“Charlie is the absolute best! She has been doing daily walks for my dog and it is the highlight of his day. His sits by the door waiting for her to arrive, gets so stinking excited when she shows up and toodles off with her in heaven. Charlie provides detailed updates on the walk and is highly communicative with us. In short, I could not recommend Charlie more!”
“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Willow and Tina as our dog walkers. They are attentive, friendly, and truly understanding of what both we and our dog need. From the very beginning, they communicated with us so clearly and consistently, taking the time to really understand our instructions and preferences. It’s clear they genuinely care, and that level of attention gave us confidence right away. Since we live in an apartment, there are a few extra steps and details involved for walks, but they were more than happy to go through everything with us and make sure it all worked smoothly. They were patient, flexible, and always willing to do what it takes to make things easier for everyone. When they first met our dog, he loved them instantly, which meant so much to us. It’s not always easy to trust new people with your pet, but they made that transition feel effortless. From day one, they made our dog feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. When we both started jobs that required us to be back in the office, we were really worried about leaving our dog home alone for long periods of time. Willow and Tina completely took that stress away. They stepped in with so much care and professionalism, and now we don’t worry at all knowing our dog is in such good hands. They’ve also gone above and beyond in moments that really mattered. When our dog was sick, they took such thoughtful care of him and kept me updated throughout the day. Getting those updates while I was at work was incredibly comforting and reassuring. Our trust in them has grown so much over time, and we feel genuinely relieved and grateful every single day. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our dog is not only being looked after, but truly cared for. Our family is so lucky to have found Willow and Tina, and we couldn’t recommend them more.”

“So happy with Abby! She walked our babies several days both this week and last, and she did a great job. She made me feel comfortable having to leave them for longer periods of time. Highly recommend working with her!”

“Courtney has been a God send! I started using Rover just a few months ago and she was my very first dog walker and first experience…and I have nothing but positive things to say!! She’s very responsive, responsible and sends me pictures of my senior pup when I’m away. I can see the pictures and her messages and it’s comforting, and brings me peace knowing he’s in great hands. ❤️ I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve grown up my whole life with at least one dog and currently have 4. I have a 14 year old border collie mutt, a 7 year old aussie/german shepherd mix, and two 2 year old border collies. My oldest dog is around 90 pounds and my youngest around 30 pounds so I have a lot of experience handling/taking care of a wide range of dogs. I take them on walks or to the park very regularly and also take them on runs! I’m currently a full time student at UC Davis and missing my 4 dogs so I would love to take your pups on a walk to help fill that void:) I am home for the summer so I’m free most days of the week and am flexible on times. Like I mentioned previously I currently have 4 dogs so I have alot of experience with taking care of dogs. Two of my dogs currently sleep in crates so I’m very familiar with crate training as well.
About: I grew up with dogs since the wee age of four. From Rottweilers to Poodle mixes and adorable, rescue chihuahua-somethings, I have always been lucky to have a dog or two (or three) by my side. I look forward to learning the specials things you love about your pet. I start the day taking the dogs out for a walk by the Anacostia River. In the mornings I work and take my toddler to an activity before naptime at noon. The dogs go out again after work and before dinner. There is a dog park attached to our building and an even bigger one nearby. Then finish the night with a treat and a final walk outside before snuggling into snoozeville. I have crates available for smaller dogs that prefer them and many isolated spots dogs can relax solo. I also have a pen/stroller to store my toddler if I notice a dog is feeling nervous.

You can trust that your pet will be safe, happy, and treated like family. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting in your home while continuing my workday. When pets stay in my home, they receive attentive, round-the-clock care with frequent opportunities to go outside. We have a dog door for pets who are comfortable using one, and I’m always happy to take dogs out regularly if they’re not familiar with it. For dog boarding in our home, we have a pet-friendly backyard with plenty of space to roam, play, or relax on our covered patio in the shade. The yard is double-gated, providing a secure and safe environment for your pups to enjoy. When caring for pets in your home, I’m always respectful, attentive, and conscientious about following pet parents’ instructions and safety preferences to ensure their pets feel comfortable and well cared for.
About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, growing up I had three different dogs, Ruby, who died when I was 8, Ollie, and Zoe. I’ve had three fish, two mice, a lizard, and a hamster. Starting at age 12, I began dog and cat sitting for my neighbors and friends, and many families have relied on me for the care of their animals when they cannot be there. I also study animal science with a pre vet concentration in school so I'm extremely knowledgeable on how to correctly interact and care for pets I am currently a full time pet sitter, so sitting is my whole life at the moment. During the year I study animal science but when I am not working over the summer I love to read and bake! I always make sure front doors are closed or locked, pay special attention to certain rules and expectations of different pet owners, and never let animals out of my sight unless they are safely inside or in an enclosed outside space.
About: Hi! My name is Tim, and I’ve always had a strong love for dogs and the outdoors. I currently own and care for Kali, my energetic Belgian Malinois/Rottweiler mix. Raising and training a large, high-energy breed has given me hands-on experience with daily exercise, leash handling, basic obedience, socialization, and providing consistent structure and care. Because of Kali’s energy level, I’m comfortable walking active dogs that need both physical exercise and attention. I understand the importance of patience, safety, and reading a dog’s body language to help ensure a positive experience on every walk. I’m reliable, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes. Whether your dog prefers a long adventure, a neighborhood stroll, or extra attention and playtime, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own dog. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! If dogs could text, mine would probably spend all day asking, “Walk now?” If your pup feels the same way, I’d be happy to help! I’m primarily available on weekdays and love making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and tail-wagging fun while their owners are away. Weekend availability is sometimes possible too—just ask! 🐾 I treat every dog as if they were my own. Safety and trust come first, and I take pride in creating a positive environment where dogs feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. As an active dog owner with experience handling energetic large breeds, I understand how important exercise, attention, and consistency are. You can count on me to provide safe walks, reliable care, and plenty of love while keeping your dog’s well-being my top priority.

