About: I’m a lifelong cat lover who truly enjoys getting to know each cat’s unique personality. I first started caring for cats about 10 years ago when I helped my college roommate take care of her cat while we were living together. About seven years ago, I adopted my own cat, a Himalayan Siamese, and she has taught me so much about the different quirks, routines, and personalities that cats can have. Because of my experience with my own cat, I understand that every cat has their own comfort level when it comes to attention and interaction. Some cats love playtime and cuddles, while others prefer a calmer presence and their own space. I always let the cat guide the interaction and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m very attentive to routines and details, whether that means feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, or making sure your cat gets playtime and enrichment while you’re away. I also know how important it is for owners to feel at ease, so I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can see how your cat is doing. Your cat’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities, and I would treat them with the same care and respect I give my own.
“Sydney was very flexible and take great care of our golden retriever, Stella, while I was out of town for work. She communicated excellently and I would definitely recommend her!”

About: Dogs and cats have been a meaningful part of my life for the past 18 years, and caring for them has taught me how much love, patience, and trust goes into pet care. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who will truly pay attention and treat them with kindness. What sets me apart is that I’m very detail-oriented and empathetic. I notice small changes in behavior, energy, appetite, or mood, and I adjust based on what each pet needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and pets who need a calm, gentle approach. I can also help reinforce basic routines like feeding schedules, leash manners, and calm behavior. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Here’s a good way to phrase it: I’m currently between full-time roles, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care, and I can usually accommodate mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Because my schedule is open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stick closely to their routines, and be reliable for last-minute or recurring bookings. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. In my home or a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, medications, and any house rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I always pay attention to the pet’s behavior and comfort level. I keep the environment calm, clean, and low-stress, especially for senior dogs or pets who need extra patience. I’ll also provide updates so owners know their pet is safe, cared for, and happy.

About: I cared for my own dog for 8 years, which gave me a strong foundation in daily routines, exercise, feeding, and understanding a dog’s behavior and needs at different stages of life. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s individual personality—whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and reserved. I’m patient, calm, and detail-oriented, which helps pets feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very reliable and will follow your instructions closely, whether that includes specific feeding schedules, medications, or preferred walking routines. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I take the time to make sure each pet gets the attention, care, and affection they deserve while you’re away. My goal is always to make the experience as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet. I recently graduated from UC San Diego and am currently back home while searching for my first full-time role, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits, and I can easily accommodate different routines and timing needs. Whether your pet needs consistent daily care or more last-minute support, I’m happy to be flexible. About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.
“Artem is just fantastic! He is wonderful with my labradoodle, who is a 75lb 4 year old that acts like a puppy. He got to know her personality and sends me great videos and pictures of her walks.”

I make sure to make their time away from you as close to their daily routine as possible. I make sure to know their likes and dislike to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places. About: I've loved animals my whole life and have cared for pets since 2016. I had my own bunny for five years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how much consistency matters in pet care. Over the years, I've helped roommates, friends, and family with their pets, including feeding, walks (rain included!), baths when needed, cleaning up accidents, playtime, and companionship. While I don't yet provide emergency or medical care beyond the basics, I'm very comfortable with daily routines and making pets feel safe and loved. What sets me apart is that I'm very good at following instructions. I know every pet parent has specific preferences, and I respect that fully. During the first visit, I may ask clarifying questions to make sure I'm doing everything exactly how you like it. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease. I'm available weekdays during standard working hours and would love to spend that time giving your pup or kitty attention, movement, and care. I'm currently available on weekdays during standard 9-5 hours, which makes me a great fit for midday walks, drop-in visits, and weekday care. I'm not available on weekends at this time. Since I'm focusing on weekday bookings, I'm able to give your pet my full attention during visits rather than rushing between commitments. Your pet's comfort and your home's safety are very important to me. I carefully follow all instructions, double-check doors and leashes, and make sure your pet is secure before and after walks. I maintain a calm presence and respect both your home and your pet's boundaries. I clean up after pets, keep litter areas and feeding spaces tidy, and leave your home as I found it. I loved caring for all animals and to me they're God's gifts to all of us:-) I'm currently retired so I do have flexibility in taking the time caring for your animals:-)They will be loved and nurtured as if they were my own, safety and love are my top priorities when it comes to carrying for your animals:-) It's very important that you hire someone that will care for the animal as their own and I do:-) okay safety and love are top priority for me. I know how to give animals medicine oral or injectable or just love and play with them.:-)
“Andrea has been great walking Rico, my 14 year old pug. Rico is now a special needs dog due to his advanced age. I gave Andrea a pretty long list describing how to handle Rico and she covered it all. I definitely trust Andrea with Rico and will set up regular walks with her on an ongoing basis.”

“What a great stay for Stitch. They are so conscientious and kind. He came home calm and happy. Great updates with details on walks, photos, potty. Will definitely have Stitch stay again.”

“Meerim was an incredible dog sitter. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay, and communicated how things were going so I didn't worry at all. So grateful that we found her! Will 100% book again xx”

“Joy was both skillful and easygoing when we left our dog Lila with her and her family. I got photos of Lila snuggling on the sofa, and Joy had a great outdoor space for her dogs and mine to play.”

“Jesse and Kimmy were so wonderful with you 3 year old Labradoodle. Peet felt right at home and really settled in nicely. We received many updates and pics throughout the way. Will be rebooking again soon!! Thank you for loving our sweet pup while we were away!”

