“Michael and Tyler were divided a truly wonderful and happy stay for our little girl. They welcomed her and made her feel right at home, and she clearly had such a blast with them. It’s so reassuring to be able to leave her with people who are going to love her and care for her as you would yourself. We will have no hesitation in leaving our girl with them again in the future.”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“I highly recommend Ying for anyone seeking a reliable and attentive pet sitter. “Sein took wonderful care of Maggie over the long weekend! They kept me updated with frequent photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Maggie got plenty of playtime and walks, and Sein even spent time working on her zigzagging during walks, which I really appreciated. Their apartment was clean, and their dogs were calm and friendly, making it a great environment for Maggie. I highly recommend Sein and would happily book with them again.”

“Meerim took wonderful care of Machi. She created a warm, attentive environment and kept us updated with detailed daily messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Her responsiveness and clear communication made a huge difference during those moments. We truly appreciated how proactive and caring she was throughout the entire stay. We would absolutely call upon Meerim again and look forward to working with her in the future.”

“Ivan was so good to Toko and Arya while I was gone! They're both small dogs who are reserved around new people and new dogs. Toko came to him with a broken foot and a bunch of built up anxiety since he couldn't exercise, while Arya has way too much energy. He was very careful to make sure Toko stayed comfortable and couldn't injure himself, but also took Arya on several long adventures. Ivan sent me many great photos and daily updates of the pups while I was on vacation, which greatly reduced my own anxiety over them staying over! I could tell they had a great time, and I won't hesitate to book Ivan again!”

“Jifu did a great job taking care of my dog Taco. Taco was shy and afraid as this was his first stay away from family. Jifu was patient with Taco, and he was able to get more comfortable after a day. I received updates and photos from Jifu during the stay. I would book Jifu again. Thank you!”

“I can't say enough about how Jesse & Kimmy rose to the occasion for our family. We contacted them for the first time, and they responded immediately with "we'd love to help you out." That was definitely an indication of how communicative and positive they are. They brought our 3-yr old dog into their home with open arms, and not only made him feel right at home, they provided updates constantly. So much so, I felt like I was in tune to how he was doing the entire time we were gone. We were very grateful for their loving & attentive services. They are a dog's dream - trust them - we did and we didn't regret it!”

“Deborah is amazing!! Snoopy was taken on a lot of walks. She was kind to him. She fell in love with him and it made the whole experience. It’s just absolutely amazing from the very beginning. I would highly recommend her. She is a very caring person and you can tell she loves animals.”

“Alissa is so great! She took such a great care of my needy dog and I could tell he loved her from day one 😅 she was providing me with the updates daily and was so flexible and friendly. I’ll definitely leave my dog with her again next time when I need to travel somewhere. Highly recommended!!”

“This was Yogi’s first time away from home, and Cynthia made sure he was well cared for. She sent us lots of updates (which we requested) and Yogi looked so happy the whole time. We weren’t sure how he’d do since we only adopted him a few months ago, but he seemed to have such a great time! Would book again!”

“My husband and I traveled all the way from Texas to watch the World Cup match, and we were looking for someone trustworthy to take care of our Keeper. Finding Yasemin was truly the best decision we could have made. While we were enjoying the game, Keeper had an amazing day filled with love, cuddles, and attention. She treated him like he was her own fluffy little pup. We received plenty of photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll leave Keeper with Yasemin again without a second thought. Thank you so much for everything! We hope to see you again soon. 🐾”

“Nina and Leo were great! Jackson was very happy. He loved his walks and their sunny yard. Jackson has separation (or isolation) anxiety, but Nina and Leo were there for him, ensuring that he has contented. They were great!”

“We had a last minute trip come up a week before leaving but Daniel was available and happy to watch Bean on short notice. He was knowledgeable, knew exactly what to do, and sent pictures and videos of Bean during the 2 day stay. We knew Bean was in great hands - he looked comfortable and like he had a great time with Daniel.”

About: I've been around cats for years and own a cat of my own, so I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I'm patient and take the time to let them warm up at their own pace! In addition to my personal experience, I worked at PetSmart, where I cared for the cats available for adoption. I was responsible for feeding them, cleaning their enclosures, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping ensure they were comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. This experience taught me how to recognize changes in behavior, provide gentle care, and create a calm, low-stress environment. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I'll carefully follow your cat's routine, keep litter boxes clean, provide fresh food and water, spend quality time playing or cuddling (if they enjoy it!), and send regular photo updates so you can feel confident they're happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: Firm yet loving care for all dogs, specializing in puppy training, high energy, hiking/running, and managing complex medical needs like seizures, food sensitivities, and limited mobility. Currently working from home with flexible time which allows me to integrate training, walks, play time, and medical monitoring throughout the day, while weekends are dedicated to long runs/walks and trail hikes. My approach to pet care is rooted in structure, trust, and genuine affection. My services will be tailored to each dog's needs indoors or outdoors.

