“It was so nice to have Danielle walk and play with my puppy while I was at work. I was relieved knowing Luna was in good hands. Danielle came at the agreed upon time and took Luna for engaging neighborhood walks.”

“Coralee is wonderful! The dogs love her, she is communicative and respectful. The other day I was on an important meeting and Coralee came in the house. She knew about the meeting and was super quiet even when one of my dogs would not come to her. She really read the situation and handled it beautifully! Thank you, Coralee!”

“Hi, this is Charlie, Kate did a great job and took me on long walks, and when I was skipping meals because I missed my family she made sure to contact them to let them know. She always arrived on time!”

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Chris was great. He watched my dog Annie for the second half of my Christmas/NY vacation. The day he took over with Annie, she was feeling sick and limping. So stressful to hear from the other side of the country! He monitored her and sent pictures and texted me frequently to let me know how she was doing and thankfully she was feeling better after a couple of days. ”

“Charlie is the absolute best! She has been doing daily walks for my dog and it is the highlight of his day. His sits by the door waiting for her to arrive, gets so stinking excited when she shows up and toodles off with her in heaven. Charlie provides detailed updates on the walk and is highly communicative with us. In short, I could not recommend Charlie more!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover and experienced kitten foster, I understand that every pet is unique. “Scott is awesome! We are so thankful to have found him! Our dog recently was put on new medication and needs potty breaks more frequently, he's also older so he's either highly energetic or a bit slow. Scott is very attentive and patient with him and always communicates to us his demeanor and temperament on the walk. He really cares about our dog and is an immense pleasure to have as our dog walker!”
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats, and today I’m the proud dog mom to Leo, my 4 month old Siberian Husky. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have several years of experience house sitting and caring for pets while families are away. I previously worked as a nanny for a family and was also responsible for caring for their energetic Labrador, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure he received plenty of attention and exercise. That experience made me very comfortable handling large, high energy dogs. I also regularly care for my dad’s 3 year old German Shepherd/Husky, Luna, and have house sat for them on numerous occasions. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to providing reliable care so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and dependable hands. I currently have a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, which allows me to easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, and check ins throughout the day. This flexibility means I can tailor my availability to each pet’s needs, whether that’s morning feedings, midday drop-ins, or evening care. Because of this open schedule, I’m able to give pets consistent attention and stick closely to their normal routines, which helps them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m also able to adjust my day as needed to ensure reliable timing for feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. Pet care naturally fits into my routine, and I prioritize it as a meaningful part of my week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so incorporating visits and care throughout my day feels seamless and rewarding. I prefer to care for pets in their own home or take them on walks around their neighborhood, as I currently have my own young puppy at home. I find that pets are most comfortable and relaxed when they’re able to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, consistent experience that mirrors their usual schedule. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning if needed, exercise, playtime, and plenty of companionship and attention based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. If in the future, it works out to where our animals get along with each other, I would not mind making a special arrangements to care for your animal at my home. For dogs, I enjoy structured walks around their neighborhood so they can feel secure in familiar surroundings while still getting the exercise and enrichment they need. For cats and other pets, I make sure their environment stays clean, calm, and stress-free while they receive attentive care. My goal is always to provide reliable, in home care that keeps pets comfortable and helps owners feel confident while they’re away.

About: HELLO ...... My story started at a young age. I was blessed with the gift of communicating with God's magnificent creatures. In my well-traveled journey, I have gained working vet tech experience, knowledge, and wisdom that spans over 30 years. My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. So whether you are traveling for work, relocating or pleasure we are here to help care for your fur baby. I am a single grandmother raising my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures can bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work alongside me in this business venture. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business in the Bay area area I am a home-based professional dog care specialist so I can be a hands-on grandmother while raising my granddaughter. So I try to be as flexible and accommodating for upcoming visits ( personal schedule permitting), Thank you, Stevie. I have a very dog-friendly fenced yard that your fur baby can have easy access to throughout their visit. Plus walkable neighborhood with parks for socialization, exercise, and play.

Ava is great with my senior girl. She allows Callie to go at her own pace and understands that new smells are Callie’s favorite. Ava was even willing to drive her to a nearby park to mix it up a bit so she wasn’t always walking in the same areas. Good communication and very considerate, I definitely recommend Ava!

David is a rare find — reliable, kind, and truly cares. There are no words to fully capture the level of care David has shown for our Oreo. He's understanding, listens with patience, and is meticulous about following directions — the kind of person you can genuinely count on. He handled our goofy husky like a pro, and even gave attention to our cats, which wasn't part of the job at all. He's also incredibly responsive and consistently goes above and beyond — taking Oreo on longer walks and spending extra time with him. David was an absolute godsend while we were out of town for an extended trip. We came home to a dog who was relaxed, happy, and honestly more fit and healthy than when we left, thanks to all the exercise he made sure Oreo got. Beyond being a wonderful dog walker, David is just a genuinely great human being — generous, humble, dependable, and someone we feel lucky to have found. Highly, highly recommend.

Happy Summer Fun! Thank you Rachel, for seeing to our sweet Ryder for a peaceful morning walk after an eventful weekend of Parades and Boom, Booms!! He enjoys this time and I am so very grateful. Its a beautiful morning ~* Enjoy the Day & Have a great week ahead! Go USA ✨⚽

My dog and I are so glad we met Judi! She treats Finny as if he were her own and he absolutely loves her! Judi is meticulous about any instructions you have for your pup and your home and, because she has so much experience with dogs, she will let you know if she notices any changes or issues with your fur baby. As a new and somewhat anxious dog mom, I can relax and focus at work knowing Judi is coming over and Finny is safe and having a great time with her on their walks.

I had a great experience working with Avery. She arrived on time, was professional and reliable, and did everything exactly as agreed. Communication was smooth throughout the process, and I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and trustworthy dog walker, and I would be happy to work with her again in the future.

Courtney is the best of the best! I had never previously needed to hire “outside help” for one of my dogs (I only moved to the west coast a couple of years ago and previously had many friends and family nearby to help out) so I was super nervous to leave my puppy in the care of someone I didn’t know very well. Courtney put me at ease as soon as I met her. I could tell she really cared about taking care of Sadie the way I wanted her to be taken care of and Sadie warmed up to her right away. Courtney is great at what she does and very dependable. My only complaint is that she doesn’t have more availability, but that speaks to what a great dogsitter/walker she is and how many people want her services!

Sydney was so responsive and easy to work with for a last minute care request! We did a quick meet and greet, which was appreciated for my peace of mind and to be sure my dog was familiar with her. She send along photos and updates from his walk that were thorough and timely. Thank you, Sydney!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
