About: I grew up with dogs and have fostered for the past several years, so being around pups of all ages and personalities feels completely natural to me. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog and learning what makes them feel safe and happy. I live in Menlo Park and work fully remote, which means your dog will have plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. My husband has a hybrid schedule so our apartment is calm and spacious (3 bedrooms with a large balcony) - ideal for daytime care. We’re also just a 5 minute walk from a large park, and I’m able to take several walks a day while building in playtime and rest as needed. I know that dropping off your dog means trusting someone with a very important part of your life. I don’t take that lightly! Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.

About: I’ve always had a big heart for animals. I adopted a stray cat from the streets abroad, and I still help strays wherever I go. I’ll stop at gas stations during road trips to buy them food, and whether I’m on vacation or just going about daily life, I always make sure to feed strays when I see them. I’ve fostered many dogs through Pets In Need, including five Chihuahuas who had only lived in an RV for three years and were extremely fearful when they first arrived. After fostering one of the Chihuahuas for 1.5 years, I adopted her. With patience and care, she learned to feel safe and confident again. I also adopted my first dog at age three. Both of my dogs were once very scared of people, and with love and consistency, I helped them become confident and trusting. Together, we’ve fostered around 20 pups and volunteered at a senior center with our pup, bringing comfort and joy to others. These experiences shaped our calm, patient, and loving approach to every dog we care for, with 15+ repeat clients. We both work remotely from home, which means your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Dogs in care are never left alone for long periods and settle into a relaxed, home-style, cozy routine. We focus on providing a calm, peaceful environment. Dogs are treated like family, enjoying neighborhood walks, playtime, naps, and quiet time. Only accepting calm, well-mannered dogs who are comfortable sharing space and not prone to resource guarding, which helps maintain a safe and stress-free home. The home is set up for comfort and calm, providing extra dog beds in multiple areas, cozy resting spots, and a variety of toys and enrichment items to keep dogs comfortable and engaged. Dogs are free to relax, play, nap, and move around at their own pace. Because we work remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine and, with always being home, allows for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Plenty of grassy areas and walking paths near our residence, making outdoor time easy and enjoyable. The schedule is structured but flexible, adjusting to each dog’s energy level and normal routine. About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