“Kathryn and Denis are top notch dog people. They and their family provided a cozy and welcoming home for our high energy pup. Our dog does not always settle in quickly but did so quickly with this beautiful family. She, the dog, even appeared to mind her manners. Thank you K & D.”

“Wow! We felt so secure having Daniel dog-sit for us. He sent us regular updates with photos and took her on really nice long walks. Would definitely recommend. We will definitely be seeking his services again in the future.”

“Manli took care of my dog for a week. She updated me with photos and videos daily. He was happy and well taken care of. She was also very flexible and responded quickly to my messages. I will definitely book her again.”

“Jifu did an amazing job taking care of my puppy! He was attentive and caring, and his dog Joki was very friendly, making the experience even better. I loved receiving videos and pictures throughout the day, which gave me peace of mind. I definitely recommend him!”

“Sarah took to Jennifer immediately. Jennifer would send daily updates for Sarah with photos and it is a great comfort to see Sarah all settled in. Jennifer has taken such good care of Sarah that I am confident that I will book her for dog sitting service again. Thank you, Jennifer!”

“I highly recommend Ying for anyone seeking a reliable and attentive pet sitter. She was incredibly thorough, followed every detailed instruction perfectly, and kept me at ease with regular photos and videos. One of my dogs bonded with her immediately, which is the ultimate endorsement. I couldn't have asked for a more professional or caring experience!”

“Audrina and Donny were amazing! They provided regular updates, were very responsive and too great care of my dog. They were able to keep my very active dog really engaged with regular walks, potty breaks, playing fetch and training him (last two were them going above and beyond). They were very knowledgeable about pet care and had asked me to fill out a questionnaire about my dog and his activities before the stay so that they can keep it as a reference during his stay. Audrina also has a very helpful drop off checklist covering all the stuff my dog would need for his stay. Would be looking for Audrina’s help for a future stay as well!”

“Kasey and her family were fantastic with and for Lexi (my dog). Lexi was well cared for and had a wonderful time with Kasey’s family and her dog, Iyla. If and when I need care for Lexi, I will reach out to Kasey, she was the best.”

“Margaret is probably the best dog sitter we’ve ever worked with. Let me give some context: our utterly cute dog was adopted in 2020 (pandemic dog) with already deep fear and trauma. We think something happened when she was a puppy that caused deep fear such as abuse or some sort of trauma. Basically, she was afraid of everything and utterly shy. We worked with multiple trainers for almost two years and finally got her to a good place. We learned with time and patience she gets comfortable with strangers and once you’re in her pack. You are there for life. She loves playing with dogs but dog parks would get complicated because other dogs sometimes would teach bad habits or become aggressive (trainers also mentioned things can escalate and certain owners have no control). We also learned she is scared of certain breeds and afraid of cats. But she has an incredible memory and is the smartest dog we’ve ever had. However, most people dog kennels, individuals have zero experience and patience. Given her memory, there are certain vets or dog daycares she will cry and try running away from if we are walking by. The true test of dog unhappiness. Fast forward to 2023, we’ve built trust and loyalty with our baby but the problem is she is still afraid of strangers and the unknown. She is al highly protective of her territory and will start barking (think a stranger walking up to me or a stranger entering our home). We’ve learned methods to make her feel safe and comfortable and ways strangers should approach. Basically it’s hard to find a dog sitter for her than the average dog. Most places are money machines and do not give her the time making her regress. Margaret is beyond words incredible. She knows how to work with all types of dogs including very shy dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges. She has ample experience and genuine care for animals. Also our dog is highly fearful of the breeds: huskies and German shepherds. Margaret has both and was able to get our dog comfortable going out on runs and walks with them. When we came to pick her up she was sad to go and saying bye to both Margaret, her partner John (another amazing human) and all their dogs. She loved all of them from Luma the chihuahua mix that made ours more social to the Willis and Jackson that made her confident to even Jackson who made her feel safe and like a queen. They even were flirting hahaha Never have we left our dog and received so many pictures and saw her so happy. She did not even want to leave when we picked her up and learned new commands in just one week like paw. Our dog even cried while we drove away and loved her new pack. Margaret said she fit right in. If Margaret and John open a doggie daycare, our pup would be there every day because we have never seen her so social and happy while remaining in a safe and controlled space. She was loved, fed like crazy (the way to her heart) but did not gain weight because of all the exercise, games and activities provided by this wonderful couple. Margaret is also an incredible trainer and has so much patience and love. I felt so easy on our holidays with my baby there, did not even think twice. We are beyond proud and since that week with Margaret she is a different dog. Sweeter, calmer and just more confident and trusting. Please open a daycare that this area so desperately needs. One thing- I recognize the price is expensive this was our biggest challenge but they are truly worth it!!”

“Michael is very professional, knows what he does, and Muffin liked him from the first moment they've met. I was receiving regular updates throughout Muffin's stay and was given a comprehensive summary of Muffin's behavior and health at the check-out. Can only recommend.”

“Kelly took great care of Lucky. He seemed very happy after his time with her and even as we were getting back in the car he went to the end of his leash to get one more look before she left. Highly recommend Kelly!”

“Someday i hope to be boarded with her. Everyday I was treated to pictures of our dog having a great time!!!! It looked like summer camp for canines.”

“My dog had a great time with James and seemed to not want to leave. James is super friendly and his dog Captain is the perfect dog ambassador. He made sure my dog felt comfortable during his stay.”
