My experience includes daily walks, feeding, administering medication, basic training, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. I live in a single family house (no stairs) with my two kids, 8 year old pup and husband. We have an enclosed backyard and live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. I love taking my dog on walks through Vasona Park along the LG creek trail, or on special outings to John McLaren and Fort Funston (because she loves a great off leash adventure). My dog snuggles with us in bed at night or at the foot of the bed in her cozy setup. About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, growing up with one in my hometown. My experience expanded significantly during my time as an au pair in Germany, where I cared for Hannah, a beautiful Golden Retriever. Hannah was incredibly loving with her family but reactive around other dogs, she would bark and lunge toward them. Through that experience, I learned to read her body language, redirect her attention with treats and commands, and keep her calm during walks using positive reinforcement and quieter routes. I recently graduated from University of California - Irvine and since moved to NorCal for work and to hopefully pursue veterinary school. I'm also a proud cat-mom to the sweetest kitty in the world. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I couldn't imagine a life without them — that's why I went from pre-med to pre-vet after all! I'm incredibly passionate about dog training and helping them live their best lives. I had a labrador retriever, aka my heart-dog, Gazebo, that I trained for over a year and half in the hopes he'd be able to assist me as a multi-purpose service dog. Unfortunately, he was retired early but I learned so much from working with him. I trained him under the tutelage of several professional trainers, though I won't go so far as to claim I'm a professional myself in any way. Reactivity training is also something I'm passionate about. Whether it be fear based, excitement based, or something else altogether, I want to be able to help dogs live their best lives. If you have a training program that you'd like for me to follow during a walk or visit, please let me know! I'll always do my best to accommodate and work with you. Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always come first though, and should I feel I'm unable to follow through, I will always let you know. I currently work part-time but can easily fit in walks and drop-ins around my shifts! I travel via electric scooter so getting to your home won't be an issue for me. As I owner trained my service dog, I'm familiar with different training methods, such as LIMA and training tools. I have experience with e-collars, martingales, and prong collars, though I prefer to be R+ as much as possible. Aka, treats, praise, and so much love. I'd be more than happy to keep up any training while walking your dog, such as redirecting reactivity or carrying treats for walks! I have a kitty who screams for food twice a day, so I'm well used to the (insistent!) routine cats follow. I'm also used to pets needing space and not having attention 24/7, as well as having experience with crate training. I believe it's important for all pets to be able to settle at home without needing constant stimulation.

About: My family has been petsitting family and friend's dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I also grew up with a family dog and several cats, being the one who mostly trained the dog in performative tricks. This exposure lead me to have a great interest in learning dog and cat breeds, hereditary diseases, and behavior/body language. I have 5+ years in the animal industry from pet supply to medical care. I have experience in administering medications and subcutaneous fluids, simple grooming(nail trims and brushing), and some basic puppy training. I am available from 9am-12pm and 4pm-7pm everyday for dog walking. I'm available all day, Tues-Thurs, Sat-Sun for drop ins and other services that I offer! Sadly, I do have the space to house your pet at my place, but I will be able to complete any provided services at your own!