“Riley was excellent with our dog Nova. She was on time for morning walks for two full weeks while we were on vacation. She provided Nova with plenty of exercise and care and provided us with detailed updates and lots of photos. We will definitely book Riley again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over seven years through the Wag! platform in addition to friends and family’s pups, and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Over time, I’ve discovered that I truly excel with smaller, calmer, and more mellow dogs—and that’s where my focus is for Rover. I take a gentle, attentive approach to dog care, paying close attention to each dog’s comfort level, routine, and preferences. I’m especially mindful of dogs who thrive in quieter, low-stress environments and do best with patience and consistency. Whether it’s relaxed walks, cozy companionship, or simply maintaining their normal routine, my goal is always to create a safe, low-stress experience where dogs feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. Pet care is my top priority. My schedule is flexible so I may step away for some dog walks, but I am mindful of my schedule and adjust taking additional walks accordingly. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously in both my home and my clients’ homes. I approach every pet with patience and respect, allowing them time to adjust and feel secure in a new environment or routine. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space that’s especially well-suited for smaller, mellow pets. I have a fully fenced yard, and all outdoor time is closely supervised to ensure safety at all times. I’m mindful of doors, gates, and potential hazards, and I create a quiet environment where pets can relax without unnecessary stress or overstimulation. I closely follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any specific care preferences shared by their owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and attention as my own. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain consistency with the pet’s normal schedule, and ensure their environment remains safe, familiar, and comfortable. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or mood and communicate promptly with owners if anything seems out of the ordinary. Above all, I aim to build trust—both with pets and their people—by being reliable, observant, and genuinely attentive to each pet’s well-being.

I also am very active so I can run or walk your dogs if requested. I have free time in all time sections of my days, every weekday and weekends. The only time I am busy throughout the week is when I have class which is for max of 3.5hrs, so I can make your times work! About: Hi! I'm new to Rover, however, I've loved animals all my life. And I understand how important it is to ensure your fur baby is cared for ❤️ I have my own pup, Cloud (my goober bear) and fish at home. My family also has cats, so I’m very familiar with all kinds of personalities. I’ve also volunteered at a horse ranch and helped care for chickens, and one day I’d love to have my own little farm + animal sanctuary 🐾 My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible like you never left. I really take the time to understand what matters most to you and your pet, so I can mirror that same love, energy, and care while you’re away. I’m very active, mindful, and intuitive (I’m also a yoga teacher), which helps me tune into animals and their nonverbal cues. Happy Summer Fun! Thank you Rachel, for seeing to our sweet Ryder for a peaceful morning walk after an eventful weekend of Parades and Boom, Booms!! He enjoys this time and I am so very grateful. Its a beautiful morning ~* Enjoy the Day & Have a great week ahead! Go USA ✨⚽

This is my first time ever hiring dog walkers, and while I was always open to the idea, I was a little hesitant at first. Willow and Tingting have completely exceeded my expectations. They have been amazing with my little girl, Pepper, and always provide thoughtful updates after every walk. Their communication is so detailed that I almost feel like I'm right there with them. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that Pepper is happy, well cared for, and in such loving hands. I couldn't recommend them more!
My dog and I are so glad we met Judi! She treats Finny as if he were her own and he absolutely loves her! Judi is meticulous about any instructions you have for your pup and your home and, because she has so much experience with dogs, she will let you know if she notices any changes or issues with your fur baby. As a new and somewhat anxious dog mom, I can relax and focus at work knowing Judi is coming over and Finny is safe and having a great time with her on their walks.

I had a great experience working with Avery. She arrived on time, was professional and reliable, and did everything exactly as agreed. Communication was smooth throughout the process, and I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and trustworthy dog walker, and I would be happy to work with her again in the future.

Courtney has been a God send! ❤️ I highly recommend her.

Courtney is the best of the best! I had never previously needed to hire “outside help” for one of my dogs (I only moved to the west coast a couple of years ago and previously had many friends and family nearby to help out) so I was super nervous to leave my puppy in the care of someone I didn’t know very well. Courtney put me at ease as soon as I met her. I could tell she really cared about taking care of Sadie the way I wanted her to be taken care of and Sadie warmed up to her right away. Courtney is great at what she does and very dependable. My only complaint is that she doesn’t have more availability, but that speaks to what a great dogsitter/walker she is and how many people want her services!
