About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.

About: I'm an experienced dog owner with over 15 years of dog care experience. I have three dogs of my own and fostered 36 dogs throughout my childhood, giving me familiarity with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. While I've been away at college, I've really missed spending time with my dogs and would love the opportunity to walk and care for yours! I am very available this summer for either regularly scheduled or one-off visits. I will be in the area and able to take care of your pets until late September. I am very attentive to detail and will be sure to follow all instructions. I can be easily reached by phone and will stay in regular contact as needed. I have experience working with anxious dogs (both my own and others I've cared for), and I am comfortable walking dogs who may not be friendly to other dogs. I cannot watch dogs at my house, but I am comfortable stopping by your home for visits.

About: I have taken care of dogs/cats since I was 10 around my neighbourhood and for friends and families! I also grew up with dogs in my family I am currently home for the summer from college, until August 31st, I have tons of flexibility! About: I'm open to most types of pet sitting and have a hybrid work approach so more often than not am able to stay for the majority of the day with your furry child! I love walking in general, playing with dogs, cats, and appreciate that every pet has their own personality. Pet setting has always been a source of joy in my life and creating long standing relationships with families and their pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be treated with a wagging tail or a tail straight up depending on the pet :) and know that sending photos of their fur friend is bringing peace of mind to a family. I understand how much a pet means and am willing to go the extra mile to fit your families needs. I'm a graduate student getting a masters in clinical psychology in the evenings, which means I am available most days of the week and weekend during the day. I know I'm in good company here in saying that I treat my own cat like she's a part of my family. With any animal I'm taking care of I do my best to adhere to the schedule that the pet is used to in an effort to maintain a sense of normalcy when their family is away from them. I usually like to get to know what each pet likes and make sure we are trying to do some of their favorite activities to make their time positive. I make a concerted effort to keep the home neat and tidy each day so that the pet is also feeling clean and comfortable, but also so that the owners know that I respect not only their pet but their home. Depending on the preference of the owner I find it fun to send a small daily update which includes a photo and how the pet is doing overall.

I've learned so much from raising my sweet Cavapoo over the past 4 years - including navigating separation anxiety and training challenges with help from the awesome folks at Cali K9 and Zoom Room. All these experiences have made me a patient, understanding caregiver who knows every dog is uniquely special. Your furry friend will have a blast joining us for adventures in our local parks and trails, where we keep tails wagging with plenty of fun and positive reinforcement. I've had the joy of caring for many pups with different personalities, and I always make sure each one feels safe, happy, and right at home with us. I've marked my calendar to show the days I'm home and fully available to focus on caring for your dog. Since I work from home on these days, I'm here to give your furry friend lots of attention and care. We follow a fun routine that includes at least three energetic walks daily, plus plenty of playtime with our collection of toys to keep everyone happy and engaged! I do pop out briefly for my gym sessions, but I'll always keep you in the loop about my schedule. Your dog will never feel lonely - they'll be right by my side throughout the day, getting all the love and attention they deserve! I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously
