About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.

About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while i’m home for the summer. I’m vegan, I live alone, and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule so I'm more than happy to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, daily walks, and make sure everything is taken care of. I'll always send plenty of photo updates too so you know they're doing great. I've taken care of dogs and cats for neighboring families and friends for many years, so I'm super comfortable handling pets with various different personalities and needs. I’m home for the summer and my schedule is incredibly open and flexible right now. Since I don't work a job, I have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to hang out with your pets, stick to their routines, and make sure they're taken care of as if they are my own. Safety is the main thing for me. I always double-check locks and gates, follow whatever feeding or walking instructions you leave, and keep a close eye on them. If we sound like the right fit for your pup, then please reach out! **For the Dog Walking service listed at $120/walk** — that's not for the standard 30-minute Rover walk, but rather up to 120 minutes/10 miles of hiking/trail running. I'd pick up and put your pup in the back of my SUV, drive to a preserve nearby (Foothill Park in Palo Alto, for example), and then drop your pup off. Given I'm semi-retired and work from home on a flexible schedule, pet care can always fit naturally into my whole day — not just the edges of it. Your dog won't be waiting for attention: mornings can start with a long walk/hike or run and midday means play and company rather than an empty house. On the weekends, after school, on holidays, and during summer break, my daughters will shower your pup with love and attention. Safety comes first. We live on a large lot in Los Altos with fully fenced front and back yards, so there's plenty of secure space to play and explore. We're minutes from the foothills, with easy access to great hiking trails, and I have the proper equipment to transport your pup safely. In our home, your dog is treated as part of the family: supervised play, a consistent routine for meals, walks, and rest, and someone home all day, so dogs are never alone. On outings, dogs stay leashed unless you've told me otherwise, and I match the pace and distance to your dog's fitness and the weather, while ensuring your dog is hydrated. I'm happy to follow your routine exactly — feeding, medications, sleeping arrangements, house rules, etc. You'll get regular photo and video updates, so you always know your pup is safe and happy.

About: I grew up with 2 newfoundlands back home (Chief and Stella🫶🏼), so love all dogs especially big ones. I have also been dog-sitting since I was 15! Currently enrolled as a grad student at Stanford. I am taking classes and living on campus but have a car to drive and am able to be flexible with my schedule. All of my roommates love dogs and my living room would be great for having pets play. There is a large green field outside of my apartment as well!

About: I have cared for dogs of all kinds and ages since I was a child. I've trained puppies, cared for elder dogs, and worked with service dogs as well. January, 2026: I am working part time & remote so my schedule for pet care is very flexible! I'm available for a single day or for longer-term arrangements. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places.
