“Rachel has walked my dog Sunny several times now and it’s been great! She is very reliable, quick to respond, and has been able to handle Sunny no problem! She was also super nice and had great attention to detail during our meet & greet. I would definite recommend her.”

“Anna did an amazing job walking our dog, Maxey! She was very attentive and caring during their hour-long walk, she also engaged his mind with training and praise/treats, making it a fun and beneficial experience for him. We could tell she genuinely loves working with dogs, and her approach was both patient and effective. Maxey came back happy and well-exercised, and we appreciate the extra effort she put into his walk. We highly recommend Anna and will definitely be booking her again!”

“Andriana was an amazing walker for our dog Memo! She was very communicative and gave us frequent updates, which made us feel extra comfortable with him in her care. Would recommend her to care anyone’s pets!”

About: I have grown up around animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets. I grew up with a bullmastiff, currently care for two cats, and recently adopted a hamster, so taking care of animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience with house sitting, Rover pet care, and volunteering at the Humane Society, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and creating a calm and loving environment for animals. What sets me apart is how genuinely much I care about every animal I look after. I understand how important it is for owners to trust the person caring for their pets, so I always prioritize communication, reliability, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient with shy or anxious animals, attentive to routines and instructions, and always make sure pets receive plenty of affection, attention, and care. I am also comfortable with large dog breeds, experienced with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and basic pet care needs, and I always provide photo and message updates so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and already care for my own pets every day. I am currently home from college for the summer and, while I am looking for a summer job, my schedule is fairly open and flexible right now. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding schedules, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I am also very organized and reliable, so I am able to adapt easily to different schedules and pet care needs. 🐾 Growing up with a Bullmastiff, I’ve learned firsthand how to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and care. Whether it's a gentle giant or a more energetic pup, I’m skilled at managing pets of every personality! Now, as a proud cat owner, I understand the unique needs of both feline and canine friends. Alongside my own pets, I regularly pet sit in my neighborhood, giving me a wealth of experience with a variety of animals and the trust of my local community. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands with someone who treats every animal like family.
“Allyn Rose was an excellent dog walker. She was communicative, responsive, and great with my two pups. It is clear that she loves dogs and what she does. She comes highly recommended!”

About: I've taken care of many different breeds, sizes & ages over the years & I pride myself in being a dog person. They love me & I love them! I adapt to their training style while being sure to successfully maintain control. If they aren't excited to see me upon arrival, I'm doing something wrong! I have some free time that I'm looking to fill with something that brings me joy & some extra cash. I am a coach at Orangetheory. Other than that, my week is very as flexible I usually schedule out one (maybe 2) week(s) at a time. We have a big yard (front and back), and live in a nice neighborhood in Sunnyvale. I live a very active lifestyle, so walks are no problem at all! My housemates are extremely loving and caring (as parents of 8!), and their family dogs have since passed. We could use a furry friend now and again. :)
About: Hi! I'm Kate, a marine conservationist who loves to pet sit! I work remotely and have 20+ years of experience caring for animals in vet. hospitals, animal rescues, grooming salons, and also in their own homes. Rest assured that your animals will be loved and properly looked after while under my care. My schedule is very flexible because I work remotely and choose my own hours in a part-time capacity. This allows me to spend ample quality time with whatever pets I’m currently caring for! :) I worked for 3 years as a Kennel Assistant at Radnor Veterinary Hospital while in high school and used to treat sick animals that were boarding in the hospital over the weekends. I was responsible for giving all medical treatments while the veterinarians were away on weekends: injecting insulin, managing IV's, treating open wounds, managing medications, etc. for the sick animals boarding at the hospital. After that, at Main Line Animal Rescue I specialized in socializing abused animals (dogs & cats mostly). I have many years of experience caring for for dogs, fish, cats, birds, lizards, and exotic animals / wildlife. Whether you need someone to take your pup on a walk during the day or need a pet sitter to stay at your place with your babies overnight while you are on vacation, I'm your go-to pet sitter! I've been dog sitting for 20 years now. I also worked at PetSmart for a summer as a dog washer and nail clipper. I'd love to meet your pets and you! My services include overnight care, daytime pet sitting, and dog walking. If you're interested in my services, please message me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for considering me as your pet sitter! Hope to hear from you :)

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and currently have three of my own. I’m comfortable with small to medium dogs and have experience with feeding schedules, walks, and being genuinely attentive to what each dog needs. I’m available most days this summer and have a pretty flexible schedule. I can work around whatever routine your dog is used to and make sure they’re not just looked after but actually having a good time. I take pet safety seriously – I always keep dogs leashed on walks, pay attention to their body language, and communicate with owners throughout. I work best with friendly, easygoing dogs and give them the same care I give my own.

Sunnyvale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Caroline is an outstanding dog walker! She instantly built rapport with our dog Goldie and listened to my instructions (to not have her walk too close to other dogs).I felt Goldie was well taken care of during her walks. She also took and sent several photos. A+

Tianyu was great at taking care of our high energy lab. She provided lots of pictures and videos and communicated well ensuring we don’t worry about our dog on our trip. All of Simba’s items were also very neatly kept on the counter when we got back. Overall great experience and we highly recommend!

Ning and Ting are fantastic! They provide excellent updates on how Ollie was doing on the walks and have even helped teach him better leash manners & behaviors. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in such caring, capable hands. They clearly have a passion for dogs, and Ollie loved his time with them and Olive!

Anna was amazing with Simba! She constantly sent updates, videos and pictures of the walks. She is very responsive and was always making sure Simba’s mind is engaged through some activity. During Simba's walks she was training him not to lunge at people and ignore dogs. To top it all off she left us a sweet note as to how she enjoyed her time with him! Highly recommend her if you have energetic dogs!
