daily update with photos and was very easy to coordinate with.”

“Ruo was an amazing dog sitter for my little pup! She had him for 5 days while we were away and I could tell he was super happy and well loved. Highly recommend and we will absolutely use her again.”

About: I’ve cared for cats all throughout my life since i grew up with one, and have experience feeding, playing with, and providing companionship to cats with different personalities and needs. Friends, neighbors, and family members have trusted me to check in on their pets while they were away. I understand the importance of keeping cats comfortable in their routine, maintaining clean food and water bowls, and giving them plenty of attention and care. I am patient, dependable, and committed to making sure every cat feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: My home has always been a place where cats are family. After recently saying goodbye to my own sweet senior cat, I realized I wanted to care for kitties. I’ve decided to have our space exclusively for feline guests, offering a pet-free, dog-free sanctuary where your cat is the sole focus of my day. Because I don't have other pets, your kitty will enjoy a truly cage-free and peaceful environment. Whether they want to stretch out in a sunbeam, explore the living room, or find a cozy nook for a long nap, they have the run of the house. I specialize in making cats feel safe and truly seen, especially those who might be a bit shy or overwhelmed by traditional boarding. Having spent many years caring for my own elderly companion, I have a very soft spot for senior cats. I am patient with their quirks, attentive to their comfort, and fully experienced in administering medications (pills or liquids) with a gentle touch. To me, cat sitting isn't just about feeding and scooping; it’s about the connection. I love the ritual of a daily brushing session, the quiet companionship of a cat sitting nearby while I read, and making sure they feel pampered and loved while you’re away. I’ll send you regular photos and updates so you can see your cat’s personality shining through in a home that truly cherishes them.

“Amber was fantastic. I came home to a happy and healthy pup. She was a good communicator, left detailed recaps of her visits, and took great photos! I will definitely call on Amber again the next time I have to go out of town.”

“Thien-Nha is absolutely wonderful and I’m so lucky to have found her. She’s reliable, responsive, and incredibly kind. Even my super shy kitty came out of hiding to say hello when Thien-Nha came over. I feel she really goes above and beyond for our pets and that is simply invaluable. Will definitely hire her again for our next trip.”

“Michele was so wonderful with my cat Sona while I was out of town! She spent so much time with her, checked in frequently with lots of photos and videos, and I came home to a very content and happy cat. Would highly recommend!”

“Great cat sitter, my Loki loves her. Very in tune with what he needed. Left apartment looking good, all of the cat stuff in good condition. Very responsive with great pictures of a very happy cat! Will not only hire again but will definitely recommend!”

“Dani did an absolutely amazing job with our kitten Maddy. She was so quick to respond to me when I was looking for someone to drop in and visit our cat during our out-of-town trip. We got a detailed report every day, along with a bunch of really sweet photos. Maddy can be a bit particular and uncomfortable around strangers, but it seems Dani was able to quickly get her to open up and play. It really meant a lot to us to know that our cat was being taken care of so well and diligently while we were out of town. Dani clearly loves animals and is fantastic at her job, I will definitely be calling her again the next time Maddy needs a buddy while we’re gone. Thanks again Dani!”

About: I have been cat and dog sitting since I was 16! I have experience walking and pet sitting for neighbor’s, friend’s and family’s animals. I also grew up with dogs so I am very comfortable with all ages and sizes of animals! I have experience volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society from college so I have formal dog walking training! I just finished a contract working at Stanford and have some extra time in my day now. I am big on taking my daily walks outside and any pet can join me! Other than exercising I spend most of my day doing work and reading being a couch potato. I always try to work with the pets routine and stay flexible. I am big on making the pets comfortable (usually with treats and floor time) around me. I like to spend time with pets in their home before taking them on walks or letting them out. I can follow any rules set and any training that needs to be enforced as well.

“Excellent service, exceeded our expectations. Our kitten Lucy took to Lina the day they met and I couldn’t be happier. Loved the pictures of our kitten while we were out. Haven’t traveled with such a peace of mind for our beloved pet before and won’t want to again! Thank you Lina :)”

About: We’ve fostered around 20 pups and volunteered at a senior center with our pup, bringing comfort and joy to others. These experiences shaped our calm, patient, and loving approach to every dog we care for, with 20+ repeat clients. We both work remotely from home, which means your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Dogs in care are never left alone for long periods and settle into a relaxed, home style, cozy routine. We focus on providing a calm, peaceful environment. Dogs are treated like family, enjoying neighborhood walks, playtime, naps, and quiet time. Only accepting calm, well mannered dogs who are comfortable sharing space and not prone to resource guarding, which helps maintain a safe and stress free home. The home is set up for comfort and calm, providing extra dog beds in multiple areas, cozy resting spots, and a variety of toys and enrichment items to keep dogs comfortable and engaged. Dogs are free to relax, play, nap, and move around at their own pace. Because we work remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine and, with always being home, allows for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Plenty of grassy areas and walking paths near our residence, making outdoor time easy and enjoyable. The schedule is structured but flexible, adjusting to each dog’s energy level and normal routine. Available on weekdays and weekends, can accommodate extended stays, and aim to support last minute bookings when possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is clean, calm, and well supervised, and the dogs are never left unattended. We follow each pet’s routine closely and introduce dogs thoughtfully to maintain a peaceful environment. We take dogs out for frequent potty breaks and daily walks, always with safety in mind. Crate if requested, but most dogs relax freely indoors with cozy spaces to rest. To help you feel confident and connected, we provide daily photo and video updates, and we're always happy to send additional photos, videos, or text updates on demand. You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. We also recommend a meet & greet prior to boarding to ensure we’re a great fit and that your dog feels comfortable in our home.

About: I’ve lived with cats most of my life, and caring for my gentle senior, Chiquita, showed me how much felines value calm, predictable spaces. I give every new cat time to settle, watch for subtle body-language cues, and keep litter boxes impeccably clean. I’m comfortable slipping pills into food or giving oral meds on schedule, and I stick to exact feeding times to avoid upset stomachs. Boarding guests stay in a quiet, sunny room with window views and soft blankets. For drop-ins, I scoop, refresh water, share a few play-sessions, and send you a reassuring photo or short video each visit.
“Our sitter randomly left our pets and Alex stepped in to save the day. He took care of our pets really well even finding our 2 cats stuck in the bedroom. Would book again!”

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! Time availabilities: I am available for daycare drop offs 7-9am and daycare pick ups 6-9pm I am available for boarding drop offs starting at 9am and pick ups ending by 9pm. Child free home with two adults who WFH. I am available for drop offs and can be flexible M-F; weekends I like to take our guests on hikes to Pulgas Ridge or Stafford Park. Please be up to date on flea/tick meds! * I am not able to take human aggressive pets * Dogs are taken on two walks a day, offered as many potty breaks needed, access to water and toys 24/7, and play times with friends! “Ava dogsat our dog Tequila and was absolutely wonderful! Tequila had a great time with Ava and her dog Ginger, and Ava kept us updated with photos throughout the day. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Allison has been absolutely amazing with our puppy, Lulu! She has great communication, is very flexible, and clearly truly cares about the dogs she watches. From the beginning, she took the time to ask detailed questions about Lulu’s routine so she could keep everything as consistent as possible while we were away. She sent pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious Lulu was happy and well cared for. What really appreciated was that even though Lulu is still in training, Allison continued the habits and routines we’ve been working on at home. There was no disruption when Lulu came back to us, no acting out or setbacks. We will absolutely be repeat clients and would recommend her without hesitation. If you want someone who will genuinely care for your pet like their own, Allison is your person!”

“Darling young sitters who took great care of our Sandy. She was very comfortable with them and they sent quite a few pictures to put our minds at ease. It was super convenient since we had an appointment at Stanford Medical Center and they live right on Stanford campus.”

About: I have periodically taken care of a family members dog which also included home stays (two week maximum), outdoor adventures, and beach visits. I currently do doggy day outs at pet shelters when needed and have had no trouble in the past. I have always been a dog lover and enjoy meeting new furry friends daily. I currently work with the city of Redwood City during the night shift so my days are completely free and I’m looking to fill them with friendly fun companions as we take adventures together and create wonderful memories for your pups I have a furry nephew by the name of Larry who is a golden retriever that loves meeting new people and animals on the daily. We usually go for walks after breakfast everyday then come home for a small nap. Once the good boy is up from his name we will have lunch then follow up with an afternoon hike or a walk by the water to introduce him to new smells. I do have a fenced yard that has plenty of space for play dates or doggy days in as well as a loving mother that cooks homemade dog food for our furry friends which we have had no trouble feeding them and accommodate to our furry friends needs.
“Brisket had the best day with Keli and her family and even got to go on a hike to a new to him spot for the best new smells. Keli was very communicative with me and I really appreciated her flexibility in meeting with us ahead of time for a meet and greet. Brisket will definitely be back!”

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.

We’re would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help walking their pup!”

“Peanut had his trial day with Shannon today and everything went great. She took wonderful care of him, kept us updated with lots of photos, and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. We could see that he was happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again in the future”

“Deborah is amazing!! Snoopy was taken on a lot of walks. She was kind to him. She fell in love with him and it made the whole experience. It’s just absolutely amazing from the very beginning. I would highly recommend her. She is a very caring person and you can tell she loves animals.”

She was great about keeping me updated on his day and sending pictures which I really appreciated. Honestly I think she is the best sitter we have ever had! Highly recommend and we will absolutely use her again.”

“Manli was terrific! Beautiful home and a pleasant environment. She sent me daily pictures of how my Mac was doing, which was especially great given this was his first time boarding in someone's home (instead of a kennel). Highly recommended!”

“Poppy had a great stay! Margaret was so patient and thoughtful getting Poppy settled and comfortable with her crew. Communication was just right to put my mind at ease and see that Poppy was having a great time.”

“Bagheera had very good care with Jess and Kimmy. Their big fenced yard and friendly dog made him comfortable, and he became attached to Kimmy! I will definitely ask them to care for my little sweetie again!”

“Aoran was absolutely amazing with Leo! He kept Leo super connected by sending photos every day. He also made sure to take him out for fun walks and activities. Thanks a bunch!”
“Our dog Shasta had a great time with Ava while we were out of town. She took her on lots of walks and provided pictures of her stay. She has a great yard and lots of room for our dog to have fun.”

About: Hi! I work from home and have flexibility to watch another dog from time to time. My pup is a golden retriever adopted last year, she is very friendly and knows how to give older dogs their space and has been exposed to younger puppies which she also does well with. I have a perfect backyard for fetching, sniffing and sunny 😎 naps. I have flexibility to watch your pup during weekdays and weekends. I have our dog to care for so it's easy to add another 1-3 to the mix :) I have a large fenced in yard, also live within walking distance to nearby off leash dog friendly parks and natural areas. I have many pet beds and can also provide a crate if needed.
“I highly recommend Ying for anyone seeking a reliable and attentive pet sitter. She was incredibly thorough, followed every detailed instruction perfectly, and kept me at ease with regular photos and videos. One of my dogs bonded with her immediately, which is the ultimate endorsement. I couldn't have asked for a more professional or caring experience!”
