“Michael is a fantastic dogsitter! He takes the dogs on looooong walks and sends lots of photos. My only complaint is that I think my dog liked him better than us and sulked the day we brought her home!! But that's not his fault!”

About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.
“Lucky had a wonderful time staying at Sein’s home! She took great care of her and kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos of Lucky’s daily life, along with detailed summaries of her routine—meals, playtime, and potty breaks. This really put our minds at ease while we were away. Sein was also very responsive and always quick to answer any questions or concerns. Lucky clearly enjoyed her stay, especially spending time with the other dogs and cats. We truly appreciate her care and will definitely bring Lucky back again in the future!”

“Nina and Leo took great care of our greyhound/Great Pyrenees mix. They were great about updating us everyday on how he was doing (walks, bm’s, etc). They were very thorough in understanding his schedule and needs.”
About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own. I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :) My large backyard is fenced. My husband Dave and I often are asked by friends to help train their dogs because we love to help and are good at it! :)
“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Jesse and Kimmy were so great with our dog, Henry! Some quick points we really appreciated: -Had us fill out an in-depth questionnaire about feeding/exercise/health/behavior -Sent plenty of videos/photos/updates, incredibly communicative -Only takes in a few other clients simultaneously -A meet and greet with their own dog -Fenced front and back yard -Someone is always home -We got to take home a cute polaroid of our pup at the end :) We highly recommend to have your pups stay with Jesse and Kimmy!”

“Svetlana was great! Our dog was loved and cared for, and I would not hesitate to leave her again in such good hands. I appreciated the daily updates and pictures of walks, play, and lounging at home. Svetlana was super responsive to all of my questions and was such a nice person to interact with. The overall experience was fantastic.”

“Levi had a great time staying with Guillermo and Siobhan. This couple really loves dogs. Their resident dog Maisie was a wonderful buddy for Levi and their large shaded yard provided a nice environment to run around and stay cool.”

“Kathryn and Jason were amazing pet sitters for our labradoodle while we were away! Great communications, easy to schedule drop off/ pick up, and most importantly they were very caring for our pup. She clearly had a great time with them. We will definitely book with them again!”

“This was Yogi’s first time away from home, and Cynthia made sure he was well cared for. She sent us lots of updates (which we requested) and Yogi looked so happy the whole time. We weren’t sure how he’d do since we only adopted him a few months ago, but he seemed to have such a great time! Would book again!”

“Jennifer was absolutely amazing and took such good care of my sweet and energetic Australian Shepherd. She was easy to communicate with, and I got pics of him having so much fun playing with her pups, zooming in her backyard, and going on walks throughout his stay. He was in very capable hands, and I will definitely book with Jennifer again!”

“Karla took good care of dog and sent pictures. She was responsive to my messages as well as flexible with pickup and drop off times. Will be glad to request her services again in future.”

“Jax had the best time staying with Joyce and her family. I knew he would receive lots of attention and loving care. I am looking forward to using Joyce for my Rover needs in the future! :)”

“Alissa took good care of Kody and sent us photos daily during his 5-day stay. We could see that he was being well cared for, taken on daily walks, and happy and that gave us lots of peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Alissa.”

“Kora had a great stay! Photos and updates were provided daily. Kora, bring an older dog, needs medications daily and help with stairs. She came home a happy dog! Would highly recommend Matthew and Kate!”

“Kristine was so wonderful when we had family in town. She was very flexible on timing and showed up exactly when she said she would. Kristine was so kind and helpful to our pups who had to get fed at dinner time. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to book her again!”

“Really appreciate Nina and Leo coming during this extreme heat and taking such good care of our two cats. And making the extra effort for Dusty as she’s so shy. They were very courteous and communicative. Was very relieving to have them drop in and feed and take care of the cats when we were not around. Thanks!!”

“Cordigen was wonderful and went above and beyond for our two cats while we were traveling. We massively appreciated the pictures and updates about our cats but also how Cordigen regularly took in packages and made sure everything else was in order in our home. Thank you, Cordigen!!”

About: I’ve had cats all my life. I can't remember a time growing up when we didn't have at least one feline friend in the home. I have lots of experience caring for cats with special needs, and I provided hospice care for one of my senior cats, having to administer shots, pills, and IV bags on a strict schedule. I understand how difficult it is to leave a special-needs pet in someone else's care, but with me, your cats will always be in good hands!
“Kelsey took such good care of my cat Rhys and I am grateful for that and for the updates and photos she sent my way! Highly recommend Kelsey for pet sitting! And I already have her booked for my next trip! Thank you Kelsey!”

“Our cat Sesame loved Thien-Nha! We were also able to enjoy our time away knowing she was in her capable and caring hands. Very reliable and excellent communication - will definitely book her again!”

“Julia was great! She went above and beyond for our cats. She went above the call of duty and really made sure our cats were well cared for. We very much appreciated all that she did for us and our little ones. We would definitely hire her again!”