“Chelsea did an amazing job taking care of Ralph! She communicated well, gave thorough updates, and was trustworthy. I will definitely ask her to take care of Ralph again in the future!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Cordigan on Rover! She was incredibly communicative and professional throughout my trip, which gave me so much peace of mind. What really stood out was her attention to detail and the care she took with my cats. They are usually very shy and tend to get stressed when I’m away, but when I came home, they were calm, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. That honestly says everything. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable pet sitter.”

“Dani is the absolute BEST!! She went above and beyond and took amazing care of our two cats on our trip. We will definitely be booking her for all of our future trips. THANK YOU again, Dani!! :)”

“Octavia took care of our cat, Roni, while we traveled with our dogs. We came back to a happy cat! I’m grateful we have found Octavia. She does a great job and is very communicative about how everything is going when we are out of town.”

About: I’m a dedicated cat owner myself and have had my cat from 12 weeks old to now over 10 years old, so I understand how important it is to find someone patient, attentive, and trustworthy to care for your cat while you’re away. In addition to my personal experience as a cat mom, I worked professionally in a cat boarding facility where I cared for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs, from highly social cats to shy, anxious, or more independent temperaments. I’m comfortable following detailed feeding and medication routines, monitoring behavior and appetite, and giving cats the space and calm environment they need to feel safe and comfortable. If you want many adorable pictures and videos of your fur baby while you're away, I'm your gal!

About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.

“We have used Renz several different times and he’s always been great! Pepper loves he and his partner and their sweeeeet dog, Whiskey. Renz is very easy to coordinate with, follows all my instructions, troubleshoots intelligently, is skilled in obedience training, and seems to really enjoy learning Pepper’s needs. He has access to a variety of dog parks and trails, including agility structures, so I know Pepper is always going to have fun and be stimulated. Highly recommend!”

“Stacey was great to work with! She was a great communicator, made pick up and drop off very easy and checked in with me throughout Bogey’s stay. My pupper seemed super comfortable and at easy with her and her dogs as well. Will definitely be working with her again :)”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. I am very comfortable around dogs and want your dog to be happy. I am very clean and want to be considerate of your space.
“My puppy loves visiting Dalia! When we pull up, she jumps out of the car and runs to the door with excitement. Dalia always makes sure my puppy gets a good walk and a nap in, and she comes home in a great mood.”

“Pouneh is wonderful! From the beginning, she responded to my messages right away. We did an initial meet and greet at the local park. Nana immediately took to her and her daughters! I knew Nana would be happy and in good hands. Drop off and pick ups: I need to do an early drop off and it’s been super smooth. It’s easy to park in front and get Nana out safely and since we arranged that I send my ETA, Pouneh was already waiting outside ready to take her. Picking her up was also super easy. I texted ETA and she had everything ready with Nana. Again, parking was easy and available in front. Pouneh is very experienced and patient with dogs. She also has extra supplies like bowls, blankets, towels, leashes, etc., making it easier with less things to lug around. Nana looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up that first day and each day since. I am happy to recommend Pouneh to anyone for doggie care and I will for sure rebook whenever I need an extra hand. Lastly, props to Rover as well. This is a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always found great people here with sometimes short notice.”

“Our puppy had such a great time with Ying! She was super attentive to all our puppy’s needs and sent lots of pictures. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Her dog has also been a great playmate for our puppy, so they get lots of energy out too.”

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
“Great service from Michael! Potter had a good time with Chloe and some other pet friends! Michael took well take care of him today and took him for a walk. Michael made sure he had a good time and that he had some fun with his friends. I will definitely use his services again ☺️😉😁”

“The absolute best! Sarah is a miracle worker. 🌟 I cannot recommend Sarah enough! My dog, Hotpot, a Shiba Inu, is definitely not the easiest pup to handle. He has historically struggled with resource guarding and gets highly agitated around food. I was naturally nervous about leaving him, but Sarah managed him with so much patience, care, and expertise. Under her care, Hotpot has made incredible progress: • Better Manners: He is now way more patient, especially around meal times. • Socialization: He actually learned how to play and peacefully coexist with other dogs! Seeing him thrive and grow under her care was the best feeling. If you want a sitter who genuinely cares and knows how to handle complex dog behaviors, Sarah is the one!”
“Alissa was so sweet! She accommodated our last minute booking due to an urgent need and I felt so lucky that we found her! She also took amazing pictures of my dog ?❤️ We'd have definitely gone to Alissa again if we didn't move out of Seattle. Highly recommended!”

