Animals are my whole life ❤️
I’ve been dog/cat sitting and dog walking consistently for over 8 years now. Ive have been volunteering with an animal rescue for going on 8-9 years now. I am very comfortable giving medication, insulin shots, etc. Ive worked with dogs as small as newborns and as large as 240 lbs and I am comfortable with all breeds of dog. I’ve had animals my entire life and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I currently work at a pet food store, and I have the ability to take my personal dogs and dogs I’m sitting to work with me everyday. We have a large office space with lots of comfy lounging spots of all sizes. We almost have someone (whether myself or dog and cat savvy coworker) in there at any given time so they still receive almost constant supervision. When I’m not working I am a more active person and love hiking and love to go on walks and go to the park, of course any dog in my care at that time would have the opportunity to join me. In the past with seniors or dogs too young for walks I’ve used strollers, backpacks and wagons so that they never miss out on the fun. Your pets’ safety and happiness are paramount. My goal is to create a fun, loving, stress free environment for everyone. If there is anything specific that would help to make that possible please tell me!

Emma is great! She has watched Kovu several times now. Emma sends updates and photos so you know your pup is in good hands. Her dog is very friendly and Kovu enjoys staying there. Emma also doesn’t watch multiple dogs at once so your dog doesn’t feel overwhelmed. I love that she has a yard too that they can play in. Emma is flexible and reliable!
Emma was really responsive and flexible with the booking. My dog came home happy, healthy and bathed! She is normally very shy but also came home somewhat more friendly with other dogs. Emma's genuine love of dogs really comes through and gave me a lot of peace of mind my baby was being treated well.
My pup is always so excited to see Emma and recently, she was so fortunate to be able to join Emma's pack for a few days. Not only was she happy and cared for, but as an added bonus, she came home more secure around larger dogs and also cats. You can't go wrong with choosing Emma.
Emma is very kind and super knowledgeable about animals. My pup remembered her from our meet and greet and immediately pulled toward Emma. She had a great time in her home and with her other pets. Emma also took her on walks and introduced her to her workplace so we could have an idea if she would be okay visiting during the day on future stays, which was super thoughtful. Very impressed. Highly recommend.
Emma was very accommodating to our timing and took care of our baby really well.
Emma is one of the most committed pet parents I have ever known, she treats all fur babies as her own and always does her best to make sure that the animals in her care are happy and healthy. She is one of the very few people that is able to care for my rescue pup, who has difficulty trusting just anyone. She has experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, temperaments, medical needs, etc.

Schedule
I work from home, so have a lot of free time to take the best care possible of your baby/babies while you’re away. When I’m not working we’re typically doing something outside like going for a walk, the park, or hiking or lounging on the patio furniture with the older pups. We never forget to get extra snuggles in throughout the day though! I’m very mental enrichment focused so we do a lot of puzzle feeding and enrichment games with food and toys.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in front and back yard so a very safe set up. I have 2 dogs and two cats to keep your fur babies company if I happen to be away for short periods. I can also crate them (if I leave the house) if you’re more comfortable with that or keep them confined in my bedroom for their safety should you prefer.

A typical day
I love going on fun adventures with your dogs (and cats too). Whether that be for a hike or on a trip to our local park! I love taking walks around the neighborhood and going to the baylands just down the street. I’m am a huge advocate for mental and physical enrichment so I always have lick mats and enrichment feeding toys in the ready!