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for cats of all ages including kittens to seniors, I've learned that every cat has their own personality, routine, and quirks, and I love getting to know each one. I'm comfortable working with cats who have special needs, whether that means extra patience, a specific feeding routine, or anything to soothe the more anxious ones. I also have a decade of hands-on experience administering medication through food, so if your cat needs pills hidden in their favorite treat or a specific dosing schedule followed closely, I've got you covered! I have my own cat who is a TNR rescue from my back yard that over the years through patience and love has been able to live her best life. It's always a pleasure to spend some time with other cats and fulfill my kitty fix. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your sweetie!

“Genevieve was very thorough and provided check-ins and followups in unclear situations (e.g. my cat has a medical condition and she was attentive and checked with me on his symptoms regularly). She also cleaned my apartment/countertops on the last day which I really appreciated!”

“We had Danielle come for a short visit 2 days while we were gone for 4. She checked on our kitty, gave her some food and water, scooped some litter. Communication was great. First time Rover user, overall great experience.”

About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.

About: My home has always been a place where cats are family. After recently saying goodbye to my own sweet senior cat, I realized I wanted to care for kitties. I’ve decided to have our space exclusively for feline guests, offering a pet-free, dog-free sanctuary where your cat is the sole focus of my day. Because I don't have other pets, your kitty will enjoy a truly cage-free and peaceful environment. Whether they want to stretch out in a sunbeam, explore the living room, or find a cozy nook for a long nap, they have the run of the house. I specialize in making cats feel safe and truly seen, especially those who might be a bit shy or overwhelmed by traditional boarding. Having spent many years caring for my own elderly companion, I have a very soft spot for senior cats. I am patient with their quirks, attentive to their comfort, and fully experienced in administering medications (pills or liquids) with a gentle touch. To me, cat sitting isn't just about feeding and scooping; it’s about the connection. I love the ritual of a daily brushing session, the quiet companionship of a cat sitting nearby while I read, and making sure they feel pampered and loved while you’re away. I’ll send you regular photos and updates so you can see your cat’s personality shining through in a home that truly cherishes them.

About: I have been looking after Jinx - my roommate's cat - ever since I moved to Redwood City at the beginning of 2025. My roommate has gotten a lot busier lately, so I took it upon myself to look after Jinx: playing with her, feeding wet food, cleaning her feeding bowls, and scooping & changing her litter. She's definitely less lonely now, and she loooves the Costco boxes & Cat Dancer toys I got her! I ensure a safe, clean, and stress-free environment for all cats - from giving them space outside of play time, scooping & changing litter boxes, to ensuring they don't chew cables & knock over furniture.

“Tillana is amazing! She is extremely communicative, super friendly, and sent lots of photos of my Riley during his stay with her. It is obvious that Tillana has a wealth of knowledge of & love for dogs (and all animals I'm sure). I felt totally comfortable having Riley stay with her I can tell that Riley had a great time with her. She took him to the dog park too which I really appreciated! I plan on booking daycare & sleepovers with Tillana whenever I need a petsitter. 10/10 recommend :)”

“Allison has been absolutely amazing with our puppy, Lulu! She has great communication, is very flexible, and clearly truly cares about the dogs she watches. From the beginning, she took the time to ask detailed questions about Lulu’s routine so she could keep everything as consistent as possible while we were away. She sent pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious Lulu was happy and well cared for. What really appreciated was that even though Lulu is still in training, Allison continued the habits and routines we’ve been working on at home. There was no disruption when Lulu came back to us, no acting out or setbacks. We will absolutely be repeat clients and would recommend her without hesitation. If you want someone who will genuinely care for your pet like their own, Allison is your person!”

“Ava dogsat our dog Tequila and was absolutely wonderful! Tequila had a great time with Ava and her dog Ginger, and Ava kept us updated with photos throughout the day. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Our puppy had such a great time with Ying! She was super attentive to all our puppy’s needs and sent lots of pictures. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Her dog has also been a great playmate for our puppy, so they get lots of energy out too.”

About: I grew up in a home with multiple pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. My daughter has been asking for a dog, and while we’re not ready for our own just yet, we truly enjoy welcoming visiting pups into our home and treating them like family 🐕💛 I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have constant supervision and plenty of attention throughout the day. We enjoy daily walks 🐾, playtime 🎾, and lots of cuddles, while always respecting each dog’s unique personality and comfort level. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to follow your dog’s routine closely — whether that’s feeding schedules, special diets, walk preferences, or exercise needs. My goal is to make your dog feel happy and at home while you’re away.

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.

About: I'm an experienced dog owner with over 15 years of dog care experience. I have three dogs of my own and fostered 36 dogs throughout my childhood, giving me familiarity with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. While I've been away at college, I've really missed spending time with my dogs and would love the opportunity to walk and care for yours! I am very available this summer for either regularly scheduled or one-off visits. I will be in the area and able to take care of your pets until late September. I am very attentive to detail and will be sure to follow all instructions. I can be easily reached by phone and will stay in regular contact as needed. I have experience working with anxious dogs (both my own and others I've cared for), and I am comfortable walking dogs who may not be friendly to other dogs. I cannot watch dogs at my house, but I am comfortable stopping by your home for visits.