“Chelsea is wonderful! She hosted my pup Ollie for daycare and sent cute photos of him having a blast along the way. She’s also very responsive, kind, and accommodating. Would highly recommend!”

“I highly recommend Kelsey. She is professional, always on time, responsive, and so sweet with my dog. My dog is so happy to see her the second she comes in the door. She always provides updates and a picture, and goes the extra mile to make sure that there is water in his bowl. Would highly recommend!!”

“Mike was perfect. I contacted him last-minute and we didn’t even get to do a meet and greet. He figured everything out with our house and our dog loved him right away. Mike communicated clearly and frequently and gave our dog the attention and activity he needed!”

“Josh was great with my dog. Firm but not aggressive or hostile with my spirited Samoyed. Griffin loved going with Josh on his walks with Josh 's great dane and little terrier. It was a small, medium and large trio lol. Josh was punctual, reliable and gave the full hour. Would recommend 🙂”

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.
“Octavia is amazing! Very communicative and knows how to handle dogs incredibly well. Her dog training experience is super key and nice to have. She's been able to help our dog already not react as strongly to other dogs passing by. She's definitely becoming out go to person to take care of our dog in San Jose.”

About: Since I was a child I always had dogs with me, I think they are the noblest creatures in the world and they deserve exceptional life and care, my dog's name is Clyde he is a super dog, he has a great level of intelligence, he is a really polite and happy dog. I believe that having a job like this one is more than PRRRRFECT 😍! I'm the type of person that if I walk and see someone walking a dog I make eye contact with the dog first than with his human. Patience is one of my main characteristics when we talk about dogs, I have always thought that I have a natural connection with them, they give me confidence and I inspire confidence to them. I am currently a student at Foothill College, so Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to balance my class and homework schedule while earning some extra income. My schedule is pretty flexible since I'm only taking one class at the moment. I'm available for house sitting and dog walking services. Since I live in a small space, I'm not able to offer boarding, but I'm happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home or take them on walks. I also have a 15-years-old dog who has been my loyal companion and best friend for many years. Caring for him has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive pet care. Looking after animals, including my own, is one of my top priorities, and I'll treat your pet with the same love and care I give to mine.
“Danielle is calm and wonderful with Jax. He was re-homed in August and this was his first walk with a dog walker. He was a little anxious, but Danielle knew just how to comfort him. He seemed to miss her when she left, watching out the window after her for awhile after she left.”

“Nabil took wonderful care of Raisin for two days. It was Raisin’s first time staying away from home, so we were a little nervous, but Nabil and Sunny made her feel comfortable and safe. She quickly warmed up to them, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she was well cared for and treated with kindness. We truly appreciated the updates and the loving care Raisin received. I would highly recommend Nabil to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Fang is an amazing sitter! She is very communicative and sends photos, videos and updates throughout the day and night. She did an amazing job watching Four. It’s always hard to leave your fur baby, but I can tell that Four had a great time and enjoyed all the love and attention.”

“My foster dog Baby had a wonderful stay with Tanya and her daughter. Their home is basically doggy heaven, and Baby enjoyed the huge lawn and tons of love and care accordingly. Baby looks forward to her next visit!”

“Yun was an excellent sitter for our dog Orzo! Our friends who usually watch Orzo were out of town, and Yun was happy to accomodate our booking within a week’s notice. Yun was communicative and sent us daily updates on Orzo’s behavior. We especially appreciate the fact that Yun was flexible with Orzo’s pickup time — our flight was late which made us ~45 min delayed in our agreed upon pickup time. Thank you, Yun! 🤗”

“Chelsea was absolutely wonderful! She made the Rover experience so easy and gave us complete peace of mind. She was caring, communicative, reliable, and clearly treated our pup like family. We got great updates and came home to a very happy dog. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely recommend Chelsea to anyone!”

“Katie and Jason are great dogsitters (and super friendly humans in general)! They took great care of our pup Kiwi, who can be anxious and slow to warm up to people, and they understood that Kiwi needs to go at her own pace. Upon handoff, they immediately took her for a quick walk around the block which helped ease the transition, and by that evening, Kiwi was comfortable and asking for pets. Katie and Jason are quick to respond and kept us updated with both many adorable photos and brief recaps of walks or fun things that happened in the home. They accommodated our late pickup time with no fuss and had everything prepared: the bowls were washed and dried, and the blanket was folded. Highly recommend these two! Kiwi would love to stay with them again. Thanks Katie and Jason!”

“When I met Jae on the meet & greet I knew she was a very conscientious dog owner and Bella would be in good hands. She took great care of her and she was open to taking Bella without a lot of prior notice. She sent photos and kept me informed on how Bella was getting along. I would not hesitate to leave Bella again with Jae.”
