“My dog Re’lar had a blast staying with Michael (as evidenced by the many photos and videos I recieved). Michael was communicative which helped put me at ease since this was the first time my pup stayed with him. Would be happy to have Re’lar stay with him again next time we are in need.”

“Svetlana was great! Our dog was loved and cared for, and I would not hesitate to leave her again in such good hands. I appreciated the daily updates and pictures of walks, play, and lounging at home. Svetlana was super responsive to all of my questions and was such a nice person to interact with. The overall experience was fantastic.”

“Jennifer took wonderful care of Skeeter and also sent me photos and video of his time with her. Skeeter took to Jennifer right away and I was delighted to see a pic of him cozying up to her on the couch (Just like he does with me when we're watching TV at home.) Also, I know Skeeter loves Jennifer because when he gets to her place he runs right in! Thank you, Jennifer!”

“Meerim was incredibly kind and responsive with our aging dog, Rupert. He is older and losing his eye sight and she was very understanding and caring with him. We would definitely trust Rupert with her again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Kenny! He was incredibly caring with Coco and made sure he stayed active with plenty of walks. It was such a relief knowing Coco was in such good hands. Great overall, I highly recommend him!”

“Three weeks after we got our puppy, we had to go on a week long trip and finding Mora could not have been short of a miracle. Our 4 months puppy loved spending time with her and knowing that he was in such a capable hand help us to also enjoy our time away! Mora was such a wonderful and loving caregiver and also spent some time to teach him new skills. I could not be happier with her and would recommend her to all of our friends, no need to say that she would always be our first choice! Thank you Mora”

“Jessica is the best! She watched our dog Roo and instantly became her best friend - she made her chicken, put on a cute sweater for our dog, and kept us up to date on all the fun times. Our trip ran a little long and she was super understanding and kept her for nearly 4 hours longer. We are so happy we found her and will definitely be booking again!”

“Yunxi is great and took great care of my dog. Her house is in a very safe neighborhood with a park to walk my dog everyday. She ensured she took my dog out multiple times a day for walking and potty, and made sure he was well fed!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for two years, it’s been a fun experience. I get to meet new pets and make them feel like home. I’m currently working from home, that gives me enough time for your pups and cats. I’m available for morning walks on weekdays 9am I live in a area where pups like to run, my home is a safe place as well where they are taken care of as if they are mine
“Tracy’s updates and communication were very good and much appreciated throughout our dog’s two-week stay with her while we were traveling internationally. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with her again!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own. I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :) My large backyard is fenced. My husband Dave and I often are asked by friends to help train their dogs because we love to help and are good at it! :)
“Wow! We felt so secure having Daniel dog-sit for us. He sent us regular updates with photos and took her on really nice long walks. Would definitely recommend. We will definitely be seeking his services again in the future.”

“What a great stay for Stitch. They are so conscientious and kind. He came home calm and happy. Great updates with details on walks, photos, potty. Will definitely have Stitch stay again.”

“Jesse and Kimmy were so great with our dog, Henry! Some quick points we really appreciated: -Had us fill out an in-depth questionnaire about feeding/exercise/health/behavior -Sent plenty of videos/photos/updates, incredibly communicative -Only takes in a few other clients simultaneously -A meet and greet with their own dog -Fenced front and back yard -Someone is always home -We got to take home a cute polaroid of our pup at the end :) We highly recommend to have your pups stay with Jesse and Kimmy!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets and other animals since I was a child. I was brought up loving animals and everyone in the family has pets. I brought home my first dog from my aunt’s house when I was 9, and he became my best friend and lived to 12 years old. I’m a proud auntie to my sister’s Shiba Inu and have helped raise her since she was a puppy. I hope to meet your best friend soon. I’m home all days of the week so your pet will never be without care and attention except when I step out for a brief errand. I live in a spacious apartment in a safe neighborhood with walkable streets. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved with plenty of cuddles, playtime, and walks throughout the day.
“Iryna was fabulous with our adult cockapoo. Extremely responsive and a great caretaker. Our doggy was super happy and comfortable with Iryna and her family who live next to a great dog park. Will definitely rebook if our schedules align.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Los Altos Hills
Mel and his family took excellent care of our pup. From daily walks and lots of time playing outside to introducing him to other kids, it was clear he was getting plenty of attention and socialization. Mel was also incredibly communicative, sending prompt updates along with great pictures and videos throughout the stay. It made us feel completely at ease knowing our pup was in such good hands. We’d absolutely recommend Mel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Kelly was amazing! She was incredibly friendly and took the time to meet with us since it was our first time using Rover. She was very responsive, communicated clearly, and made the entire process easy and reassuring. We felt completely comfortable leaving our Golden Retriever in her care. We highly recommend Kelly and will definitely use her again in the future!

My baby girl had a great time at Anam’s place. My baby girl is turning 12 this year and is a cancer survivor. She can not climb stairs and needs medical attention. Anam did a great job making sure she is taken great care of. Anam’s dog is such a sweetheart and they got along really really well.

Ahmyah took care of my 8- year Golden Retriever (Basin) while I was attending meetings at Stanford for a few days. Its clear she really loves dogs. She sent me cute videos of Basin on campus having a great time! I would love for Basin to stay with Ahmyah again when we are back at Stanford.

Svetlana was a great caretaker for ZuZu. They have a nice grass yard that’s enclosed. She walks ZuZu regularly and played with her. Her daily updates are personal and detailed. I always look forward to read her updates. She is obvious experienced at taking care of dogs and she has a warm heart. I will not hesitate to send zuzu back next time around. She is simply great!

Cynthia was fantastic! She took such great care of my dogs and kept me updated throughout their stay with photos, which I really appreciated. My flight ended up being delayed, and I was running late, but she was incredibly accommodating and understanding, which made a stressful situation much easier. It was clear she showed my pets a lot of love and attention while they were with her. I’d absolutely trust her again and will definitely be booking with her for my future dog care needs.

I highly recommend Daniela as a dog sitter. She watched my dog, Poppy, it was the first time I left my puppy and I was very nervous. We had a great a experience! It was so clear from the start that she truly loves animals; she didn't just stick to a schedule but really took the time to get to know Poppy’s personality and quirks. I felt so much better being away because Daniela kept me updated with constant messages and the cutest photos of Poppy playing and happy. Daniela was professional, reliable, and incredibly kind. When I finally picked Poppy up, she was happy and well-cared for, which is the best peace of mind a pet owner can have. I’d trust Daniela with Poppy again in a heartbeat!
