About: Hi! I’m Larissa, a Veterinary Student who genuinely loves animals. Caring for pets isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I truly enjoy. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a long walk, cuddle time on the couch, playtime, or an overnight stay, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you’ll always know your best friend is doing great. I look forward to meeting you and giving your pet the love and attention they deserve! 🐾💕 I currently work from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, so I will always be available to take care of your puppy before and/or after my work during the week and also throughout the weekend. Currently I offer the walking service with the dogs but, in any case, I believe that safety and trust should be part of all processes. During my time working in the daycare for animals last year, I gained experience with basic training where, I can more easily deal with the insecurities and fears of dogs, making the unwanted in confidence and greater security for him.

About: New to Rover but not to loving pets! I bring endless patience, genuine affection, and a commitment to making every animal feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My flexible schedule means I'm home more often than not, so pets in my care are never left alone for long. I tailor each day to what the animal needs most — no rigid routines, just attentive, responsive care. My apartment is a peaceful, pet-free space — clean, calm, and perfectly set up for your furry guest. The on-site pet park is a bonus your pup will absolutely love, offering a safe outdoor space to run, sniff, and play without ever having to go far. When visiting your home, I bring that same level of attentive, respectful care
“Anna just finished a 5 day walking stretch for Sunny. She was punctual and extremely caring. By the end of the fifth day, Sunny’s tail would wag when she knocked on the door. I will be using Anna for future requests:)”

“Ho So did a fantastic job looking after our dog Ddoddo for a week. We are particularly appreciative of his flexibility, working around our unpredictable work schedules. He was always very communicative and consistently posted updates and pictures of his time with Ddoddo. We highly recommend Ho So to anybody and would definitely ask him for help again in the future.”

“Travis has started walking our 2.5 year old husky mix Apollo twice a week and we will be using Travis for future care as well when we are out of town. Apollo loves him and we get pictures of their walks. Travis is always respectful of my home and really prioritizes my fur baby. He is always on time if not early and excellent at communicating if he has questions or needs anything. I fully trust him with our baby and am so thankful he is here to help us out!”

About: With 5 years of pet care experience, I specialize in puppy care, house-training, and positive reinforcement. As a proud parent of two young pups—including an energetic Australian Shepherd—I deeply understand puppy behaviors, teething, crate training, and social boundaries. My background working in early childhood education has also equipped me with extreme patience, high alertness for safety, and a natural ability to structure a fun yet secure routine for pets. Whether your dog needs gentle guidance, playful enrichment, or senior comfort, they will receive undivided attention and love. As a graduate student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for multi-day boarding, daycare, and overnight stays. Because I study primarily from home, your pet will rarely be left alone and will enjoy constant companionship, timely potty breaks, and plenty of structured mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. Safety is my absolute highest priority. I maintain a secure, dog-friendly environment fully adapted for active puppies. When welcoming guest pets, I ensure slow, supervised introductions and keep a watchful eye on play dynamics. I strictly follow your specific feeding, medication, and training instructions. Daily photo and video updates are guaranteed so you can have complete peace of mind while away.
About: Fun story about my experience: I have always loved animals and grew a passion for dogs in particular. I have about 2 years of experience with dog walking and more experience with animal care. I owned many cats in the past and when I was not able to adopt a dog I trained my cats instead. I taught them basic commands such as sit, down, paw, leave it, and more. Dedicated to providing quality care and exercise for your furry friends. Stay updated on the daily adventures and activities. It will be a joy to meet your pet! My schedule is often quite flexible. I can walk most times except the intervals between 6 PM and 8. I can take another walk after 8 and until 9. I will make sure to always keep your dog leashed when on walks. I will also try to avoid busy and big streets to make sure your pet is comfortable. I will also bring water on hot days to make sure your dog is properly hydrated. Let me know if you have any concerns or special requests.

