About: Growing up, I've always had an affinity for animals. I've spent much of my life caring for my family's dog, and spending time caring for my neighbors' and friends' pets when they were away. I’ve got a senior cat of my own, and have also have spent time throughout the past several years caring for my friend's cat when she would travel frequently for work. I have experience administering medicine to cats, and am comfortable doing so for dogs as well. I am excited to be a part of Rover to spend time with more four-legged friends! I’m new to San Jose, and am especially excited to explore and be active outside with your furry family member. I also am available to provide drop-in visits for both cats and dogs. We work opposite schedules, so if you choose to board with us, your pet will never be left alone for more than 5 hours at a time. We have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and we'll treat your dog like one of my own. Can't wait to meet your furry best friend! Sasha works from 1 pm to 9 pm as an after-school voice teacher. Clara works from 9 am to 5 pm at an environmental non-profit, and often works from home in the afternoons. Together, we can provide nearly around-the-clock care for your pet. We will ensure that we bond with your pet and provide whatever they may need, whether that is play, a walk, food, or downtime. We will try to keep to their normal routine and allow them to get to know us at their own pace. We typically limit boarding to 10 days, but are open to longer stays!

About: Throughout my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs in particular. My family has always had at least one dog in our household and I’ve spent a combined three years volunteering, shadowing, and working at animal hospitals / clinics - learning how to meet the needs of every dog or cat I encounter. The passion I had as a child led me to pursue zoology. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and while there I worked at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center.