“Mike was perfect. I contacted him last-minute and we didn’t even get to do a meet and greet. He figured everything out with our house and our dog loved him right away. Mike communicated clearly and frequently and gave our dog the attention and activity he needed!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for several years through friends, family, and neighbors. I am comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, providing companionship, and following their regular feeding and care routines. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are safe and happy while they’re away, and I always treat every dog as if they were my own. I am dependable, responsible, and committed to providing attentive, loving care. As a college student home for summer with a flexible schedule, I have time throughout the week to provide attentive care for your pets. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I provide a calm, clean, and supervised environment. I take the time to build trust with each pet, pay close attention to their behavior, and make sure they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and care. I also provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I'm open to most types of pet sitting and have a hybrid work approach so more often than not am able to stay for the majority of the day with your furry child! I love walking in general, playing with dogs, cats, and appreciate that every pet has their own personality. Pet setting has always been a source of joy in my life and creating long standing relationships with families and their pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be treated with a wagging tail or a tail straight up depending on the pet :) and know that sending photos of their fur friend is bringing peace of mind to a family. I understand how much a pet means and am willing to go the extra mile to fit your families needs. I'm a graduate student getting a masters in clinical psychology in the evenings, which means I am available most days of the week and weekend during the day. I know I'm in good company here in saying that I treat my own cat like she's a part of my family. With any animal I'm taking care of I do my best to adhere to the schedule that the pet is used to in an effort to maintain a sense of normalcy when their family is away from them. I usually like to get to know what each pet likes and make sure we are trying to do some of their favorite activities to make their time positive. I make a concerted effort to keep the home neat and tidy each day so that the pet is also feeling clean and comfortable, but also so that the owners know that I respect not only their pet but their home. Depending on the preference of the owner I find it fun to send a small daily update which includes a photo and how the pet is doing overall.
About: As a fellow dog parent, I know just how important it is to find someone who'll love your pup like their own. I've learned so much from raising my sweet Cavapoo over the past 4 years - including navigating separation anxiety and training challenges with help from the awesome folks at Cali K9 and Zoom Room. All these experiences have made me a patient, understanding caregiver who knows every dog is uniquely special. Your furry friend will have a blast joining us for adventures in our local parks and trails, where we keep tails wagging with plenty of fun and positive reinforcement. I've had the joy of caring for many pups with different personalities, and I always make sure each one feels safe, happy, and right at home with us. Let's give your dog the loving attention they deserve! I'm thrilled to share what a typical day would look like for your pup! I've marked my calendar to show the days I'm home and fully available to focus on caring for your dog. Since I work from home on these days, I'm here to give your furry friend lots of attention and care. We follow a fun routine that includes at least three energetic walks daily, plus plenty of playtime with our collection of toys to keep everyone happy and engaged! I do pop out briefly for my gym sessions, but I'll always keep you in the loop about my schedule. Your dog will never feel lonely - they'll be right by my side throughout the day, getting all the love and attention they deserve! I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously

“Meg did such a great job taking walking our two dogs, one an eager puppy and our cranky older 6-year old. We appreciated Meg’s willingness to meet our pups prior to booking. She updated me with pictures during her visit and showed up within the desired time frame to walk our pups. We will definitely be using Meg in the future.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, birds and fish ever since I was a little kid!

“Deborah is amazing!! Snoopy was taken on a lot of walks. She was kind to him. She fell in love with him and it made the whole experience. It’s just absolutely amazing from the very beginning. I would highly recommend her. She is a very caring person and you can tell she loves animals.”

“Very attentive and thorough! Took my dog for long walks, made sure she was well-fed, and paid close attention when she was around another dog. Would highly recommend!”

“Manli provided a Warm & Loving Home for my girl China. She sent Tons of Pictures every day that all showed how Happy China was playing with Manli’ beautiful Family and the other Dogs! I would HIGHLY Recommend her to Anyone looking for a Happy Place where their Dog can Play!!! 😁”

“Our 1-year-old mini Aussie, Woby, had a wonderful time staying with Jifu while we were away for over a week. It was our first boarding experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better home for him. Jifu was incredibly attentive, providing us with constant updates with photos and videos. We were so relieved to see how happy, relaxed and healthy Woby was in their care. He loved running and playing tennis balls in the backyard, and chewing on toys indoors when it gets too hot outside. Jifu's super friendly dog, Joki, was also a great companion. We're so grateful for Jifu's reliability and kindness, and we'll definitely return for future boarding needs.”

“Kelly and Ben were great with Sadey for a long stay! I can tell she was well loved and taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely leave our pup with them again! Thank you!”
