About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, birds and fish ever since I was a little kid! I love animals and they have always enjoyed my company as well. :) I am currently in-between jobs, and I can be available at any time in Los Altos, CA starting end of April! About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.

About: I've loved animals my whole life and have cared for pets since 2016. I had my own bunny for five years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how much consistency matters in pet care. Over the years, I've helped roommates, friends, and family with their pets, including feeding, walks (rain included!), baths when needed, cleaning up accidents, playtime, and companionship. While I don't yet provide emergency or medical care beyond the basics, I'm very comfortable with daily routines and making pets feel safe and loved. About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places. Also, if I am house sitting some prefer to co-sleep and I am comfortable doing so. Every pet care experience is catered to your and your pets liking :)

About: Our family has had a black lab/boxer for over 8 years, and I grew up with dogs in the household. I am active and we love to take our pup on walks, to the park, and play around the family. Would love to extend my care to your dog, as a home away from home or puppy playdate treat. About: I grew up in a multiple pet family; taking care of the cats, ducks and family dog. Over the last couple decades I have rescued animals including my cat 20 years ago.
