I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, poultry, goats, rabbits, pigs, and even reptiles. Whether it's a gentle morning feeding, a peaceful walk, or some down-to-earth cuddle time, I make sure your animals feel safe, understood, and right at home. I pride myself on being patient, calm, and observant, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.

In clients' homes, I maintain your pet's routine with consistency and care. I provide scheduled feedings, exercise, enrichment, medication if needed, and a clean environment. I respect your space, follow all instructions, and communicate throughout visits with photos and updates.

Due to a sudden change in plans, our previous sitter had to cancel just two weeks prior to our 17-day trip out of the country. We contacted Rover and found Meara. And despite her incredibly busy schedule and personal life, Meara cheerfully agreed to stay in our home with our deaf senior cat. She went above and beyond to make sure our trip was worry free and stayed in contact with us nearly every day. Everything was just perfect upon our return. The house was immaculate and Lily perfectly happy. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thank you, Meara! You rock!

Meara was excellent with my two dogs, Daisy and Leo. She has experience working with fearful dogs in animal shelters, so I felt especially confident leaving my very shy dog—who came from an animal hoarding situation—in her care. Right before I left for my trip, Daisy developed an upset stomach. Meara handled it wonderfully, giving her medications and special food while I was away and keeping me updated after every walk about Daisy’s #2 quality, which really helped ease my mind. It’s always hard to leave your “children” when you travel, but I truly felt that Meara took great care of them while I was gone. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm, as my family has daily ranch duties. Mornings start with feedings and check-ins, afternoons are flexible for visits, and evenings wind down with quiet time, walks, and last rounds. Your pets become part of the natural flow of my week.

I also appreciate knowing their personality, comfort items, and any “do or don’t” rules you follow at home. The more I know, the more I can tailor gentle, attentive care that keeps your pet feeling secure and understood.