About: I’ve always been an admirer of animals and the value they bring to life. Most of my life I have been a dog owner. I have experience with walking and boarding dogs with some light training. They truly are man’s best friend. I’m working part time currently and available to care for your pet and open for boarding most days. I am a friend of the animal kingdom. I have a fenced in outdoor area with a park close by for walks and socializing. I will do my best to care for your pet while you are away.
About: I have always had a dog in my life. Giant breeds mostly, but all kinds tug at my heart. I wasn’t blessed with children so I pour out all that maternal love on my animals. I cook a lot for our Cane Corso-veggies, ground turkey, even scrambled eggs, and he loves it. I have been called a “dog whisperer” by some who witness my interactions with furry friends. I retired early so I have been home with our Cane Corso since he was 9 mos old. I believe the attention and love we have showered on our pup has allowed him to be both loving and obedient. He has never shown aggression to other dogs and he is liked by many other pet owners we have met over the last 5 years. I am physically fit and able to care for any size dog, and feel confident in caring for our vulnerable family members. Since I am home, I would be able to visit your pup or walk him/her while you’re at work. Dogs definitely get lonely so having company can be a game-changer in their behavior and life span. I am used to talking to pets, as I believe our tone of voice gives them security and builds trust. I would not only talk to your pet(s) in a loving way, but also pet them and play with them, as well as walk them. For our dog, I am adamant about fresh water in his bowl several times a day, and gets fed at regular times (he gets 4 small meals/day!) He has been in our front yard since he was 4 mos old so he gets to lounge on the grass without disturbing the neighbors. It has been a great way to acclimate him to people, big and small. If that is something you would like to try (with supervision) I am all for it.
About: I have had pets my entire life from birds and reptiles to small rodents and, of course, dogs and cats! I’ve worked in veterinary care for over 5 years and look forward to being your pet’s best friend. I am new to the area and currently job searching so my schedule is quite flexible! I am happy to do morning, afternoon, and evening drop ins and walks. I approach each pet with patience and take care to make sure the animal feels safe and loved. I am trained in fear-free practices and make sure to use them in all pet-related situations.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sunnyvale
So appreciate having Stacey nearby to walk our dog—she’s friendly and nice to work with, reliable, and a great communicator. She confirmed arrival time each day as requested, and even adjusting walk times due to a heat wave (which we were grateful for). Lucy looked forward to her outings, and we felt comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Thank you again Stacey!

I cannot recommend Susan highly enough! I needed a last-minute dog walker on the exact same day due to an unexpected injury, and she stepped up without hesitation. My dog is incredibly anxious, especially around other dogs so I am always nervous leaving him with someone new. She meticulously followed every single instruction I left and gave him the exact specialized care and patience he needed. She even spent extra time on their walks just to snuggle and comfort him. The updates she sent were phenomenal. She went completely above and beyond by sending photos, videos, and even detailed tracking (including potty updates!), which gave me total peace of mind while I was laid up. After every walk, my dog came back perfectly tired out and would nap peacefully for hours. Now that I’ve recovered and am back to walking him myself, my pooch clearly misses her! If you are looking for a walker who is reliable, incredibly attentive, and genuinely loves animals, look no further. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Ho So did a fantastic job looking after our dog Ddoddo for a week. We are particularly appreciative of his flexibility, working around our unpredictable work schedules. He was always very communicative and consistently posted updates and pictures of his time with Ddoddo. We highly recommend Ho So to anybody and would definitely ask him for help again in the future.

Thu was fantastic with my dog. She was prompt, reliable, friendly and enthusiastic. She even took my dog on extra walks in order to provide him with play dates with other, safe and friendly, dogs. When I returned from my vacation, my dog looked happier and healthier than when I left. Can't say anything better than that. I highly recommend Thu

Caroline is an outstanding dog walker! She instantly built rapport with our dog Goldie and listened to my instructions (to not have her walk too close to other dogs).I felt Goldie was well taken care of during her walks. She also took and sent several photos. A+

Tianyu was great at taking care of our high energy lab. She provided lots of pictures and videos and communicated well ensuring we don’t worry about our dog on our trip. All of Simba’s items were also very neatly kept on the counter when we got back. Overall great experience and we highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
